I laughed so hard, I cried!

I just rickrolled a bunch of my friends cell phones! LOL

I was aimlessly searching around on the internet when I found a website that sends out rickrolls to cell phone numbers. You should have seen the text messages that I got aftwrwards!

"My phone wuz just rickrolled!"

"Why is Rick Astley singing to me?"

"I know that wuz you!"

I was laughing so hard, I swear, tears cameto my eyes. Some of my co-workers came over asking me what was so funny.

Has anyone gotten you yet?

Burger King King

Am I the only one who finds him super creepy? Remember the one commercial where the guy wakes up, pulls his shade up, and there is the King? He gives me nightmares, and now there is even a Halloween costume of him. I may have to lock myself in my home on October 31st.!

Are You Ready for Some Football???

Football is back. Yeah, I know I am a little late with the post, and yes, I know that it is only preseason. But, there is something comforting to me knowing that on any given Sunday I can turn on my TV and see The Big Blue again.

Do they have a repeat in them? Of course as a fan I think so, but who really knows. They made some moves in the off season that made me happy (bye bye Shockey), but nothing too huge. I guess they felt this team won the Super Bowl, why mess with success?

I am concerned a bit with Manningham, seriously... he scored a 6 on the intelligence test. Did I forget to mention that the average score is a 20? He will start the season on the DL, perhaps he can use that time to ed-u-mi-kate himself a bit on the Giants playbook. Then they draft 2 other guys that are Ivy league. LOL

If the Giants can keep their players out of jail (on mysterious charges no less, someone call Scooby) I think they have a legit chance of hoisting that trophy above their heads again this season!

And there you have my random ramblings about the Giants this seaon, hope you enjoyed!

Go Blue Go!

Mario Kart Wii

Good morning one and all!

I'd have to say that by now almost everyone on here has already gotten their copies of Mario Kart Wii, and have already weighed in on their opinions on how good (or bad) it is. So, here are my brief thoughts on the game:

I am ashamed to say that I have not had the opportunity to spend as much time with the game as I would have liked to this point. My stupid life and responsibilities keep getting in the way. Like right now. Why am I at work writing this blog when I could be at home racing??

So, that being said, I have to say that what I have seen so far has made me a very happy girl. I have unlocked all the courses, and was excited, to see the return of some of my favorite tracks, as well as my nemesis Rainbow Road. I am a bit unhappy with the online play, I have tried it only once and was unable to connect because Nintendo's servers were too busy. I guess everyone that owned the game was all reveved up to play at 7:22 last night just like I was. Never the less, I switched to off line and had a good time anyway. I can't wait to start unlocking some more of the characters, I miss racing with Dry Bones!

With all of that said, I am going to post my friend code on here. If you'd like we can race sometime. Just send me a PM after you have added me with your friend code, and I'll see you online!!

Boogedy, boogedy, boogedy, let's go racing boys!

Friend code 2621-3007-6429

Opening Day

The baseball gods were so saddened to see the last Opening Day game to be played at the historic Yankee Stadium that their tears feel down from the heavens, thus postponing the game until this evening.

That's right boys and girls! The boys of summer are back, and I couldn't be more excited. For the first time in recent memory the New York Yankees are not the favorite in the AL East, and I am not bothered by that at all. As a matter of fact I think it will give our Baby Yankees (otherwise known as Generation Tre) an even greater chance to show what they are made of. By removing the pressure of being the favorites they are free to exercise their growing pains, and show all of the doubters out there that this team can, and will return to the post season for the 13th straight year.

Enough about the team though. I am very upset to see the Stadium go. It was the place where I saw my first baseball game, and where I fell in love with both the sport, and my team. Although I no longer live in New York, and have not been in Yankee Stadium for longer than I would care to admit, it still gives me chills to see it on TV. It will be a very sad day for me next year when they move across the street into the new Yankee Stadium.

I understand the need for newer and better, but I also like tradition. Look at Fenway (not too long, you'll go blind), that old place has been around forever, and looks like it will still be for years to come. I am sad that such a big part of the mystique that surrounds the Yankees will soon come to an end. Everyone knows that the Stadium and it's ghosts are the 10th player on this team, and all the teams that have preceded it.

I am happy to hear that the new stadium has incorporated female locker rooms in the event that baseball ever become integrated and allows female umpires. To me that says they are looking forward with this stadium, and maybe this one will be around for a long time. I am hoping that it will not follow the trend that is around baseball these days. You know what trend I am talking about. The one where a team builds a stadium and decides 10 years into it that it is not good enough, and demands a new one. Baseball is about tradition, of one generation taking the newer generation to their first games, sitting in the same seats that they once sat in at their age. That is what baseball is to me. Tradition. And that is why it makes me so sad to see Yankee Stadium begin it's farewell tour. It's just nice to know that the baseball gods agree with me...
