These are some of the things I wish would be changed around here..

1- The color...

-Way too much white and its hurting my eyes. There needs to be way less of it but SOME white would be okay. Just not the whole screen. I feel like I should be in a padded room when Im here because theres so much white.

2- The actual format I wish would go back to the way it was...

-I dont know how exactly to describe this, but Im refering to the way everything is set up (pictures during the summaries, the list on the lefthand side for blogs/friends/favorite, the summary itself, etc). I really liked it the way it was before and also I used to like how half the pictures/things listed werent cut off halfway unless you go to 'read more'. Like for example, you cant see half of my personal pic and other things and even scrolling down doesnt help. Theres a term for this but I cant remember what it was. Hopefully you guys get this. Never used to be a problem before.

3- Have 3 seperate places for 'friends' like you had before...

-One for whos tracking you, one for who you are tracking, and 1 for everything, like it was before. Unless Im missing something, everything is jumbled into one. While its there, I would also like it to be fixed so that half the people I am tracking it doesnt say 'start tracking'.

4- The html stuff..

-I had to turn off my editor thing because otherwise I couldnt edit my posts. Once I did this, I wasnt allowed to edit anything (unless I knew the html myself) or anything like that. The html switching from a B to strong for bold and things like that. Italics are different..a new paragraph is different and takes me a few tries. From a html-illerate person, just keep it the way it is!

5- Losing emblems...

-I had a few more that were lost and one doesnt have the pic/was lost. How crappy is this? Alot of other peeps complained about this as well.

A man by the name of Glen11523 (or something along those lines) appeared on my last blog to let me know about the following. Im just going to C and P what he said. Please participate in this if you are hating the new layout. It may do nothing at all, but it may help too. If you think this is a stupid idea then just move on and dont worry about it, I am posting this for the people who DO wish to participate in this. Also, if you wish to check out his blog about this or ask him questions, go to my last blog entitled "Hate this new layout" and you will find him in there. Thanks to everyone in advanced.

"First a HUGE thank you to everyone! A mere 36 hours after my first post, the chatter about Blackout Day is gaining speed.

Staff, Mods and Volunteers have contacted me to say they hope many people choose to take part. These hard-working people are for the most part volunteers and yet, they have been forced to take the brunt of the anger and frustration we users have felt with the new format. Our 24hour walk-out will get noticed (already has) and remember a key part is logging back on Oct. 1 and posting your blog with your "Top 5 List for Change"

Another huge thank you to tjaman for creating the avi for the blackout day. I have put the new avi up now and I suggest, if you are taking part in blackout day that you do the same. Why? This will increase the chatter about Sept. 30 Blackout Day and maybe increase the number of people participating. Remember your avi is seen in every comment and forum post you make. This is a huge way to generate interest in users who are not on our friends list, but may click on our profile to see why we all have the same avi all of a sudden. Also remember, along the way should you encounter anyone who does not agree with our planned blackout, respect their opinion and do not argue. Let's all agree to take the "high road" here. We are not forcing participation (as CBS forced the new format on us), we are not insisting that share our dissatisfaction. All we want is the sheer number of those of us unhappy to be seen and some concrete changes made.

Most of all, we NEVER want this kind of roll-out to happen again without sufficient notice and a chance to really input what changes we (the life-blood of the site and those who input ALL the data you find here) would like to see.

So, don't fight about it, this is a passive and peaceful protest, I respect completely anyone who does not choose to take part and/or disagrees with my point of view. REGARDING TIME ZONES: Just stay away for the 24 hours of September 30 for whatever time zone you are in. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Even one "quick peek" gets logged as you visiting the site that day. You have to be willing to not visit the site at all. Be sure you don't "open all in tabs" in any of your bookmarks and be sure that you don't have any "auto-log-in" features set for that day. I'm not going to enjoy not being here either, but for this to work, we have to show unity and resolve.

I know people have already said this and it may be getting a little old but Im really hating this new layout. I wouldve posted this earlier but the stupid site wouldnt let me! Its too white, first of all, and it isnt as user-friendly. When I used to go onto a forum I could tell right away what I havent read because itll be bold. Now I gotta see if its green, red, blue, or whatever other color they got going on. There are some other things on this layout I dont like what they did but its minor and some are hard to explain. Most of all, Im really getting sick of the gliches. Im hating how things like bold, italicize, make a new paragraph, etc has changed and for the first few days I couldnt do like anything on this site. I couldnt reply, couldnt write PMs, couldnt edit messages, etc. I think most people went through that but its annoying. Also, I tried looking to see if 2 people I tracked, tracked me back and it doesnt seperate it into your 1. contacts 2. people you are tracking 3. people tracking you, like the old one used to. Its all one big mess now (as far as I can tell). Now itll say 1. PM or 2. Start/stop tracking. For a few of the people on my list it says "start tracking" so I figured no big deal Ill just click on it and hopefully thatll make it work again. After I was done going through the list, it went right back to the first page and it says it again. So sorry if you were on my list and it makes it look like I stopped tracking you. It wasnt me, it was this site. Feel free to track me back if you want to. Or maybe it doesnt say I stopped at all and its just my account, IDK. Anyway, I guess thats it. I just hope tv.com wises up and changes it or at least modifies it. Most people are really hating this and some people have even left the site over it. That aint good. Feel free to express your opinions on this as well.

-If I put a (*) it means when I watched it (live or re-runs) I was a huge fan, but I dont watch it anymore. The ones I italicized mean that I wouldnt mind getting into the show, but I probably wont. The 5 shows I have listed as faves, are not my faves, but according to this list, they are. Also, they had The Office 2ice which even though its because its 2 different versions, I just decided to throw away one of them because it was kind of silly and add One Tree Hill in. Whether you watch the British or American version, just go by that if/when you answer this survey.
