Guess Who's Back??

After an absence of 3 weeks from this site, I'm really feeling the strain! Ive been in Turkey for a while on holiday but got back a week ago. Just been really busy.

I have a few complaints though. You will not believe the state of the hotel I was staying in. Filthy all over - no towels, no toilet roll, no nothing and they were reluctant to give us anything. But it wasnt just us. Oh no, every English family staying there were ill-treated so as you can imagine, most of the days were spent away from the hotel! To make it worse, a member of staff 'accidentaly' ruined my phone! It was in my pocket when he pushed me into the pool...now the phone will take weeks to get fixed and Im pretty p*ssed about it.

Did you know they dont flush toilet paper in some parts if not all parts of Turkey?

Anyway, in my absence, there's been a plane crash in Madrid, a hurricane in the Carribbean and Gary Glitter has been banned from yet another country!

On the plus side, I started Sixth Form today. For those who dont know, 6th Form is an optional college in England taken after "Grade 5" of high school and after a 13 week break from school due to GCSEs it was strange but exciting...

That's all Folks!

Are you Greek, American or British?

Yes I have another favourite show to add to the ever-expanding list. Now that I have finished my exams and I'm on a long summer break. Imhave all the time in the world to watch new shows and broaden my interests. Currently on the favourite list is the ever popular sitcom Friends - a classic, Scrubs, Family Guy, Lost, Supernatural, Smallville etc. Check my favourites list to see more.

Back to the topic, I must say that I'm really enjoying Greek. After watching the sixth episode, I feel it is just the type of show I need after a tough academic year. To me it is a teen program but it is really a college show for post adolescents. It is a learning curve for me - as I am British so learning about fraternities and sororoties and the Greek system because England is boring with this stuff!

I mean my school only started prom this year. My year was the first to have a prom and it was great. But apart from that, England just dont have as much fun as the U.S. All these teen dramas display parties, hazing and I envy that life. Maybe this is why I dont go out often and I have my TV for company . I'm also into One Tree Hill now after watching a few episodes of Season 3, I'm totally hooked. Again another teen drama! Wow this is a long post!

Post some of your thoughts, please feel free...lool!

One left...

Jumping for joy is the state I was in yesterday when I finished my last GCSE exam for another week. I know it sounds weird but the thing is - I have a whole week to revise one subject - Geograghy...and then it will all be over!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is until Sixth Form in September. But on the bright side, I get 13 weeks for the Summer to do whatever the HELL I want...

I'm so happy for me!!!

A break from leisure...

I am terrible at focusing on something especially on school work but with only a month left, I have to or I'll fail my end of year exams! So I may not be on this site for a while. Or I might slip into my bad habits...Its no use me hearing from people, "It will all be over soon" or "It will all be worth it in the end". Dare I say it, I need a good kick up the backside lool. Anyway, thanks for reading! Give me your thoughts...

My new favourite show!!!

Sorry I havent been keeping up with my blog since Christmas but here is something for 'y'all' to read!

I cannot believe this show has been running for so long and I have only recently started watching it - and its freakin' fantastic. I love it and it clearly trumps a lot of shows that are similar to it. About a month ago on BBC THREE in the UK, I started watching a cartoon one late night and laughed my ass off. Its an animated, slightly-out-there sitcom probably inspired by The Simpsons. If you havent guessed it by now - ITS FAMILY GUY. Stewie is by far the best character in my opinion and Lois' reply's to his mattricidal comments are hilarious and make the best comic duo. Peter and Brian are another comic duo that I love watching and Peter is definetly a more refined version of Homer. The pervish-borderline sick Quagmire is hilarious, the best recurring character there: Awwwww rightttttttt! lool. I just started Season 4 and it just keeps getting better.
