I would just like to say that MGS 3 is my favorite game of all time, and in 2004 it swept my GOTY awards, so MGS 3: Subsistence will be absent from this years GOTY awards. I have reached lvl 10 (83%) in just 56 days! Thats pretty fast i think.

On a different note, i beat Shinobi (PS2) last night. The last boss is so incredibly HARD its worthy of CAPS LOCK!!! After 2 hours of hell, i finally managed to finish him. I built a combo of 9 kills with my sword and killed him in one shot. Needless to say, it was the hardest boss fight i have ever trimphed over. I felt so proud of myself for beating him, and like Greg K said in his DMC 3 review, "Its rare that games make me feel special for beating them." Overall, i thought Shinobi was a great game. Check out my review of it for more info.

I also beat DMC 3: SE recently, and that was also fanatastic. I loved every second of it. I beat it on the trickster setting, and i am now currently beating it with the Quicksilver style. I recommend you guys go check this one out!

Syriana is a political thriller set in the Cold War era during a global fight for control over the world's oil supply. Bob Barnes (Clooney) is a American agent stationed in Iran. He finds himself under investigation and in the middle of a huge conspiracy.

Bryan Woodman (Damon) is a oil broker working for a Swedish based company. He soon becomes the consultant to the Iranian Prince. He and prince try to bring an economy to Iran an stop America from sucking them dry of the greatest natural resource. Unfortunately, this platform leads to there demise.

Syriana is much more then just a great political thriller, it is also a thought provoking masterpiece. From start to end u you will be intrigued and also a little confusing. See Syriana is one of those movies that you have to piece together as it progresses. Clooney and Damon give a fantastic performance and it will make you think as if its the news. All the stories interlock so perfectly and provide a fantastic climax. With all that said, Syriana is a great movie and the best this year.

I was bored today so i went through all my old games and found them and added them to my collection. Most of them came from my two deceased systems, Game Gear and the Sega Genesis. While i had an old nintendo, i can't remember which games i did have (besides Mario). I had a racing one and some other fighting game. One of my favorites from the Sega, Aladdin is one hell of a fun game. If anyone is old-school enough to remember that game, they will remember what i am talking about.

Now i like to a lot of game reviews, and someone told me im a little harsh on some games, and a little to leniant on others. I agree with them, but it is my decision, and i tell them the rules i follow:

• 1. No games are Perfect.
• 2. If I hate a game i will mark it down in almost every category (except if it truly shines in a certain category, COD 2 in sound)
• 3. I usually pick apart games little flaws, which makes number 1 true.
• 4. Overhyped games (games that let me down) usually get a harsher mark then if it wasen't all hyped. (Halo 1 & 2)
• 5. Underappriated games i like i cut a little more slack. (Killzone)
• 6. Bad/ no story = lower tilt mark.
• 7. I play at least 3 quatres of a game before i review it (unless is just that bad. Black hawk Down, Renegade Paintball).

Sounds pretty cool right? WRONG! Uwe Boll wants to take a whack at the MGS series. Now everyone knows who Uwe Boll is right? The guy who turns every game he makes a movie on to utter crap. If this happens I might have to sit in the corner and cry for about 2 weeks. Hopefully Hideo Kojima will have the common sense to not let him within 300 ft of any MGS object.
