Will tomorrow though, promise. Tomorrow morning, my cousin's coming in from Washington and we're going to meet him at the airport at 6! I'm so excited! I haven't seen him in three years. He and my brother have the same name...

I'm here now, that's all matters. So. While I was... as you guys put it, "striking", rofl, what's new? (I'm kinda scared to go see the IY forum...Oh god... o_o
Here's the thing— my best friend's Catholic, and she had to give up anything that even only slightly resembled candy. And I felt bad, 'cause, you know, she's a sugar addict.
So, even thought I'm not Catholic, I thought, why not be a good friend and give something up with her? ... Uhh... yeah. You're supposed to give something up that you really love. For me, it was the computer. x_x I'm surprised I even made it this far. I really couldn't last the entire 40 days. It killed me enough as it is. -snuggles computer- But I'm okay now... 
Ah... who'd have though I'd ever miss this agonizingly bright screen and the super loud keyboard? Well, I now know that I'm never straying away from the computer again. Might as well bring a pillow and a blanket here because I'm not moving. Oh, and btw, all you Catholics out there— congrats. You've got more stamina that me by a billion.

Yeah, almost had a heart attack at the shock I got when I saw that tv.com finally allowed custom icons. 
So I used a Fruits Basket icon. For the time being, that is. It's Akito! Not many people like him, I guess, so I'll be his fan.

Not Inuyasha, not Fruits Basket, but Ouran Host Club! I love this show... it's fun. Umm, if you don't know, it's Kyouya, Tamaki, and Haruhi on the banner. Bits and pieces were taken from different episodes. What it's supposed to be/mean, I don't know. I just basically thought, why not wing it? And there it is.

Just went on there a little earlier. I haven't been on in a while. And I contributed a new show! Another amazing one. It's hilarious, IMO. Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge (a mouthfull...), also called Perfect Girl Evlolution, and The Wallflower. It makes me laugh. I wonder, though... why isn't it one of the shows here on tv.com? Maybe because it's so new... it only came out October of '06. That's probably it...

Okay, sooo... it's the first 2:__ am of the year 2007. We had a 'family gathering' for the countdown and whatever. It was fun. ...and loud.
Oh, this is exciting; my first food of the new year was reeses. Woohoo! 'tis my favorite.
Umm...also, while the adults talked and laughed, my brother, sister, and I watched Monster House! rofl... I find it amusing that we picked a 'scary/creepy' movie as the very first movie of '07... I wonder if it's foreshadowing something? Scary year... but with a happy ending? Or maybe someone'll get covered in cement... umm... yeah.
btw, I noticed a new emblem... What's with the turkey? Maybe I got it on thanksgiving day...but didn't pay attention? Ah well, no use looking back on the past.
Okay. So. About my banner. I had absolutely NO idea what to do. So excuse me if it's stupid, but really, I felt I needed something new, and I hadn't opened paintshop in weeks. Soooo, here it is. It um, had nothing to do with the new year at first, and I redid it like six times, but whatever. It turned out to be 'something-themed' in the end. Hurrah!

It's been a long week...
Well, it's Friday again. Final exams are next week, which means I need to put all the effort I can into this weekend for studying. I'm exempting my math final, but that still leaves 5 others I have to take. Sooo... I'll be here and there this weekend, and then nowhere until friday. Winter break!! Be expecting a lot of me after finals are over.
Hmm..anything else new? Oh, it's almost 2007. Wow.
Snow day!!!
We just got our first snow day in two years! ! Our district is realy stupid, it never lets us out. There's gotta be like six inches of ice and fourteen inches of snow for them to call us off. But it's been slick outside since noon and the ice is getting thicker. The street's covered with it. My poor dad's gotta work the night shift, so it's kind of a hazard for him to drive home...
But we got school off tomorrow! Last time that happened I was in eighth grade. How exciting is this? And it'll be the first snow of the year tomorrow morning when it starts to actually snow.
Woohoo!
I had to shovel the driveway though... No fun at all. My fingers were almost frostbitten...
And since apparently none of my new banners work, I'm forced to put up an old one. Ah well, it's still nice...?

But you know, since I'm not technically American, I don't really "celebrate" it. Ah well. Happy Thanksgiving anyway!
Ski trip!
I'm back from our surprise ski trip... I was caught off guard and picked up from school on Monday, then taken to some resort or whatever and stayed until 6pm yesterday. I learned some really interesting things from that trip!
1. Fake snow is almost as good as real snow! and slipperier. I fell about seven times. ...well, I lost count...
2. Don't jump on resort beds, you'll spring to the cieling. I have a bump on my head the size of a golf ball.
3. Always, and I mean ALWAYS keep an eye on your marshmallow. It burns quickly and when it does, do not try to wave the fire off... You could hit the desk clerk when it flies off the stick. (it landed an inch from his hand. rofl. and it was still smoking)
4. When on a ski lift for the first time, don't look down.
5. Don't try to make friends with the other customers' dogs. They're not always friendly.
6. If you don't know how to ski in the first place, don't try. Not even on the kiddie slope. -rubs thigh and calf- Bruises... You know that old saying, if you fall, get up and try again? Well, in my case, the first time I fell, I should've stayed down instead of trying again those two dozen times...
Anyway, I guess overall it was fun. But since we took time from school, there was like one other person there my age, but she wasn't very talkative. So I was kinda lonely aside from my sister being there. And I missed the computer. It was so sudden, I didn't even get to say goodbye.

Halloween-themed. Hmm... so I can't see it... but maybe it's just me. Anyway, it took less time than I thought it would. It's okay, but I'm not super proud of it or anything.
Trick-or-treating
No, I'm not too old for trick-or-treating... I was raggedy-ann! And we met up with some friends from the neighborhood and got tons of candy! My bag broke though... It's what I get for having a cheapo bag this year.
S'more disaster...
Umm...yeah. So, this year we got home at around 8, and thought, why not make s'mores!? I made and ate only two, then fell asleep in front of the fire for a few minutes...maybe 10 at the most. Om... my face is so red! It's terrible...
But hopefully it'll be better tomorrow. Oh, and tomorrow, I also have a dentists appointment. Yay.

Interesting.. I haven't been on much, and don't ask why. But I'm finally on level 18. It's more surprise than it is excitedness... Umm... hmm... what else, what else...? Oh! I didn't reply to any comments again... I'm getting really bad at that.
Then, next Sunday, I'm going to the dentist. I don't want to go! I know I have at least one cavity, so what's the point of sitting in a lumpy chair while some person shoves their fingers in my mouth just to tell me what I already know? No point, IMO.
By the way, I'm reading a book called Twilight. Has anyone ever read it before? It's really good!
Busy week over! :D ...almost.
It's finally Friday! Since it was the week of homecoming dance, the techers loaded us with homework. But, thankfully, that's all over now. And tomorrow's the dance. I'm so not ready for it. Ah well.
Umm... yeah. My spiel of the day. I'll try to actually reply to the comments on this one this time. Off to chat.
