i took a little break from gamespot to catch up on my games such as cod4.. i recently purchased army of two which you can read my review shortly, and ssb brawl, also a review comming shrorly.. so im back now, i will keep in touch with u guys,

when i first joined this website it was about a year and a half ago, and i was on almost every day. it was great the gs staff, there review, everything. as my favorite system stater comming out i started to like jeff more and more because ge was not as bias to the 360 like alex, or rich, or jason. he gave life and humor to gs which i thought was a great change. however i believe in the 2 or three months gs has not been the same. rich left, which in my opinion was the down fall. games were not properly getting reviewed, videos were not uploading, tournamnet organization was not there ect. im not gunna lie, JEFF WAS MY FAVORITE. and who didnt love him.

IN CLOSING THIS WILL MOST LIKELY BE MY LAST DAY AT GAMESPOT.

i have been noticing lately that gs has not been on point with the reviewing. they did not review it yet for the 360 which is a shock. i do not believe that they are waiting for the ps3 version to come out because they reviewed stranglehold and moh airborne before it came out on the ps3... GS WHATS GOING ON. CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN TO ME. you are suposed to be critics, and journalists REVIEW PLEASE>>>

okay, this is rediculous, i have went on countless game websites and have compared critisism on recent titles such as hellgate, crysis, assassins creed, mass effect, and uncharted. i dont know if they are handing the reviews to the same people, or what. Jeff gersman does the best job in my opinion. I recall Jason Ocampo saying Crysis being one of the greatest shooters ever in his review. ummmno. Mass effect, arguably one of the best titles of the year, this barly made an 8.5. Uncharted, 8.0. GH3 8.0, kane and lynch, 6.0!!!!!! I DONT KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON WITH GAMESPOT, BUT FIX IT SOON

dont get me wrong this game looks fabulous. however he mentioned how it is a console hog, no team element in online, if you dont have the new and perfect computer this game is not even worth it. I am not a computer gamming person, im not bias or anything but it has never really been satifing for me when i play, except for counter strike. I dont know about you guys but my cpu is not the best, and im sure a lot of you guy's are not either. it has been a great run with this game. i have participated in a good handfull of tourny's. i have really pushed this game in the forums, unions, and game fans in general to give ita try. i have played it since day one, and has been my main focuse in terms of gamming. howevr now it is time to focuse on a few other games that show great potential. Call of Duty 4 has been one of my most anticipated games, ever since the subtitle "modern warfare". also i will be competing in future halo 3 tourny's as well

all in all i will truly miss this game, i will still play it a little but not as much as cod4. THANKS INSONIAC, cant wait for rise of man

After getting knocked out in the quarters, i really enjoyed the ride. gamespot is one of the most organized tournaments i have ever played in. i have made some cool friends though this tournament and i will continue to participate in future ones.

i made it to phase three of the resistance fall of man tourny. at first i under etimated my team because their stats were not at my level, however they told me that they made a new account for the tourny oh well assassins in arms, next level, and indivious tactics alpha better watch out cuz we r the real deal....

ok heres the deal with the orange box... you get a tarific deal with practicaly 5 games in 1... however i believe only one of them are worth playing for the serious gamer... going into this purchase i was a little skeptical because i wasnt sure if i was going to get the same satifaction of an fps like, fall of man, or halo 3. however dont be fooled by the graphics or gameplay footage team fortress is great. multiplayer is solid, and like jeff g said it feels like counter strike.. ok portal is very frustrating, with very little replay value... in my book thats a filer for if you get tierd of the other games. half life two is a blast.. i beat the story last night im not going to give anything away but, you feel a little p.o. at the end... half life 2 feels just right, shooting element dilogue, graphics everything.. definately by orange box, even if you have not played the previos games, guess what THEY CAME WITH ORANGE BOX,,,, YAHHHHH, so stop reading this a go by it lol.....

i have been playing halo 3 about 70 percent of the time since i got it. i beat it on legendary on coop and heroic by myself. anyway i have done everything that it has to offer and it has really starting to become boring to me... im sure all the halo fanboys are shooting themselves right now.. but it the truth... people on the forums are saying that they miss the fun of the long saturday nights, with an energy drink in one hand, and a controller in the other.. i know that there are new maps to come out but i dont get that same feeling as halo 2.. im sure someone out there feels the same way i do. anyway i have been playing resistance fall of man a lot. my caln is currently rank 8th in the gamebattles ladder.. i am having a ton of fun with that game. its so competetive and the community is like no other.. i urge anyone who has a ps3 to buy this game if already dont have it... i was considering selling my 360 and halo3 because of the games that sre comming out, i would buy them for the ps3. i really believe i have milked halo for all its worth, for lack of a better term. fanboys dont hate, you will feel the same way soon

I was on the tornament portion of gamespot., and under up coming tourneys i saw fall of man... i am very excited about this because not only is it my favorite game fro the ps3... but this will be the first ps3 tournye... i am thinking about upgrading to the plus suscriber.... if only they would let the general public play but anyway, you will deffinetly see me in that...

last night i was looking through the game-spot game guide i realized that some of the info is a little inaccurate. for instance the skulls effect that they explain are mixed up. the walk throughs that they explain are the most difficult and annyoing way. my advice is to by the prima guide. also i wish they would give you some more detailed xbox live tips.... o well

if you had watched the halo 3 video feature, you would have seen a new face. he seemed pretty comfortable, i guess that was the person to replace rich anyway he will most likely be on on the spot and ttv so we better get used to him
