Beauty & The Beast memories...
You'd never know it, but I have a soft spot for that once wonderful show that ran on CBS long ago. The one about Catherine Chandler, Assistant DA, and her poetic cat-man with whom she loved a lifetime, before her time. Yes, Beauty & The Beastis the show I speak of. Being an admirer of Linda Hamilton, it's hardly suprising, no? Well, it was a great show, at first. I must stress that the demise of Hamiltons' Catherine was sick! I have never enjoyed the fact that the character was kiddnapped, and taken hostage for 9 months, until she gave birth to a child that was of both she and Vincent, the Beast. Once this happened, her captor had her killed. I really don't know all the details, as I never saw the episode. I was not in the know of the program by the time the dreadful season 3 opener aired. I heard Linda Hamilton was not to be around for the third year, so I split. I never knew about the demise of her character until years later.Talk about what you were better off not knowing...
Anyhow, the first two seasons are availible on DVD now, and I own them both, proudly.
