What happened to the classics? When I was younger I remember Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Pete and Pete, Clarissa Explains It All, and The Secret World of Alex Mack (just to name a few). I always felt like I got a lot out of it, but now the shows seem pointless and silly. For example, Zoey 101  is just annoying, it's a really bad depiction of middle school . It's misleading and I think kids are expecting more and more of life and ending up with less and less.

I also want to know what happened to all the good cartoons. Rocko's Modern Life was always my favorite, although it was pointless, but the new ones are awful. Catscratch, I couldn't even make it through fifteen minutes. What's the point?

Maybe I'm just getting too old, or maybe I'm right. It's so much different than I remember.
