Most of these are quite common, but I was bored and brought it over from my blog.

1. Donald Duck only ever wears a shirt but when he comes out of the shower he wraps a towel round his waist.
2. On TV people in to sleep with full make-up and supposedly wake up at least 6 hours later looking even better. No smudgage or nowt.
3. When guys find out I play rugby suddenly they think it's alright to grab me and marvel at my lack of bruising, just because I look like I just came out of a Tim Burton stop motion movie.
4. None me those kids on Junior Mastermind never has a 'junior' specialist subject. I seriously want one to come up and know EVERYTHING about Barbie.
5. People don't understand the difference between significant figures and decimal places. And when you try to explain they are adamant that they are right.
6. If you're a girl and like 'boys shows/movies/sports' (delete as appropriate) other girls immediately hate you (perhaps this is because you can relate to their boyfriends better).
7. The name of an educational institution is more important than its quality me teaching. The older the better. Times a changing folks!
Innovation is everything.
8. The choice as x for the main unknown was flawed because it's way too late in the alphabet, and so we descend into Greek letters.
9. Girls tend to play Peter Pan nowadays. Last time I checked Peter was a boy.
10. In Britney's Gimme More video blonde Britney is laughing at Trashy Stripper Britney. So she knows she's screwed up? SORT YOURSELF OUT GIRL!

I don't even remember the person I was before. The last time I posted on this thing was two and a half years ago. Back when I was 15 I did that whole 'hating the world' thing which really pisses me off now. I can see why no one has the patience for teenagers (I'm still one for two and a half years... but I reckon I've grown). The past time that I've been MIA has been due to a really sucky time, dealing with people leaving me, people changing, hell, even me myself changing as a person. I'm glad I've had that though because I don't feel so angsty about having the sucky time. I'm working in a day care centre now, landed a scholarship at a private school so money's not much of a problem anymore. I'm hoping to get into medical school in Autumn (or Fall as you American types like to call it). I'm getting my life sorted. My blog at loveisallalie.blogspot.com (forgive the name, I made it after what in my mind then was a bad break up but now is the biggest blessing to me) pretty much has documented what I've been going through in quite vague terms.

So this is my fresh start. I'm still going to be quite absent because of the battery of exams I have from next week till the end of June, but I won't completely drop out of existence.

ugh... 3rd art exhibition in a week tomorrow night... It's ridiculous... they all want different things... 1st one was Life & Death; 2nd one was New Beginnings(like reconstruction of old buildings et cet) and this one is the Sea... it's totally interactive and it's with like kids with Autism n stuff so it should be fun but i really can't be bothered to do any of the work.. I'm getting lots of credits for it though so i should get at least an A next year.

We don't get A*'s in Year 10.. so we don't get too cocky when it comes to our GCSE's next year.. We haven't done enough work to be A* worthy so even if we get like 100% this year it ain't good enough... meh.
