Am i that old, at 28, that up and coming rock bands are being influenced by ex- members of the Backstreet Boys or those other million boy bands that sound just like them? I really am in the Twilight Zone now. What the hell ever happened to being influenced by The Stones or the Dead? You know, one of the great ones.

The name of this band sounded so cool i thought there was no way i could lose, but there was no edge and it felt like a quick song to meet some deadline. Not much imagination in this one.

I love how the lead singer went on the BBC for an interview, then when asked about the meaning of one of the song titles storms out saying he doesn't like to answer questions. I guess he thought they were going to ask easy questions about where he got the inspiration for his hair style. Two stars for being funny.

I was really surprised when I heard this one, since I thought I was in the jazz section and was expecting trumpets, but some how ran into a sweet acoustic song that had its own twist of influences that are some of my favorites. It makes it even better that he's a former bartender. Without them you could never get drinks.

this sort of sounds like a poppy, punk-rock metalica, however you spell it, that's desperately trying to be taken seriously on some dylan sort of level singing about soldiers after that "do it to me baby" song didn't quite give them the intellectual respect they so deserve. I think they saw that video "One" for the first time recently and got a little inspired.
