Well guys.
Telus lately, ever since they started charging for incoming texts, has been one big fail.
Incoming texts are delayed by up to 5 hours (For me at least.)
And I want to throw my phone at the wall.
I quite love my phone. But. ARGH.
So, I'm looking at other providers.
So far, (keep in mind, I'm Canadian.) I've looked at Rogers and Fido. I'm not aware of any other providers other than Bell, Telus, Rogers and Fido.
Well. My family has some very intense problems with Bell. We've had multiple shortlasting phones with them, and not-so-great customer service from them. And their service was so terrible. When I had my Razr with them, I couldn't use the phone inside buildings because the walls would block the service.
Read above for the terrible Telus service. But it's not just me, my friends with Telus are having similar problems.
Rogers I've heard is really good. But they don't have unlimited text on Pay As You Go, which is pretty much the only feature I care about. (And an attractive easy to use phone.)
My friend recently got a Fido phone. She has a prepaid whatsit. (I'm not sure what the difference between that and a Pay As You Go is?)
I think the only one's left are...Verizon, Virgin and Koodo.
I still need to browse through their options.
But, does anyone know about Koodo? I think it's international. But they seem like some kind of joke phone company. I don't really thing they have any kind of serious business running skills. But that's just what I picked up from those commercials...
Anyway. If anyone knows any good phone companies available in Canada, I'd love to know about them. :)
