Ok...seems conquering the world, not as easy as I assumed. So if anybody reading this is you know, a world superpower or is in a powerful political position, gimme a call. While I wait for that phone call I'm going to be doing yoga.

Yes, I started yoga again and I cannot tell you how much better I feel after just one session. For those of you stressed out and the like, seriously consider getting into it. Plus if you're an athlete like me it helps make training a lot easier.

I have been, almost officially, promoted! But before anyone gets too excited it's just from assistant to assistant to a slightly more important lawyer. And also I feel obligated to mention this promotion had nothing to do with me being a dedicated worker it was simply because there are no other assistants who have the time. In fact just to prove how non-dedicated I really am, note that I'm updating a blog...at work. But shh...don't tell...

But I feel if I somehow make sure these other assistants manage to stay busy I'll be CEO by next Friday. At which time I'll be watching Battlestar Galactica on the couch. It's my latest obsession, I've already preordered Season One on DVD, I have all the episoded on tape and I'm wondering how I would look with Number Six's platinum do.

So I asked the boss to cut back my hours since field hockey is starting back up and I can't do both at once. Grail, I'm a part time assistant at a law firm, I'm basically a paid intern. Not a fun job but I need it for the experience. But since I'm not working as much I'll get to be online a lot more, which is great obviously. I'm looking forward to being mixed up in the witty batter once more.

So those of you crazy college kids who thought, 'Well hey, that's it I am done with school, it's all smooth sailing from here.' Well, you were wrong, and I mean really wrong. So it's my first week at work and I cannot believe how much work I actually have to do. It's exhausting! And sure, money is quite a motivator but working a 45 hour work week your first week is just not fun. Plus it's not like college where your professors will allow you extensions, or you make up a bad grade by doing well on your next paper. Anyway all you college kids, be prepared, because it's easy and it's not a time you can lay back. But it is pretty fun, most of the time.
