This album is one of the best country albums out there and not to mention sung by one the best people in the biz'.
songs like 'my old friend' and 'can't tell me nothin' and the excellent 'old town new' really make this album special and worth listening to. all the song are good and tim mcgraw sings with ease.

This album does not live up its hype, nor the other albums preivous sucess. Songs like 'A balitmore love thing' and 'ryder music' really slow the album down and causes you to loose intrest.
Guest appearences are kept to a minimum and it becomes apperent that fifty cobbled this album together without much care and in doing so has made the album more soul than gangsta. There are some good songs, but the bad outwiegh good.
The Massacre is a big letdown and should have been a decent followup to 'get rich or die tryin' but insted it wallows in its shadow.
