Every year good television programs get axed while more copycat reality shows emerge. Why? The reality shows get good ratings?  Who are these people with the nielson boxes, are they zombies? If  you have seen one of those shows you have seen all of them! There too many reality shows to critique each one,  I will just give you some examples: Rockstar:Supernova was basically rigged, they knew who they would pick the whole time, whats the point of this show then? American Idol, a popularity contest instead of who is the most talented. Survivor, they like to say who ever outwitts, outplays and outlasts will win, but that is not true. The person who wins Survivor every time is the person who made a alliance with the person who did all of those things. They vote based on who hurt their feelings instead of who deserves to win the game. I could go on and on.

Meanwhile, shows like Invasion, where you had no idea what would happen next.....( it had special effects, suspense and creativity) or Everwood, where you need a kleenex box at your side every week because the stories and actors touch your heart, these shows, the quality shows, get cancelled. I keep hoping that this era of reality television is just a fad and it will go away soon. I hope that streamlining the new programs online will help draw more audiences back, or at least better represent those of us without nielson boxes like myself, that do not feel represented.
