I just had my first hint that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is really starting to rule my life. Over the weekend I took Baxter for a walk into town, and we passed a home where I could see through a thin curtain that someone was inside watching TV or reading something. And one thought immediately entered my mind: "Boy, if I had a sniper rifle, that person would really be in a lot of trouble right now!" The game is still immensely fun, especially the multiplayer, where I've just gained access to the Javelin. My stats are slowly still creeping up, as my K/D ratio is 0.82 and my accuracy is around 32.5%. I also came across some jokers trying to help each other get a game ending nuke. Clearly theywere hiddenoff together somewhere, one using tactical insert to keep popping up in the same spot so his buddy could keep killing him and rack up a lengthy killstreak. I've done a few more Special Ops, but even at the lowest difficulty level the more advanced ones are just brutal. I think I gave myself an aneurism yesterday, I screamed so much at one of them. I was defusing the last bomb in Bomb Squad and someone killed me with less than a second to go for mission success. It took me a few more tries, but I finally got it and then got some cough drops to soothe my sore throat.
I've also had to resolve to get no more new games this year until I'm done with what I've got piled up: Assassin's Creed, Dark Sector, Space Chimps, Star Ocean: The Last Hope, and Tales of Vesperia. Of course, there are a few exceptions, namely Bioshock 2 and Final Fantasy XIII. My goal is to knock out AC and one other before February 9 (B2) and hopefully squeeze another in between that and March 10 (FFXIII). I'm guessing it'll be the two RPGs that lanquish on my mantle for a while longer.
As for TV.com, I've been chipping away at cleaning the Magnum, P.I. guide and am now up to season three. I'm also dealing with a rash of level 1s submitting opinion/reviews as recaps. Also, some joker keeps starting new accounts and submitting edits to summaries of The Office where they addgraphic gay sex acts between the male Dunder Mifflin employees. The joys of editorship! Also, I'm unable to view my own profile there, so had to blog from GameSpot; I put in a Tech Support forum thread, but I don't know yet if it's just me or everyone.
That's all for today. Thanks for reading, everybody!
Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year. What did everyone get for Christmas? How did you celebrate the New Year?
For Christmas I got the usual PJs, T-shirts, Books, etc, plus I got Guitar Hero for my Xbox, so I've been rocking to that for the last week or so! New Years I went to a party & saw 2010 in with some friends...it was a good night.
Hope everyone's celebrations for the holiday season were enjoyable and hope you all got what you wanted!
The post Christmas sales are now on and I've started my usual January purchasing of DVDs & games. So far I picked up Dead Like Me season 1, One Tree Hill season 5, Rockband (xbox 360), Gavin & Stacey (seasons 1-3 + the Christmas special), The Proposal and Skate 2. Not quite as much as last year when I couldn't get through the door because of the parcels, but all the things I wanted.
Have you started Sale shopping? Bought anything nice?
I'm heading off now to Guitar Hero a bit more...wish me luck

I wasn't too sure what to write about. I could focus on the negative stuff but that would be very pessimistic. Or I could focus on the positive stuff but that wouldn't be right either. So I figured I'd list the milestones I've passed, historical stuff that I remember, and general stuff. Nothing too dark, it is a party after all. Although I can't seem to find the light switch. Tequila shots for all, eggnog for some!
General
-Crossed into new millennium.
-People immediately forgot about Y2K and now believe in 2012. Also gullible is not in the dictionary.
-A string of unsolved cases of feet washing up on the shores of BC.
-Terrorism becomes more prominent than ever before.
-Various countries taunt the world with taboo nuclear research.
-Recycling and eProducts start earning popularity. And yet everyone still owns at least 1 car.
Fads or Trends
-Ipods, adopting babies, anorexia (mostly actresses), purse-dogs, video game consoles, leaked sex (video, photos, phone, pastries, etc), quoting memes, social networking, blogs.
Milestones
-Several friends, family passed on.
-Pretty much my entire teenage years.
-Able to vote, buy beer, cigarettes, drive cars, buy movie tickets.
-Graduated from grade school, highschool, and college. (Seems rushed when you put it that way.)
Internet
-Free-use websites like Geocities and Insidetheweb forums disband.
EDIT: TV Tome knee TV.com launched with spinoff sites Gamespot, GameFAQs, Movietome, MP3.com, and others.
-1337 5P33K and MSN-talk replace English on most English-speaking websites. Grammar becomes obsolete.
-OMG.
-Websites like youTube, Wikipedia, and social networking sites pop into existence.
-Encyclopedia Dramatica is formed, much to the dismay of everyone/everything/everywhere.
-Memes.
Music
-Dozens of 90s bands reunite to cash in on old fame. Some from the 80s too.
-The state of Rock & Roll continues to decline; will not pick up until 2015 or later.
-Other genres scrape the barrel. Notable examples are songs about cars, shoes, necklaces, and lip-gloss.

-A handful of 80s action flicks receive sequels.
-Dozens of movies are remade, mostly inferior.
-Tons of popular movie series get reboots. Results may vary.
-Ewe Boll destroys cinema to scam tax-payers. Exception of Postal which is kindof funny.
-James Bond's new official game of chance is Poker, replacing that indecipherable Baccarat.
-Simpsons movie finally came out.
-Every comic book license is bought up and made into a movie.
Video Games
-Consoles like XBOX, GameCube, DS, Wii, PS2, GameBoy Advance, PS3, Xbox 360 hit the market. I have yet to play any of them btw.
-Some games dumbed down for wider mass appeal at the expense of quality. (Lookin' at you Spore..)
-DRM annoys paying customers; pirates let off the hook.
Literature
-4 of the Harry Potter books were released, finishing the series.
-"My Immortal " was posted online, scarring every victim that reads it.
-Also that other series achieved critical acclaim.
Political

-George Bush jr. got elected. Twice. EDIT: Uh, put into office twice. My bad. ![]()
-911 happened.
-Iraq war.
-Saddam Hussein got executed.
-First African-American president, and nearly had female president or female vp.
-Osama bin Laden spent the last 9 years in a cave. Or is dead. Or both?
Celebrities
-Several celebrities died. Michael Jackson is probably the one who got the most attention.

-Vloggers.
-Meme starters.
-Blogs. ... uh, not this one, but famous ones.
Anyways, Happy New Years and Good Luck in the future!
Hi, everyone. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas or whatever you were celebrating. I got a new camera, which I have yet to try out. I also got some X Box games. I lost my first two FIFA games, but I guess you have to learn in everything.
I'm also playing a really offbeat racing title, "Crash Time," where you drive on the Autobahn and try to arrest people who are wanted for crimes. It's harder than it looked in the ad (isn't that a surprise). There is a ton of traffic in front of you, and since you play a police officer, you have to not damage the car or stop the wrong person. The crooks are good at getting away from you. I've played twice so far, and both times wound up getting too much damage on my own car... but that's what practice is for. There are a lot of cases in the game. Hopefully I'll be able to solve some of them soon.
I'm watching a pretty good anime series, "Moonlit Mile," and also got a Japanese car show video. It's been good to relax with some Netflix titles. I hadn't slept in two days at the end of the work week, so I was glad to get some time off. If the weather is good today, I'd like to do some things outdoors as well.
I've been watching a couple new things on TV. There's "Campus PD," which follows all sorts of mayhem at different schools. It's just like "Cops," but they follow the college area police, instead of the city and state ones. It's all right as such. Today I watched part of the "National Parks" series on PBS. It's really well-filmed and makes a good introduction, if you haven't had time to travel to many of them. "Cats 101" isn't so new, but it is very cute and has a lot of good details on the different cat breeds. I also have a bunch of other DVDs to get to. A few of them are movies; some of the rest are Discovery specials.
Okay, that's it for the moment. See you soon. Thanks! ![]()
(This is a picture of the neighbors' house, with the Christmas lights on. The camera was wobbly... which kind of makes it look better!)

Merry Christmas to all and a very Happy New Year!
Hello everybody!....hope the holiday preps are all done and the weather is appro in your area...looks like a white Christmas in my neck of the woods and that's a good thing (green can be depressing when you look out the window on the 25th if you're not used to it.
- Well, the latest season of Survivor just wrapped up and the winner was controversial to fans of the show. Russell should have won but I've been reflecting on it and I will say this. The show's winner is decided by a panel of nine previously voted out people. This may be a bit of a stretch but when an accused individual elects for a jury trial, his lawyer always suggests the defendant be humble before the jury. Russell was NOT humble by any stretch. Was he a master strategist? Absolutely. Was he the biggest reason the season was worth watching? Yep. Did he have a clue in the social side of the game? Nope. If you want people to support you, you have to try to get them on your side even if you loathe them. He never tried that with the majority of the jury and he lost in a landslide.
I did read where Russell set up a web site the day after losing titled, well, I can't give it here cuz it might get censored...![]()
- The latest season of Canada's Worst Driver just ended and the winner Angelina was, well, I'll list what was learned bout her during the season:
- She failed the written test for her driver's licence. The examiner took pity on her and gave her a 4 part multi choice question. Angelina got that wrong her first three guesses and the tester gave up and gave her the licence anyway.
- Angelina doesn't know how to put gas in her car. Every week, the father of her boyfriend comes by and picks up her car to fill it with gas.
- Angelina drives distracted constantly talking on her cell, applying make-up or hairspray and sipping on a drink.
- Angelina's car was revealed to have an expired registration and no working headlights. When the show host pointed it out and refused to let her drive it in a challenge, Angelina called her boyfriend, who was in Indonesia at the time, and asked him to fix it.
- During the season, Angelina failed or quit 22 out of 23 challenges and blamed them all on panic attacks that she has a prescription for but didn't/wouldn't take. She nearly rolled a Silver Shadow Rolls in one challenge, blew tires on two separate cars in consecutive challenges and (this is my fav) when one turn was scary, she closed her eyes and stomped on the gas as the car careened through the course in one challenge.
- The judges asked her to stop driving altogether but she refused categorically. Angelina lives in Sudbury. Ontario, I think, so if you ever are in that area and see a blonde, buxom "26" year old woman driving haphazardly, drive in the other direction...quickly.
- Guide wise here, working away on recaps...subs have settled down....for now. Quite a few shows added to the database here recently though I think the biggest prob here is the quasi MIA editors who won't update their guides on current airing shows. I really think the description for the BadEditor reporting system needs to be expanded to include these name only editors. They make us all look bad by their laziness....
Well, that's bout all....Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to everybody here and here's hoping 2010 is a good year for everybody!
I miss my friend.
You may not believe this but just about every item you all received was thanks to the GS editorial and GS Live Production staff. While the last 5 blogs are deleted to clean up my profile, majority of the items you may recall seeing came from them.
Feel free to use this blog to check in with a huge thanks to them! All of them have contributed in some way, and obviously we wouldn't have had some of them items if it wasn't for publishers and developers continuing to make awesome schwag for their partners and fans. While I might have done the grunt work to packaging, here is our awesome crew worth applauding for their donations!

Last but not least, I wouldn't have been able to do any of the packaging without Charles Harrington's effort to round up boxes, packaging, and tape (difficult to get in the office!).
Feel free to use my blog to post your pics if you have any worth sharing of your game rooms or decorations.
I remember some years ago, they had played the Star Wars Episode 2 movie on one of the first digital projector runs in the country. I remarked to my buddy that we were so close to the screen, that you could see the pixel lines. He then moved back a bunch of rows to watch the rest of the movie.
Fast forward to this year, where we finally went and gone hi-def with a new console. I found it interesting that the 37-inch ones cost as much as the 40-inch ones, as it's considered an unusual size, but the 37 is good for our furniture limitations. The weight is much lighter than the old CRTs, and it's supposedly Energy Star, although I feel like it's a bigger heater than the old one. My dad convinced us to get the 1080p option, which I hear isn't necessary for that size but still nice to have.
After bumping up the cable bill again, I finally got to enjoy hi-def service, and wow, so here's what I've been missing the past few years:
In the anime world, which isn't hi-def yet, I've been watching The Wallflower, which is quite funny given the number of folks I know who love all that New Moon stuff. I also got to see some of One Piece without the 4Kids editing, and there are plenty of others in the queue for the rest of the year.
Needless to say this has increased my television watching dramatically. I found myself watching the series finale episodes of Monk, more CSIs this month than the rest of this past year, and even that AMC remake of The Prisoner, which features Jesus and Gandalf stuck in some town trying to mess with each other, and more WTF moments than Lost. Fear big white balls and mysterious holes.
Question: What shows do you enjoy on hi-def or movies that you would automatically upgrade in your collections?
You know what really yanks my chain?
Lots of things, actually. But my big beef for 2009 is the number of neglected guides sitting under inactive editors. It seems that some people are keener on acquiring guides than they are on looking after them.
It's not a question of being MIA. Editors who simply stop visiting are eventually dismissed under the ReportMIAEditor protocol. Some editors are occasional visitors, not logging on often enough to meet their obligation to consider submissions within seven days, but often enough to avoid sanction. That means unseemly delays while we wait for the approval of submissions, but that's only really inconvenient when a show is currently airing.
Some editors, whether occasional or frequent visitors to the site, seem to have stopped submitting to guides they edit, often on the day they were awarded the editorship. That may be fair enough for guides to old shows that are substantially complete, but there are many guides to currently-airing or recently-ended shows that are in a very sorry state.
I do a lot of credit consolidation work and this prompts me to visit a number of guides each week. A surprising number of recently-added guides to recently-aired shows have no editors. Elsewhere, editors preside over guides to older shows that are no more than skeletons, despite the ready availability of the information needed to knock the guides into shape; guides to currently-airing shows that haven't had an episode guide added in months; plagiarised, mis-spelled and synopsis-free episode guides; guides for which no writer, director or cast have been added since the current editor took over. For good or ill, it has long been the case that the presence of an editor appears to act as a deterrent to potential contributors, many of whom apparently prefer to submit to editorless guides.
The activities of some editors has certainly put me off submitting to guides they edit. Those who reject valid submissions, post or approve plagiarised synopses, add episodes that don't meet the two out of three criterion, add "coming soon" summaries, add show stars but not guests, or just the odd guest, to episodes. I've been holding back from carrying out essential repair work on many of these guides in the hope that someday, TV.com staff would enforce the Problem Editor protocol. It seems that no amount of transgression merits any kind of sanction, however.
Happily, I've just completed the latest phase of work on guides that I edit. I've still to add some production credits to some, and to sort cast and crew lists for others, but I'm happy to let that duty take a back seat while I do grunt work on some of the neglected guides to British shows. Shows like... Can I mention them here? The editors in question know who they are, and which guides I mean. You'll see a lot more in the way of submissions from me from now. Enjoy!
Well for some reason I'm in a mood to blog today. It's been quite awhile that's for sure! I think I noticed it was time to make my profile page all Christmas-y and that just got me in the mood. I did reuse the banner I made 2 years ago though, but I like it so might as well make good use of it!
Quite a bit has happened since last time when I wrote about my best friend's wedding (which was amazing by the way). First off I got a new job. At the old job, someone one position above me (coordinator, so kinda like the boss's assistant) quit and I started doing his job, plus still doing my old job...and was told I'd get the promotion. But then we had layoffs, and got a new president of the company, and were told no raises/promotions for the year. But I was still told that I'd get my promotion, and backpay too. After 4 months of that though I started looking for another job, and somehow very luckily (with help from co-workers) found one! I was very sad to leave though, the old job felt like home, and everyone there was great. It was hard to tell the boss I was leaving! She understood though, and told me to just come back in 6 months when I realize I miss everyone lol.
The new job is going good so far, and I think I'm doing a satisfactory job thus far. It's a bit more boring though, and the it's a smaller department (with all high cubicle walls so it's quiet). Everyone is nice though, and I make a lot more money, so I'm happy. I only say the money makes me happy because the other job paid nothing and I didn't even have enough money for food and rent! I'm still torn about staying in L.A. forever...I miss Ohio and my family and friends. But this is where the work is so I dunno. Christmas is soon though so I'll get to go home and I'm really excited.
TV-wise I like Flash Forward, and for some terrible reason like The Vampire Diaries. I think I have some weird need to keep finding new CW shows to watch so there's always something on that horrible (like horrible but so good at the same time lol) network that I am a fan of. I am kinda getting too old for that stuff though!
Oh but I can't wait for that midseason CW show (Life Unexpected) with Liz from Roswell -- who's a mom now, weird! I am old! I checked out White Collar and it's pretty decent...but no time to watch, especially without cable...too much I'm behind on already! Umm other than that...Dollhouse is gone soon but it wasn't all that great anyway so that's fine, and even Heather Locklear couldn't save the new Melrose Place. Oh well. She's kinda hot still I guess, but I still like my grandma Marg from CSI better.
Also re-falling in love with Sofia Vergara (who was awesome in the terrible show Hot Properties, as was Gail O'Grady) even though I don't watch Modern Family.
I guess that 's enough of an update for now! What is everyone else enjoying (or hating) this TV season? And how's everyone been...hopefully good! I hope everyone enjoys the holidays, and I'll try to blog again before I go back home in a few weeks. Later!
Last night I settled in to watch my favorite Christmas cartoon... How the Grinch Stole Christmas which was being aired by ABC before they aired Shrek the Halls. I have nothing against Shrek, but it's nothing like the pure genius of Dr. Seuss and Chuck Jones (not to mention the priceless narration/voice work of Boris Karloff). Since the Grinch is an older cartoon, it runs longer than the current 30 minute shows. ABC decided to cut parts of it in order to show all the commercials AND have it end by 8:30, so they could show the Shrek cartoon.
Bah humbug!
I'm sure lots of folks didn't even notice, but I've seen that cartoon countless times (I have it on tape as well) and I know exactly what parts were missing - parts of the Grinch's ride into Whoville and his ascent to the top of Mount Crumpit.
Bah humbug!
... yes, I do still exist, I just don't blog anymore.
This morning I stumbled upon a couple of things that got me very excited. Feast your eyes below...
1. So, yesterday we were given the good news that Torchwood looks set to return for a fourth season next year and it seems that John Barrowman (who plays Captain Jack Harkness) has got so excited he's done a little celebratory dance -- to Beyonce's Single Ladies. OK, so maybe it wasn't to celebrate the show's return but it's still pretty darn funny...
2. The Sun reported this morning that Queen musicians Brian May and Roger Taylor are going to perform on The X Factor with the remaining contestants this Sunday. Apparently they're going to play Bohemian Rhapsody while the contestants sing. Oh. My. Days. Much as I dislike the group singing bits, that's going to be amazing, surely? I guess I will tune again after all. Who's with me?
For non us users here is a link to the chat so you can read it.

I dunno who actually reads this anymore. Gone are the days in which 25 comments was a small number for me and we broke 70 frequently. Facebook is just that much better than this I guess.
Anyhow, being the Zelda freak that I am, I'm excited for the new DS game Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6dgiMig8Bk
It looks like it'll turn out really well, and it's been confirmed that the difficulty will be upped from Phantom Hourglass.
This excitement has led me to replay possibly my favorite game ever.

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
Ya ya I know I always say Ocarina of Time is my favorite game ever but come to think of it I haven't played WW for 6 years and if my memories of it are even slightly correct it's the most fun I've ever had with a video game. I sold it a while back along with all my GCN stuff to get a new guitar, but it's only $18 used at Game Stop so I figured I could pick it up and play through it all again.
I recently started to replay Twilight Princess, another fantastic game, but I realized how long it had been since I played Wind Waker and how it had only been about a year and a half since I played TP last. Then the more I thought about it, I remembered that Wind Waker was the better game, so I halted TP after Goron Mines (one of the best dungeons ever) and switched over to Wind Waker.
Also, I've decided my top 3 video games ever:
1. Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
2. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
3. Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Yup..... all LoZ. They're just way too good.
Hey all,
As many of you have probably noticed, I've been away a while. I had some health issues that needed to be tended to and I was off tending to them. I'm okay now, feeling much better. I apologize to everyone for not getting back to them or letting anyone know ahead of time. It all happened kind of quickly. I'm back now and trying to catch up, so if you wouldn't mind taking it easy on me for a bit I would appreciate it. The rest of the staff has done a bang up job covering in my absence and I thank them sincerely. I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of things quickly. Hope this finds everyone well. - Dan
I really want the Beatles Rock Band - but my wife has vetoed the purchase for now - And I Love Her. Next month is my Birthday so it should be A Hard Days Night or more until I get it. I told her You Never Give Your Money. She said if Baby You're a Rich Man, you could Get Back and get it Any Time At All. So unfortunately, I Can't By Me Love right now, until I pay off the Taxman. So, I'll try not to Cry Baby Cry or Twist And Shout and will work on Fixing A Hole in my roof that sprang up again - post Hurricane Ike. Until then I'll feel like I'm a Loser every time I see you guys playing it on Live. Hopefully, I'll get it before When I'm Sixty-Four. But if you're married like me you know how it is - She Said She Said.
Person pages should have titles now, instead of the generic "TV.com" title.
Unchecked "Never Aired" box is the default setting now. This should cut back in the amount of problems we've been having with new episode airdates until a more permanent solution can be pushed. Please report any problems with this.
The Import Cast/Crew feature is still being worked on.
We're aware that the top contributors module is missing from all showspaces now. We're working to get that back ASAP so please be patient.

My
of the Day. Can You Guess Who Does It?Blades of Glory
I’m a lone wolf in a cage
Lost my partner to a lie
Like a bird with broken wings, yeah
It’s impossible to fly
I tried to live for two
But only trust in one
Is there nothing that we can do?
Are we truly done?
Every day we do or die
As we’re sailin’ across the sky
Now we’re comin’ home
On these blades of glory
Settin’ fire to the ice
Is the dream that keeps us alive
Now we’re comin’ home
On these blades of glory
Could this be the end
of our mythic story?
I don’t know what to say
I don’t know where to turn
All I know is if I stay
Ooh this ice it sure can burn
A man who’s scared of truth
Can only trust in lies
A boy who’s scared to dream
Can never touch the sky, oh yeah
Every day we do or die
As we’re sailin’ across the sky
Now we’re comin’ home
On these blades of glory
Settin’ fire to the ice
Is the dream that keeps us alive
Now we’re comin’ home
On these blades of glory
Today is the first chapter
Of our mythic story
We’ll never part
On these blades of glory
And we’ll cross our hearts
On these blades of glory
What do you say
Tonight we celebrate
By going out our way, yeah
O-oo-oh, let’s go all the way, yeah
It’s our calling
Every day we do or die
As we’re sailin’ across the sky
Now we’re comin’ home
On these blades of glory
Settin’ fire to the ice
Is the dream that keeps us alive
Now we’re comin’ home
On these blades of glory
Blades of glory
We’ll go all night
‘Til we finish the story
Now we’re comin’ home
On these blades of glory
The dream is alive
And we’ll never be sorry
Now we’re comin’ home
On these blades of glory
Or
She was more like a beauty queen from a movie scene
I said don't mind, but what do you mean I am the one
Who will dance on the floor in the round
She said I am the one
Who will dance on the floor in the round
She told me her name was Billie Jean as she caused a scene
Then every head turned with eyes that dreamed of being the one
Who will dance on the floor in the round
People always told me be careful what you do
Don't go around breaking young girls' hearts
My mother always told me be careful who you love
Be careful what you do 'cause the lie becomes the truth, yeah
Billie Jean is not my lover
She is just a girl who claims that I am the one
But the kid is not my son
She says I am the one, but the kid is not my son
For forty days and for forty nights the law was on her side
But who can stand when she's in demand, her schemes and her plans
'cause we danced on the floor in the round
So take my strong advice
Just remember to always think twice
Do think twice
She told my baby we danced 'til three And she looked at me, and showed me a photo
My baby cried, his eyes where like mine
Can we dance on the floor in the round
People always told me be careful what you do
Don’t go around breaking young girls’ hearts
But she came and stood right by me
Just to smell her sweet perfume
This happened much too soon
She called me to her room
Billie Jean is not my lover
She is just a girl who claims that I am the one
But the kid is not my son
She says I am the one, but the kid is not my son
Not my son
Billie Jean is not my lover
She is just a girl who claims that I am the one
But the kid is not my son
She says I am the one, but the kid's not my son
Not my son
to listen This is all kinds of music that I am listening to mostly the 70's.

A man walks into a bar and asks the bartender, "If I show you a really good trick, will you give me a free drink?" The bartender considers it, then agrees. The man reaches into his pocket and pulls out a tiny rat. He reaches into his other pocket and pulls out a tiny piano. The rat stretches, cracks his knuckles, and proceeds to play the blues.
After the man finished his drink, he asked the bartender, "If I show you an even better trick, will you give me free drinks for the rest of the evening?" The bartender agrees, thinking that no trick could possibly be better than the first. The man reaches into his pocket and pulls out a tiny rat. He reaches into his other pocket and pulls out a tiny piano. The rat stretches, cracks his knuckles, and proceeds to play the blues. The man reaches into another pocket and pulls out a small bullfrog, who begins to sing along with the rat's music.
While the man is enjoying his beverages, a stranger confronts him and offers him $100,000.00 for the bullfrog. "Sorry," the man replies, "he's not for sale." The stranger increases the offer to $250,000.00 cash up front. "No," he insists, "he's not for sale." The stranger again increases the offer, this time to $500,000.00 cash. The man finally agrees, and turns the frog over to the stranger in exchange for the money.
"Are you insane?" the bartender demanded. "That frog could have been worth millions to you, and you let him go for a mere $500,000!" "Don't worry about it." the man answered. "The frog was really nothing special. You see, the rat's a ventriloquist."
