My Top 5 Actors On The CW
While the CW is hardly the best network, it does have a few talented actors that are rarely given praise because they are on a teen network. I have only included actors that are currently on the CW, so brilliant actors like John Glover, Michael Rosenbaum and (especially) Kristen Bell are not on the list because they aren't currently acting on any CW shows. Even though Kristen Bell is the voice of GG, I can't really count her. Anyway...

5. Ed Westwick

From: Gossip Girl
Probably the only of the younger male castmembers on Gossip Girl with any acting ability, he has been great on the show the beginning. With more screentime and a chance to show more sides of Chuck, he has only gotten better in season two. I can definitely see why the character is as popular as he is!
4/3. Blake Lively and Leighton Meester

From: Gossip Girl
I did not even try to choose between them - both are the main reasons to tune into Gossip Girl. Leighton Meester is wonderful as one of the most complex characters on a teen show, and Blake Lively has shown that she has real acting talent too.
2. Jensen Ackles

From: Supernatural
Jensen Ackles has always been the main reason to watch Supernatural. He is great at both comedy and drama, and continues to improve with each season that passes by.
1. Allison Mack

From: Smallville
The main reason I continue to watch Smallville. Allison Mack is excellent even when the material is not (which is pretty regularly). Episodes such as Freak and Tomb show what a great actress she is. I look forward to seeing her in more roles in the future.

I agree with everything you said about Allison Mack. Chloe has been the reason I've been watching Smallville for the past couple years (okay Chloe and the Luthors). I wish they could give her a spin-off, so I could dump Smallville forever.

Am I reading this correctly, the words best actor followed by The CW? I'm all for giving credit where credit is due but wow...other then maybe Allison Mack you've totally lost me.

I really like Allison Mack & Jensen Ackles To be honest I like the characters from Gossip Girl; but I'm not really keen on the actors/actresses that play them! As I'm not in America I don't really know what other shows are on CW to suggest some extra actors

Whoo, Ed Westwick! He and Leighton really do light up the screen. Blake, I could live without. Does Sam get any better on Supernatural? (I'm watching only the first season right now) Enjoy your shows!

I don't really watch Smallville, so I have no real opinion on your number one. She did seem nice though, from the bits and pieces I have seen. I don't get the adoration for Ed Westwick, to be honest. Sure, Blair and Chuck are a nice couple (is it possible to watch the show and not ship for them?) but I think he's a little wooden and not that attractive. *ducks away from the rotten tomatoes* I really like Leighton Meester, though. I know her from House and she did a good job there. However, I have seen her crying in front of a mirror once and I remember being a little disappointed with that. I LOVE Dean and I agree with you. He does a great acting job 95% of the time. Kristen Bell is top notch, true. I really miss Veronica. How about Ray Wise, the Devil from Reaper, are canceled show's excluded? He's a fine actor in my opinion. And Misha Collins from Supernatural? Not my favorite character but a good actor for sure.

Jensen is hilarious and Alison Mack is quite talented. Dunno about Gossip Girl people cuz dont watch it.

Agree with Allison Mack and Leighton Meester. Love love those two (esp. Blair of Season One). Jensen and Jared are great, considering they're the only 2 major chars and they've carried the show well. I'll be missing Tyler Labine of Reaper and Joanna Garcia of Privileged. From 90210, the one I only like is Jessica Stroup. And Sophia Bush of OTH, of course.

Jensen Ackles is so the best actor on the CW IMO. Then Ed. Then Jared. Then Leighton and then my list ends cause no one else can compare

yay for Gossip girl actors! I also think Ed is really talented! and he gets to show alot of his talent on the show.. when it comes to blake and leighton and think leighton is a little more talented, but I absolutely disagree in she beeing a really bad actress which many people think! they are both good^^

I agree with everything. Ed is tolerable, but an excellent actor. I LOVE Blair/Leighton and Serena/Blake -- one of my favorite reasons to keep on tuning into Gossip Girl. Jensen is an awesome dude with a great character to play on TV. He always cracks me up, so he deserves to be there. When I watched Smallville, Clohe was the highlight of the episode.

Jensen Ackles would be #1 for me. There's a reason "Emmy" has been mentioned around his name a few times. He's the best actor on the network, and one of the best on TV in general. Allison Mack is wonderful, of course.

Chloe is okay on Smallville, but I liked Michael Rosenbaum better. Lex was the reason I tuned in each episode.

Did I not comment here? I could've sworn I commented here before. I definitely remember reading the blog and thinking "yay, Allison Mack". But I guess I must have not done coz my comment is not here. But anyway...yay, Allison Mack.
