Derek has been a close companion on the Thomas forums since I first came here last year. He had been here a few years more than me, though he didn't treat me like some useless n00b and we soon became close friends. We post on each others blogs every day and usually chat through PM and occasionally on MSN. Despite being from rival countries, we still get on together and don't have any issuses or misunderstandings as we are both Australiasians (Australia, NZ, South Asia)
We have both been through a lot, so that's something that we can relate to and discuss with each other. My one friend is real life doesn't really go through any bullying and can't understand what I've been through, but Derek and I share a bond through our greif and can make it through with each other, unlike some friends who don't understand. Thomas has us talking, and occasionally Pokemon, and our day-to-day lives, which is why Derek is a glowing True Blue Friend!

Amy, one of my energetic friends form across the ditch! 
I started tracking Amy late last year. As what happens on the internet with friends, you usually meet them through someone else and progress your friendship over the months. And, that happened with us. Amy is a very nice and cheery person, that has strong views and lots of energy and humour which she shows in her sometimes powerful, sometimes hiliarious blogs.
She was diagnosed with sepsis earlier this year and was hospitalised, and it was then when I realised how she was a very good friend when I, only with many others, thought that this might be the end. But fortunatley she pulled through, and has proved a great friends since then! We talk more often and post on each others blogs, and she treats everyone with kindness and respect. Even though she has been through lots of stress recently, she is still a great person to be around!

The First True Blue Friends Activities Blog!
Hi guys! Earlier in the year, we decided on some games to play for True Blue Friends. Now, we'll try a few of them out!
PM TREASURE HUNTS!
Everyone seemed to like the idea of this, so we'll go ahead. This game can make new friends, strengthen old friendships and learn Team Work and Co-operation. First of all, put your name down that you want to play. Then, your get paired up with someone: either they are the first to join after you or first to join before you. Then, I'll send your team three clues from OldBlueEngine. You must use PM to work together to agree what the answer is. The clues will be relating to TV.com, so Gamespot members will have to log in to TV.com to play.

This a way to make new friends and learn their interests. If you would like to send someone a gift, then sign up and I will randomly pair you with someone that has signed up as well. In the PM telling you, I will tell you some of that person's interests. Then, you simply find something relating to that and send them a picture or link.
(NOTE: If you sign up to recieve a gift or give a gift, you must be friendly about it. You must check with me before you send your gift by sending it to me on OldBlueEngine, and I won't be pleased if you take a while. To have such a dear friend taken away from us after many months of a friendship is one of the worst things possibly. Vanessa was a bright and bubbly teenage girl who arrived here and made many friends instantly. A few weeks later, she told us about her pregnancy and all of her friends supported her and became the family she had never had.
Over the weeks and months, we all became closer to her. Vanessa treated me and everyone else around her with respect and made us all laugh a lot. She hardly ever caused any problems and still come on even in the later months of her pregnancy. Now, she has commited suicide and has left us forever, but she will always be around us.
Think of this a small funeral for Vanessa, and think of Vanessa. Remember her not for her last action, but for the kind and caring actions she did before then. Think of how abuse and possibly alochol and drugs could have lead to this, and how important true friendships are, as they can really make a lot of difference in your life.

Faye and I have known each other for quite some time and are quite close now. There aren't that many things that we have in common, mainly because she likes scary movies and I petrified of them
But, that doesn't mean we can't be friends. We are both there for one another, and make each other laugh.More recently we have become closer friends. We have been talking to each other for the best part of two months every day! We both look at each other's work, me her videos, and Faye my stories and both like whatever the other has produced.
I hope that we can continue to be friends!
