Hey gang sorry i've been away for a while... I think last season and the strike took some of my evil wind out of my evil sails... but it won't be too long before season 4 for which I am most thankful...

I must confess and few new TV loves though... they will never compete for my SN love.... but DAMN... I LOVE MAD MEN. I cannot stop watching it... the clothes, the way they talk and treat each other, the drinking, the smoking and the stories... it sucks you in and keeps you there!!!!

and I became very fond of Chuck last season... SN, Chuck and Reaper are the three things I look most forward to, well that and Dollhouse. hello Joss is god!

man i feel lame for no blog in forever... it's just been crazy here at home and at work... there was the my car getting broken into and my ipod being stolen, there was the inflamed spleen (which is better now), there was the week from hell where after my normal 8 hour job i spent 2 hours a night cleaning a doctors office... and let me just say DAMN they are some messy messy people and lord do they eat!...

then it's been holiday hell shopping for people when you have no idea what to get them and you feel like just saying F it, but you cant...

and then this weekend, my husband's grandmother had a stroke... a pretty serious one, but she is still "there" mentally, able to talk but her left side has no real movement at this point... they think that she may be able to improve over time, but right now it's tough and it's tough on my husband because blessedly he's had very few family members who have been really ill, so he's not used to it all. My grandmother passed away from a stroke, though hers was massive and it was after a longish illness... and all of this right before Christmas...

but on the positive side, i got a wonderful gift from a dear dear friend overseas... it hangs on my christmas tree and makes me smile when i see it. I get to go to Chicago this coming fall thanks to Lizzie and Pix for quick thinking and I get to be there with my Twin andfinally meet the SFU crowd... oh yeah and maybe see J2 too . so really things aren't as bad as my *b i t c h i n g but i feel better for having at least said it!
