I'm supposed to be giving blood as a group thing at work, but that was first organised months ago and I'm still waiting to hear if it is going forward. I hate needles and haven't had one for years, so I'm a little scared. There, I admitted it. But it's for a good cause.

Sean. THat is awesome. I think everybody should give blood. I have a horror about needles so much so that I faint 3 out of every 4 times but I still give blood. I have AB- blood. What kind to you have. I have to donate my own for surgery because they never have my kind unless I have donated recently. You are such an awesome person. I wuv you!!

I can't give blood because I got a new tattoo in the last year...

@kellymae - Thanks Kelly! I wuv you too! I am A positive. Mine is a little more common. I am on a listing to give our business lawyers partner bone marrow. I heard it was painful, but he needs it to fight cancer. I am not sure if I am an eligiable candidate tho......

@polsci1503 - At this blood center, they only asked me if I had recieved one in the last 3 months.... maybe its different on the islands, who knows.

@10below - Of course! Thats the best part! They spare no expence on the kinds of cookies too! All the best ones! It was quite a spread.

Giving blood's awesome. While I haven't personally done it yet, you can apparently make a decent amount of money for doing it. My dad paid for my entire real life drum set by giving blood.

It is really nice of you. I hope I can give blood, but I can't cause of a medical condition.

I don't think I'll ever be able to give blood. I get lightheaded real easy.
