Adieu Mon amis!
My DS asploded....
Not too long ago my DS's hinge broke off, no idea why either i havent dropped it or maltreated it in any way or form. and my sister CLAIMS she didnt do anything wrong when she played with it. so my dad got me some crazy glue and tried to glue back the part that broke off and the good news is that the hinge is back on strong as ever but the bad news is that now the R button dosent work, also the L button broke along time ago so this means BOTH my shoulder buttons are messed up.
Well, thats a depressing thought
My VC games request!
Not sure why im writing this since noone out there is gonna read this, but hey just for the heck of it here are some of the games i wanna see for the virtual console on the wii:
- Nes:River City Ransom (1980's sushi eating gang warfare)
- Sega:Michael Jackson's Moonwalker (it made me lawlz!!)
- Sega:Nights (never got to play it wanted to try it)
- SNES:Metal Warriors (Mech Battles Rawk!)
- SNES: looney toons b-ball (dont remember the exact name but it was an awesome game)
- NES: Mario World 3 (Possibly the best mario ever!)
- N64: Perfect Dark (Come on microsoft, let Rare produce it for us just this once!)
- N64: RoadRash 64 (hitting someone with a giant banana going 200 on a motorcycle never gets old)
I wish upon a star that nintendo will magically receive this list and get to the production of these games soon! until then i will spam them with mail until they break and make it or till they put me on an ignore/restraining order list, cause thats how i roll.
Hey its not that bad!!
So i got done beating and playing redsteel and im wondering, what the heck is everyones problem? I thought that the shooting aspect of it was really great, and not as generic as what most people say it is (Focus power is cool). And hey even though it had alot of hype to it which cause alot of let downs, i think its not bad at all, sure it wasnt what most people were expecting but that dosent make it into a sucky game. i think that the only real problem with it was the occasional glitch from a ragdoll (which can sometimes be humorous) and the lack of cinematic cutscenes put in with bad voice acting (which is more of an accent problem rather than acting ability, authentic japanese voices!) i mean the story was like something youd see from an action movie. As for the swordfighting its preety good once you get the hang of it (that or im just amused easily), but its not too unresponsive, its basicaly as unresponsive as Wii Boxing would be. The visuals are great, i dont get the problem with the graphics... u see alot of really cool explosions in the game and while multiplayer only has 4 levels and 3 game modes its still preety fun triying it out. well i dont know what else to rant on, so i think ill leave it at that. oh yea you guys need to start posting comments..im feeling rejected over here
Yay new post!!
Lan party!
So i went to that lockin mention before with my friend, it was awesome killing some time on Gmod, and not to mention i finally got to try out The Ship (Liked it alot).. that night was Steam driven. but my freind and i have decided that it is quiet expensive and that was probably gonna be the last time we went (also cause he has a new computer and dosent need to go anymore).
Had alot of fun killing zombies too on Gmod, which makes me think. We need a game with zombies in it that concentrates on survival but has a multiplayer factor in it, like RE outbreak... but more in depth. Could you just imagine Dead rising with online to it? All the zombie movies usually involve a large party not just one guy, so why not make it Human players rather than cruddy AI, much needed i would say!
Yay For indie!
Man do i need some cash...
Research Research Research...
After countless days of pointless work i have come up with this:
A. People who are against games all say the same gibberish, it desentizes gamers (and thats it and even thats not enough proof), they say that once and the rest of the argument is about how games supposibly teach kids to kill, and how its all satanic...
B. Game sales go up Violence goes down, mirror neurons yadda yadda yadda. Games=Emotional punching bag, The governator tried to kill violent games. and so on.
C.The study of the English language is dead to me after college.
Ooh a Essay.
Well I got an English paper for my last semester at my school (senior year) worth like 1 gazzilion points (yes i did make up that number) and if i dont complete it i dont graduate so no college (is this a bad thing?) anywho lucky for me i was the last person (out of 45 people 3 person per topic) to get video game violence as a subject. gonna be some hard work to do *sigh*, need to find some info (thank you gamespot) and some manditory books, sadly I might have to resort to Jack Thompson *shudders* (i know he's written a book or two) oh and thanks to all the few people who actually read my blogs the few and the proud sorry i havent returned the favor as often just been busy.
I got a wii........FOR REAL!
Sweet! though my story is a tad ironic. See yesterday i told my friend she could borrow rayman from me cause i didnt have one and i didnt expect on getting it soon (also she thinks its stupid and i aim to prove her wrong) so this day at school i gave it to her and she gave me Fire emblem as colateral. So in the afternoon i went to the mall with my friend and stopped at gamespot and asked annd BAM they said they had it. Now you'd think theyd hand it over but no! Since my freind happens to work there and we all happen to know each other they mocked me a bit, forced me to put a warranty (didnt mind much) and a reservation for warioware (that i minded...ill change it for SSBB l8r) then allowed me to take it. so anywho i finally got it so yay Jubilations!

Oklahoma's passing a gaming bill??? ........IM IN OKLAHOMA!!
http://www.gamespot.com/news/6151814.html?q=Oklahoma
Im in oklahoma and i happen to be only 16 (17 in october) so legally this means that i cant buy any more games (nor can my parents). I dont see why though, what people fail to realize, is that an M rated game is the same as watching an R rated movie (AO being NC-17).That meaning that the contents of an R rated movie are the same as M. If a parent supervises a child at an R rated movie they are okay to go in, the same should also apply to video games. WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?!?!?
