Apparently I've been tagged, and that means that I have to share 5 things about me.
Here it goes:

• My top 5 favorite shows at the moment are, "in no particular order": Lost, House, Bones, Grey's Anatomy and Boston Legal.
• I hate reading spoilers!
  
• My hubby and I like to wait until the DVD releases of 24 and Prison Break (usually Christmas time) to watch the shows!
  
• I love to travel and do so as much and as often as I can!
  
• My favorite color is green

 According to this month’s Sky Magazine, a lot of my FAVORITE shows’ new seasons are FINALLY here:

BOSTON LEGAL on Feb. 8th, LOST on the 11th and BONES on the 15th!!!
Oh, What a FANTASTIC month to watch TV!!


I’m also looking forward to the new show, "Heroes" on Feb. 19th, since I’m curious to see how much of this show is based on the original concept of Sci-Fi series like the 4400 and Mutant X. We’ll see…

And finally, this month will end on a high note with THE OSCARS on Feb. the 25th !!!

Exciting TV Month, isn’t it?

I promise not to let “the overwhelming number of responses” that my previous entries have generated go into my head!
However, I must admit that it’s going to be hard… you know, with all the fans and all, but I’ll do my best to keep it real… -
Oh, I know…that was a lame and pathetic way to cheer myself up.. Ha! Ha!

I’ve been sick so I’ve had the perfect excuse to indulge myself in a few “guilty pleasures” such as watching CBB daily, getting acquainted with new series such as Jericho and enjoying episodes from Bones, House and 24! So, it hasn’t been that bad at all! Plus, I’ve had a blast sharing comments in the CBB site, especially with all the ups and downs that the show has had this year!--

The biggest surprise was getting to “know” Jermaine Jackson and Dirk Benedict- The A-Team’s Face- through the show! They are such great characters! The Face reminds me of a grumpy version of Richard Dean Anderson (equally sexy, by the way) and Jermaine Jackson has proven to be the sanest, wisest and most balance person in the house…I know… !!! But it’s true!! The guy is simply amazing!

I am completely disappointed by the whole “Jade Eviction Charade” yesterday night. I was so naïve in thinking that given the International Publicity; Jade was going to be properly confronted with her outrageous behaviour inside the house… What a joke!
I am so upset that, once again, all the media backlash will simply turn around and as if nothing serious had happened, Jade will continue to get wealthier by the minute…
No wonder so many children want to be famous just for being famous when they grow up. Jade has proven that she can do pretty much whatever she pleases and still make a good profit. I wonder, how long it would take for her to print a second “more successful” book, and for her perfume to go back to the shelves with a “higher” price tag...
I know I sound bitter but I am terribly upset by the whole thing...

Well, I’m officially joining the community of “bloggers” for the first time! I guess is good therapy to post ones thoughts somewhere… right? -----
Let’s see, I started to watch Celebrity Big Brother UK this year. Although I was never much of a “Reality Show” kind of person, I found it quite interesting to see how people reacted when “trapped” with complete strangers in not the best of circumstances. From watching the show it amazed me, how similar people are in spite of political boundaries. I guess in a way, shows like this allows us to see as Jermanine Jackson pointed out, “ourselves in the mirror”. There you find people that in a way represent what’s good and not so good with our world… I know it may be “stretching it”, but I honestly believe that one can learn a lesson from pretty much anything, even a “dim” show like CBB. -----
Sadly, the show’s latest bullying and obvious racism have escalated to a point that I can no longer tolerate. Unfortunately, our “reflection in the mirror” is not what I would like it to be…the reality of our ignorance and behaviour, continues to hit me hard…
So who knows, maybe a “light” show like this one is not “so light” after all if at least, it makes us acknowledge the shameful issues that we, as a society, continue to struggle with…
