Wow 3 blogs in a month! How lucky you guys are!

So my environmental science teacher showed us some really cool things in class yesterday She says the planets are in such an arrangement, that our gravity is off a little. Meaning? You can stand brooms and eggs on end! It sounds really stupid, but it looks really cool Kind of makes you feel dizzy after awhile though But you have to try it!!! I took some pics just now so you can see it It takes a bit to get the egg and broom balanced, but keep at it and you'll see

But be warned: if you want to try this, you'd better try it now because once this is over in a day or so, then it won't happen again for another 90 years Well, the egg thing happens once a year for a few minutes because of an equinox, but that doesn't count

Long time no blog! Yeah.....

Well, things have certainly taken an unexpected turn in my life....so much has happened lately, that it feels like the past few weeks have occurred over the course of a year!

Hmm...I really don't know where to begin

Well, I'll start with Logan I mentioned him in my previous blog. He was the senior who gave me the "unwanted attention" because of the skirt I was just beginning to know him at that point. Well, things between us have certainly progressed since then. We started off by just talking on the bus and in the mornings before the bell rang. Now, we talk every night for 1-2 hours , and he's become a very close friend Sometimes it feels like I've known him all my life... Anywho, he gave me his phone number on impulse just 3 weeks ago. Our very first phone call actually started off by him saying he didn't know why he gave me his number

Logan is actually a good friend of my sister's boyfriend. Logan talked to him about me, and he would then tell Lindsay, who would tell me Well, through them, I found out why Logan gave me his number: he liked me "like like" I mean And I sort of like him too He actually sort of asked me out last night....well, not technically. We played truth or dare, and he asked me what I thought about us going out eventually. Then I asked him the same thing His answer was so sweet! I won't tell you guys though That's my secret We're not going out now, but we might in the near future I'm not sure yet.... Too much has happened these past few months, and I don't want to get hurt again But I think this is worth the risk We'll see...

Oh I wish I could share all our conversations and stories with you! But, that would take forever I might tell some later because they're just too funny, but not now I will say one though: a few weeks ago, he walked by me to go down the stairs. I waved at him, and he turned back around to wave at me. In doing so, he failed to hold the door open as he walked through, and he ended up running into the door I now call him doorstop But he calls me cupcake All because I told him a humiliating story about the time when I met Dan (my sister's boyfriend) I wore really bright pink gloves, a sweater, a hat, a shirt, and socks, and Logan said it reminded him of a cupcake So now he calls me cupcake Grr....

Oh! Also, a week ago today, he took me out exploring some nature trails he helped create It was one of the best night's of my life Except when I irritated him....big mistake He got attacked by squirrels once, so when I saw a squirrel above us, I told him to look out and run before it threw its nuts at him Logan told me to stop or he would throw me in the creek. I told him he wouldn't dare, and that he couldn't lift me. He asked if that was a challenge, and I jokingly said yes. So he picked me up, and tried to throw me in the creek! Grr.... I didn't know until after that that he was a weight lifting champion for his age group

Okay, moving away from Logan I turned 18 this past Sunday I'M AN ADULT!!!!!! It was a quiet birthday, but fun We went out to eat at Steak n Shake, and then went to the Halloween thingy at the zoo I had a ball And 2 days later, because I was 18 now, I got my first bank account It was very boring, but oh well My mom made me

On Monday, I went to a program at Purdue University called Women in Engineering I was super excited, and had a ball I checked out environmental engineering, and I really enjoyed it I'm thinking about it for a career, but I'm still torn between environmental science too....

Speaking of which, I went to the Indiana Sand Dunes on Wednesday Such a busy week! I got to school, and we left from there, and didn't get back until 6pm It was loads of fun! But it was a 3.5 hour bus ride there! Jeez! It was fun though I was on the bus with my friends, so we had fun and kept busy I took over 100 pics at the Dunes, so I'll try to upload some when I have time They're really very cool Except for the part where I got a sandbox in my shoes So much sand!

Well, I think this is enough for today I have many more stories to tell, but this blog is too long already Kudos to those who read it!

EDIT: I forgot to mention that Swine Flu (H1N1) has officially hit my school this week 150 kids were said to have called in this week. That's counting those who probably took advantage of the situation and said they were sick just to get out of school Among the many Swine Flu victims is Logan He was sent home this morning with a very mild case of it And I hung out with him a lot this morning too....hmm....I wonder when I'll get it???

Gosh, so much has happened this month! I miss all you guys from tv.com Truly I do I miss the good old days when everything seemed right in the world Nothing to worry about but homework *sigh* I'm not even 18 yet and I'm already wishing for the "old days"

As you all know, my good friend Cassie died last week of cancer I went to her funeral on Thursday to say goodbye I drove 4 other people so it wasn't as bad as it could have been We were all there to support and console each other...knowing Cassie wouldn't want us to be sad and upset, we did the best we could to make each other laugh We did a pretty good job So many old memories to share.... Most of the people I drove lost touch with me for a year or so It was great to catch up and become good friends again I know that's what Cassie always wanted...

That day, I dressed up and wore a skirt for the first time since my uncle's wedding 5 years ago or so... Many kids at school have never seen me out of a sweatshirt and jeans I didn't want to wear the skirt at school, but I always used to joke to Cassie that the day I wore a skirt to school would be the day the world flipped upside down She always laughed at me and said she would laugh and make fun of me if I ever wore one to school. So, in her honor, I wore the skirt to school so she could get her laugh in Heaven

Unfortunately, that also brought lots of unwanted attention to me My friends and I used to call my ex-boyfriend a parasite because he was always around me and would never leave me alone. Now, I have 4 parasites: 2 freshman, a senior, and my ex Now Cassie is really getting a good laugh up there

The senior I don't mind though I met him a few weeks ago while we were waiting for the bus. We got talking, and found out we both have a common interest in nature and trees Since then, he'd find me in the morning, and show me rare tree leaves and tell me stories of hiking he used to do He's really very sweet

I'm still having issues with my environmental science teacher I think her life ambition right now is to make my life miserable She's doing a great job too That class is kind of ruining my dream career, but I'm trying not to let it happen because I know she just feels threatened by me She doesn't have a degree to teach that class She's allowed to teach it because she took one class that pertained to the subject I think she's afraid I could take her job one day... The great part of that class is that I'm going to the Indiana Sand Dunes on October 21st I'm really excited about it I'll take lots of pictures to share with you guys

Well, this is where I shall stop for now. That's not all that happened this past month, but it's the gist of it. Really, nothing about my life has been normal lately In just 2 months, everything has changed......and here I thought change was gradual HAH!

One of my good friends died yesterday In a way, it was sort of a relief..... Cassie has been battling cancer for over 4 years now.... She went into a coma a few month ago, and she never woke up She will be greatly missed

It's like one of my friends said: if anyone deserves to be an angel, it's Cassie
