Emotive is a fairly decent album. I do not know why everybody hates it so much. They basically portrayed the songs in their true nature. The songs are about dark issues and that is what they are trying to convey with Emotive. Having said that though, the best songs on the album are the original ones, such as "Passive" and "Counting Sheep Like Bodies to the Rhythm of the War Drums". Overall, Emotive is a good listen but it lacks the initiative and energy that normally drives A Perfect Circle forward.

I never knew that Mike Shinoda was working on a side project until a few weeks ago, but so far it has turned out really well. Fort Minor is definitely going to be the new wave in the rap/hip hop industry. It's a mix of awesome beats with well thought out lyrics and vocals that seem to blend together effortlessly. For those who are a fan of Linkin Park, but aren't a fan of the rap/hip hop genre, will appreciate the work that Mike has put into the making of their debut release, 'The Risind Tied'. He wrote every track and played almost every instrument that is heard on the album. 'The Rising Tied' is a symnol of hard work and determination and the songs are just a reflection of that.

I have been a fan of 3 Doors down ever since I heard the song 'Kryptonite'. They are a very good band and they have endured the tides that has overwhelmed similar bands. Although I thought that 'Seventeen Days' was a bit disappointing, I still saw the talent and ambitions behind the music. 3 Doors Down are underappreciated and still have a lot more in them to continue on in the music industry. The only real disappointment is the fact that they have not released a song with the same vibe and energy of 'Kryptonite' since the release of 'The Better Life'.

Staind is a very talented band, there is no disbuting that, but great bands are created by the diversity of their music. Staind in their latest release 'V' deliver the same formula that made them big. But it's simply too safe and too predictable, so much predictable, that you might mistake 'V' for the rest of the other albums that they have released. Simply put, Staind is a good band for those fans who love to hear the same thing over and over again.
