Reel big fish seemed to opt for a less hardcore ska influence on this, their "first" major label album. This is their most successful albums do to their classic "Sell Out" gaining a lot of air play and a popular music video. If you like ska, you'll enjoy this album very much.

Turn the Radio off was good, but this is their first album to both be professional and ultimately conless. Not much can really be said, its worth your time.

Unlike reel big fish's We're not happy till your not happy, Cheer up, really actually cheers you up. It sings about both the downpours of life and good moments of life. It's really their best effort with Jive Records. If you can find it(i'm sure its going out of print soon)its worth a good ten'r. its back to when the band was having fun, not trying to get their pay check.
8/10 good.

Reel big fish are well known for their upbeat and often aggressive lyrics, but are also known for their charming comedy filled tunes. This album only has aggressiviness even ranging to how they hate the song "Sell Out" cause its their most known song. Aaron Barrets vocal's are sad on this album, they just sound like he was so pissed off he didnt want to sing. There are some good songs but for the most part, this album is a grieve disappointment.

before Reel big fish made the Trademark Turn the radio off album, this was their orginal, punky, orginal album. This album has more of a hardcore punk influence rather then its predicessers, its full of angst, and its pretty much the soundtrack to the adverage teenager. Many of the songs on this album we're rerecorded throughout reel big fish's career such as Beer, Trendy, Skatanic, and ect. But somehow these remain to have the most heart and dedication to music. Its really bizare how far a group can change from band members and unprofessional recording. Its raw, its brilliant, its worth full retail price.
10/10 a mislooked classic.
