This CD is awesome. Evanescence is such a unique sound, and in this case unique is very, very good. Their music, atleast in my opinion, gets more enjoyable every time it is listened to. I find myself liking the tracks of this album much more the 10th time listening than the first. The music is a lot more deep and involving than most of the catchy and flat tunes that get air time these days, so The Open Door requires a little more care and time to really stand out as a great CD. I really appreciate Amy Lee for taking the time off to let her creative juices flow because it definitely shows in her music.
