So long, farewell!
It's currently 10:03pm here in Sydney, tomorrow morning I need to be up at 5am to catch the plane on time and I'm still packing! I am a very very bad packer. I cannot pack lightly. I'm trying to shove my entire wardrobe into my little suitcase and both my parents are yelling at me to only take the essentials. But I keep freaking out that I will need all this random stuff. I just spent an hour trying to fit 9 pairs of shoes in my backpack, with my mum glaring at me and shaking her head. She made me remove 6 of my shoes. I feel so empty inside.

And it's so much worse that it'll be winter over there. At least summer clothes are all nice and small. I just put A warm coat, a raincoat, a leather jacket, tracksuit pants and Half-Blood Prince in my luggage and it's already full. Grr. I'm not even taking any Twilight books, because my friend wanted to borrow them while I was away and I couldn't refuse because I'm too freaking nice. Gah.

I think our plane trip to Tokyo is about 10 hours. I'm quite excited for that actually, I love plane trips. It's just eating and sleeping and sitting and watching tv, which is pretty much what I do all the time anyways. My iPod is fully charged too and loaded with dozens of new podcasts to listen to, including Buffy Between the Lines season 1! Plus I put Glee on there
And we're staying in Tokyo for 4 nights. I just got my travel card done loaded up with a few months of pay and I plan to take a nice long walk down Harajuku and spend spend spend! I will come back home with the quirkiest stuff, I'm very excited. Then after that we're going to Rome for a week, where we'll pick up our hired car and drive around Northern Italy for a few more days. Not that exciting, I've been there and it's all traffic and old smelly historical buildings that I don't really care about. Then we're driving down to Sicily and going pretty much everywhere there. Then finally going to a small down at the very south called Avola where my grandmother and aunt live, and we're staying there over Christmas and New Years. I think we're staying there for the rest of January as well, but we're probably gonna go to Egypt, Malta and London, for like a day thing. Like I said, not too overly excited about Italy, but oh well. I'm mainly looking forward to Japan. There's an Irish pub behind our hotel and a KFC in front of it. Chicken and beer: I'm set! It'll be like I never even left home.

I'm bringing my laptop and might get access to wireless internet every now and then, but not often. I won't be able to check my mod queue once a week. I get back Febuary 4 2010, and I hope it's still gonna be warm here when I get back. I can't stand the thought of losing Summer. It's gonna be a hot one this year, I can tell. It's only November now and it's already hit 42 degrees celcius. Damn gradual yet inevitable heating of the Earth's core! I really shouldn't have watched 2012.

Knight Rider, My New Best Friend
Up until a month ago, I was unaware that a show called Knight Rider even existed (And no, I don't mean that crappy remake that came out last year, but the original KR, the 80's version.) I watched a few episodes on YouTube the other day, and what can I say, I'm hooked!!!! This. show. is. AWESOME. My favorite parts are the ones between Michael and KITT (also known as the Knight Industries Two Thousand). Their relationship is unique and special, even if Kitt IS a car. The plots are interesting, and even though the effects are kind of lame sometimes, it's still a good show, and I'm dissapointed it doesn't appear on tv anymore. Not to mention David Hasselhoff in those tight 80's jeans!!!!

SUPPORT The Golden Compass
First off, I am Christian and while the movie's roots are anti-Cathloic, the movie itself is not. Religious organization have spent the past year boycotting the film having not even seen it yet. If they had seen it, they would have seen that the film omits religion from the movie completely, not once is the words church or Catholic mentioned in the movie. The movie is excellent and teaches us the importance of bravery, friendship, and fighting for what you believe in. Please support the movie by seeing it (although if you stick strongly to your beliefs then don't, I'm only asking you to give it a chance not trying the force you) or join my facebook group here: http://hs.facebook.com/group.php?gid=15355620537

Just a little update for ya'll's!!!

Hey Guys, What's up?!

It's been awhile since i've been on here..or so says fishinglover, lol. but yea, just wanted to give everyone an update and let them know that I AM alive!! but yea..I still work at McDonald's..and it's sucks, but what else is new? Oh, and I'm going to a Todd Agnew, Rush of Fools, Joy Whitlock concert 2nite and it should be a lot of F-U-N!!!

Also, I'm learning to play guitar!! I started about 3-4 months ago, actually. I have a Fender Starcaster and right now the first string is kinda broken or else I'd be playing it right now.. but yea, I started learning chords about 4 months ago and this past weekend my neighbor came over and he's like a guitar "god" and he showed my friend and I some of his mad skills with tablature and stuff..so ye..if ne one knows where I can find more about how to play guitar online then PLEASE contact me, either on here, or wherever..I don't check my e-mail that much..so i probably wouldn't try there, but here is cool. I might actually start coming back on more often..if work doesn't get in the way..

Oh, and another thing, don't ask me ne questions about my new favorite show, Heroes, cuz I haven't even seen ANY of season 2 yet..and i'm kinda ticked about it, cuz I was going to tape them but the first night my recorder didn't work, and this week I just plain forgot..but I heard it was good from a friend at school..

So yea..that's my update...

WWE...faves...and overrated Superstars

well when it comes to the WWE my faves rarely change. i started watching when i was 11 and now im 16. i was a shifting fan up until i got into my recent favorites. they are as follows....

RKO
Cena
Batista
HHH
Mysterio
London
Kendric
Victoria
RVD
Mike the Miz

and then there are the retired ones...or atleast not on WWE anymore

scott steiner
Team 3-D
kevin nash
goldberg
stone cold
Rowdy Roddy Hot Rod Piper

last but NOT least
Eddie Guerrero

now...lets talk about overrated superstars......

JEFF HARDY---ok...amazing acrobatic skills, but IMO hes TOO much of a face (good-guy in wwe terms)
Elijah Burke---come on. he SUCKS, atleast IMO.
MVP---he just annoys me. i dont see how he jumped right in to the biz & got shot right up there.
Cade/Murrdock---they aren't good "wrestlers" they just arent. andthey gimmick is HORRIBLE.

OK well thats my opinion. if you feel the need to defend a wrestler i dont like, feel free to do so.

Console RPG idea for Wii, PS3, and X360 era

In these days, gamers are split on the ideas of games.  In earlier times like the SNES days, playing Legend of Zelda would take a few days to beat the game.  Today, I can play that game from start to finish in a couple hours.  Some gamers long for the huge RPGs that take 100 to 200 gaming hours to beat, while some want to play a game, beat it, and go on to the next great game.  Some of these RPGs get so big and so long due to excessive available storage space that players begin to lose interest, never beating that game.  Thus comes to my ideas.

The Dungeons and Dragons system has many variations as well as published modules or stories that can take 4 hours to play through or as long as several days to play through.  What can happen?  A new DnD system be created for online access consoles and available for multisystem and cross-system play.  Every game following this vide game DnD system would have a standard character creation system where old saved characters can continue play in new adventures or be modified to fit special adventures.  Developers can publish the adventures using a static system that can be backward and forward compatible, with some toleration.  These adventures could be provided as short adventures could be purchased for $25 to $40 while the larger adventures could go for $50 to $65 pending on the adventure.

I made comment to cross system playing.  Since the DnD systems are mainly turn based, nothing really limits those to one system.  Characters can be transferred through an online server database from a PS3 to a Wii or X360.

Where can this idea go?  I had my idea for a Legend of Zelda game having 2 play modes, simple and adventurous.  Simple would cut down the game to following a story while adventurous would be tremendously longer adding more work and adventure as no item would be just given to the player in order to continue the game.

Whoever invented forums, GOOD JOB!
I just love the way people interact on forums. It's a community like none other (perhaps with the exception of instant messaging, but that's not the point here)

Forums open people up to other people. My site is what it is today due to the (almost) religious visits from forum peeps and suggestions from forum people. So, DUR thanks you for making it what it is today, and I proudly bear the claim that the site is made by the fans for the fans. A bit of a cliche, but who's caring?

To all my subscribers on TV.com, thanks also. And to all my complimenters, Thank you as well. It is heartwarming to see such support and comments of what i do and it is precisely this, and only this, that motivates me and my staff to bring DUR to new heights daily.

Ah well, I guess i'll leave it here for now. See you all next post!
