I must write a review for Orbital. Even though their albums after this have been worse than manure, I never, ever tire from the innovation and paradigm for today's musicians such as Tiesto and Cyrrus. Not only is the music phenominal, the recording of the album is so crystal clear and multi-tracked, you could burn that same quality on a Memorex CD-R (well, almost. Memorex is still bottom #1 in my book). If you electronic music fan, you must have. If not, buy it now. You will place it right next to your Moby 18:B-sides cd, under lock and key.

These guys are in their 50s but do not, I reapeat, do not bop along to the local oldies but goodies radio station blaring The Beach Boys and The Partridge Family, sitting in their broken down '70 Nova that's traveling it's way to the dump. NO!!! They've always been ahead of it all. I saw them in May, too excited for words, but keeping in mind they might have stopped the intrest in music of the future. Dude was I wrong, wrong, wrong!!! The whole stage had 3 screens syncronized to play as one screen rolling innovative, creative video that fit the theme of each of their songs they played, going back from Autobahn to the hardcore thump of some new stuff. The age range of the audience was old hippies, business men/ weekend warriors, to the true Raver youths. The energy Kraftwerk built up in all of us in the audience was increadibly massive, astoundingly exciting!!! After each song, all us in the audience were overwelmed by the brilliant surge of fresh technological artistry. At the end of the encore song, Kraftwerk built up so much vitality in us all, we could not stop going nuts cheering with all our being. It was like that cheer when you are at a rave party and the united energy of everyone is so intense, every one starts cheering: yea, THAT'S what it was like. Do not miss them if they tour again!!! Otherwise, your butt will be so red from constantly kicking yourself. This new Minimum Maximum album is a must for me to get because it reminds me of that experience I'll never, ever, ever, ever forget.

The last reviewer forgot to mention Moby (The Jesus Christ of the new millenium), Tiesto (did music for the opening games of The Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece), and William Orbit ("Addagio for Strings" and produced Madonna's "Ray of Light" and "Music" albums) being the electronic music geniuses of now. Take your Enya and Tangerine Dreams and throw it in the catagory of TIRED. Even Wendy Carlos would know what's in!!!

It's always a very rare blue moon when you come across an album that every song on it is so moving or so incredibly creative that you need it more than oxygen itself. Yes, really!!! This is one of these albums. I thought I wouldn't see another exceptional album for years because we recieved that gift from Fatboy Slim last year, but voila': Music that reminds us why we are alive. Because life has it's forms of beauty. Telepop's last album, "Genetic World", started off incredible but really didn't stick with their beginning format they started with and the ended up like "Space Mountain", disappointing me that the anticipation derived from the first songs was unfufilled. I said to myself, "I only get half an album?" Fortunatly, the meaty half was wonderful enough to put up with the rest of crap that tagged along on with it. HOWEVER, on this new "ride", Angel Milk, like all true great artists, Telepop sticks to what they know best and follows their m.o. They are brilliant atmeshing the old 40's Nelson Riddle-esqe sound with adding the right amount of the electronic music's presence. Mind you, when I mean "old", it's not just the orchestration and instrument loops they use, but "old" like that Torch song feeling that will really make you cry listening to Pat Benetar's box set. ("I didn't know she could go there!" LOL) True dispair, true blues, full wet tears directly from the heart. This is perfection for your meloncholy!!! Especially now that we lost Luther V. (I'm STILL in tears). Telepop can pick up the ball in comforting us when we fall emotionally disabling right into those empty dumps. Thank you, thank you, thank you Telepopmusic!!!!! And may Luther's gifted soul rest in complete peace with our Father in Heaven.
