After 3 years with the same avatar im finaly changing it

SO E3 has come and gone, and it brought pwnership and ownage left and right to pretty much everyone. (all except for Nintendo boys I know cheap shot). As alway, sorry for any spelling errors.

So lets start with what could have been the bigest ownage of all time for the 360 camp, FFXIII.
Yes, we whoare rooting for the PS3 got owned, but not that hard. People need to sit back and look back. FF7-9 wasn't exclusive to the PS, they where all released for PC also and with SE throwing FF all over the place the past 8 years it shouldn't be muchTHAT big of a surprise. Yeah it hurt, but I think this will go the way of MGS2 on PC and Xbox. Which is nowhere. Sure the fanboys scream and will buy the game out of spite, but in the end JRPG's don't sell well on the 360. Now don't quote me on thi, but I don't think any JRPG has sold more the 500k on the system, sure its not bad but its not great and it's not reason enough to make another game when they could maybe sell 1 mill on what people expect to be JRPG home, which is the Playstation. But it could just end up being the same profit since its harder to develop for the PS3 :S
Guess this is why they call it a blog, I can rant around as much as I like Unlike those "nice" people on system wars who feel that their blogs should be put into a Thread and take up space.
Anyway, I don't think people are able to see JRPG's on anything other then the PS3 and somewhat the Wii yet. Simply because they have played their JRPG's on PS brand for 15 years and people don't like breaking their habits, even if it costs abit more. This is basic psychology, go to school and learn something

Of to the next one. KZ2 vs. GeOW2
Call me a fangirl all you want, but gears doesn't look as great as KZ2 in motion or in stills. Sure Marcus looks better then ever befor, but the movement of the game is nopwhere near the level of KZ2. When people dying its a mix of ragdoll and mo-cap, that has never been done before.
Now don't get me wrong, GeOW2 will be a great game. But so was GeOW, so the bar is already up there. Where as Killzone 1 wasn't very well recived to say the least (I liked it though), so the bar for KZ2 isn't as high, though its pretty high because of their target CGI vid (stupid...).
But yeah, KZ2 looks better and is technicaly above GeOW2 with rendering, mo-cap etc. But both games will be good, what game will ge great I don't know. I'll be playing them both and let my axe of judicial heavy metal fall on their necks!

Nintendos conferance sucked monkey, nothing more to say other then I havn't liked nintendo since they started raping Mario, Zelda and the rest of their poor guys :'( WHY WON*T ANYONE STOP THEM FROM DOING SUCH THINGS TO MARIOS ARSE!??!?!
Zelda is crycing in a corner and princess peach is on crack :'(

Now for a hot topic, copying other people
Nintyboys scream, Sony boys scream and 360 boys screeam the same : "you copyed us!!!!"
Yeah well guess what, one person inovates, if people like it it becomes a standar to have it or something similar. It is THAT simple. Think Gibson went "HEY ms.Ibanez, we have strings on our guitars so you can't have any on yours!" ? yeah, that wouldn't work now would it? Or if Asus said to MSI " now we have a PCI-E slot on our mobos, so now you have to do something else", and over at Nvidia and ATI they would go "what, they have made 10 different GFX card slot standars? I think I just craped my pants".
So, what I say is this " thank you MS for the Achivments system, thanks Nintendo for bringing back the analog stick(yes bringing it back), thanks Sony for driving new disc formats and bringing gaming to the people.

Enjoy my little ones

Almost a year have passed since the launch of the PS3 here in Norway at a blazing price of $920.

This year has been great with it. My little HD darling of gaming.
I've bought 7 PS3 disc games and 6-7 PSN games. Some I have liked better then others. Calling all cars was in my opinion a wast of time. The biggest miss I did was probably buying Enchanted Arms, I had a review of it but it got deleted by the Admins and got me baned, You can guess what I thought about it then ;p

The probably best buy I did was COD4. This game just keeps ticking in me.

One thing I have noticed latly is that the fanboys have gotten all frantic on all sides. 360 fanboys are getting nervous of losing ground to the PS3, The ps3 fanboys are getting all cocky and don't know how to handle it, the Wii fanboys are screaming that they toohave great hardcore games and the hermits are turning their heads at every console game saying it would be ten times better if it was for Pc.

Well, new update on my gaming front. And my boobs
I now have 3 games I want to play on the 360.
And those games are as follows: GeOW, Bullet Witch and Lost Planet.
BUT im still getting the PS3 first, it is to be my main console. Then I'll get the 360 as my secondary system

Other things? Well im a bit pissed at how much weight people put on scores on consoles and games. It just pisses me off that people can't make up their own opinions. This is look towords R:FOM getting a 8.6, so what? I bet its a kick ass game that will play realy well.

I know I havn't been to open about the 360 in the past, but I'll get my act together since I look at myself as a gamer and not a console fangirl. I just wish there were more people like that who cared more about the games then the consoles. There is nothing wrong with liking a console more then the other, but it should be because that it has the games you want to play and not just out of spite.

Then there is that little thing about fanboys. They MAKE people hate their console with all the overhyping. If 360/PS3 fanboys where a little bit more humble then maybe there wouldn't be so much hating going around.

And that is probably the only fact about there is in system wars.

And with this in mind the most sucssesfull console this gen was the GC
with its massive 5 billion dollar profit at the end of 2005. With the
PS2 behind at over 2 billion dollars profit and the Xbox at 3rd with a
loss of over 4 billion dollars.

Now these numbers are old, but they do tell us alot if you look at them the right way.

Thought both the PS3 and the 360 are sold at a loss of 200 dollars
each, the 360 is the only one who has to make back the 4 billion MS
lost on the original Xbox. And to be honest, its not very likly for the
360 to sell that many consoles and games to make up that in just the
next gen. Even if it sells as good as the PS2 did, its still a costly
console to make and it will take time for production costs to go down
that mutch. So lets say it sell as good as the PS2,though very
unlikely, it still would only have made up for 50-60% of the Xbox
project's loss.

The PS3 has to sell good too to cover the R&D expenses, but with
its popularity from last 2 gens  it will sell good despite the price
and will most probably not be in the red at the end of the next gen.
This because they will have more income options this time around with
the online, BR licens, the continuing PS2 game and console sales.

But the one that will be making the realy big bucks is most likely
Nintendo. Their console doesn't cost to mutch, don't know if the are
even selling it at a loss like the PS3 and the 360. And with their
handhelds they will get payed.

They won't have as high revenue, but they will have the highest profit.



Sumary of the wall of text:

360: won't be making a profit either way.

PS3: If things go very well, they moght get some profit but not close to what hte PS2 had.

Wii: Will be roling in do.

Just need to get some frustartion out.
There are so many F****** tech nerds here on GS. All thinking they know better, turning every thread into "oh that thing got 5 Mhz more then that thing" and shait like that. Lashing out at anyone, insulting anyone. I just wish I could be a mod for one day.
I would ban the very lot of em.

Like ths debate about Crysis woring on DX9, and after a few posts the tech freaks come in and starts talking about this and that card being better then the other, screaming nanometers at eachother. Then I post that they should get back on topic and I get a "you are a retard remark back at me. I know I could just alert the mods right away, but I don't like calling the cops on just anything, so I answerd  his reply in the same fasion but he kept coming.

This is truly an interesting topic that people have been talking about for years, ever since the first games WITH grafics game out.
But imo good grafics = good gameplay.
With just the one you just end up with a mediocre game.
Alot might dissagree with me on this one, but as always i am right (sarcasm included in this blog)

Lets start with grafics. What makes good grafics? What is gameplay?

Grafics

Good texture
Good physics (realistic movement of carracters and objects)
Good interface
Good mesh design (interior of the game world. Trees, cars etc.)
Good effects (lighting, water etc.)
Good framerate
Good charracter design

 Gameplay

Good storyline (if storyline is needed.)
Good charracters that gamers can identefy with.
Easy to navigate menus.
Responsive controls.
Few bugs.
Good AI.

Then you have other categorys that doesn't realy land under either grafics or gameplay, and that is sound.

Sound

Good ambient sound
Good background music
Good themes
Good voice acting

BUT

Then you have that little thing that everything under both Grafics and Sound is a big part in creating good gameplay.
But that must mean that Grafics and sound = Gameplay?

They will probably delete this too and ban my AGAIN, but...
WHy do the GS mods have to be such uptight controlfreaks?
Yes im pissed at you guys for deleting my last blog that took me and hour to write? Just cause I used a naughty word? Like there is any one on this board that doesn't know every single english dirty word.

I see this as a real problem that people get baned for being honest about theire feelings. Sure alot of people just simply flame people in the forum and they should be punised for it, but deleting e personal blog just cause they used a dirty word? And by this I mean the blog you deleted that was mine. Sure I used the F word but I wasn't attacking a specific person when using it and there for it was uncalled for the deleting of the entire blog.
This kind of attitude towards people's freedom of speach is making this forum a sucky place to be and generaly creating an overall bad feel on the board.
I realy hope on of you mods read this, I guess someone of you will since ity seems I am on your black list of "naughty people".
And then you are probably going to delete it too, just proving me right. But that will be too late cause other people will have read it by then, proving to them that I am right.

Thought I would start with telling you about a new super great Japanese girl band calles Hinoi Team. I just stombled over them on the net and I thought they where just so cute, sexy and fun I just had to take them into my heart (got a weak heart for Japanese girls *gigle*) The music is mutch like the house party music that ruled Europ in the '90s, mixed with a big Japanese wrestler Please check them out, there are alot of videos of them on YouTube, you got to see the videos first And then you can comment on who you thought looked best

Should probably start making this about games now befor a mod comes and sticks a permanent ban on me

Well the last few days I been using to find old PSX games on torrents and I got alot of goodies Anyone remember WIldarms? Legend Of Mana? Diablo(yes it was for the PSX)? Tombi 1 and 2? The only problem is that since im in europ I got a PAL PSX and though its modded and can play American games and japanese games they are all in black and white if the games where not in PAL I know that they can be patched and stuff, I just need to learn that stuff first, but I got a game bundle comming down with around 10 games all in PAL(I hope).

Further on, i've also been playing C&C Tiberian Sun, wich kicks ass. I love the c&c story line, alot better then the red alert story. Thought the first Red alert story line was pretty cool with stalin and stuff, seemed very realistick. For those of you who havn't thought about it that might have happened if Hitler didn't come to power(if we hade a choice it would be like picking either plague or malaria).
ANYWAY, can't wait till C&C3 comes out, though I hope they port it to the PS3, cause I don't know when I'll be able to afford a new pc
Also i've been playing Warcraft 3 and Warlords Battlecry 3, they didn't quite do it for me. I love the consept of having a hero that you can bring along into different battles, level up and learn new abilitys, but they just didn't do it very well i thought. Wish they would implement that in the heroes of might and magic games, **** love those games. The best one from the serie is Heroes 3 by far. number 4 sucked monkey and number 5 was also abit crap with the 3d grafics, I just can't stand that type of grafics, same stuff used in WoW. ITS CRAP! GET IT THROUGH YOUR SKULLS YOU **** DEVS!!!

Anyway Im happy so many are on my friends list, 14 at the time this is writened

And last I thought I would talk about the greatest band in the world, Megadeth. If you havn't heard of it, then go buy a cd or download some of their stuff. It is trash/heavy metal.
They got a new record out this halloween and im almost peeing myself by the thought of it. I so exited(don't realy know if im writing that word correctly) I don't know what foot to stand on, so im sitting in sted
