Should I stop gaming?

Yeah, you read it right. Since I started college like 5 weeks ago I've got really no time left for gaming. And it will be like that until March 2011 ... so I think about selling my PS3 and all the games ... that would be like 800$ at least which I could spend for a new guitar amp and stuff like that. Nah, I would still have my casual Wii ... I'm unsure

If you do you'll regret it - I promise you!

For... a guitar? Well I won't comment on that, since I wouldn't know what it's like for you... a guitar huh?

Well you will regret selling it off, unless you're planning on finally moving on from video games and focusing on your studies, and then maybe purchasing a console in the next generation. But if you're like the rest of the people on this site, you'll probably miss games really quickly and will yearn to play as soon as possible. But why ask us?

If you aren't playing because you don't have time -- you'll regret it. However, if you find that you have free time and don't want to play -- then do it.

dont do it!
you will regret it, especially if the only reason you're not gaming is bc of lack of spare time.
Eventually, you will have time to game again.
just wait it out, and save ur money for other things u want :]

Nah you will find some free time, 1 hour a day or so is good, even 30 minutes is good, Im a busy guy and I have alot of things to do in my life and I still have a lot of time to game so no.

And I think it is not worth selling your console to get the amp, try saving money for the amp.

What guitar (or guitars) do you have?

It's up to you to decide. If you don't feel that you have the time and want the money, then go for it. If not, then keep it and play it during your spare time. I know that I don't have much time to play with the ps3 but I manage to play some during my spare time and on weekends.

How do you "stop gaming" officially? Write up an oath? Publicly declare your uninvolvement with the industry?

Even if you sell your PS3, I can guarantee that you'll pick up gaming at some other point in your life in one way or another.

It's like a ghost that haunts you in a non-creepy sort of way.

Nah, my parents said I would regret it, a friend who came over today said I shouldn't quit it (because then nobody would beat him 14:6 in Fifa ) and you all say it too ... so I won't stop gaming. At least for now
I've got enough money so I think I spend that for an amp ... or I'll get a minijob ... I just hope I don't too much games without that time

About Me

I'm form Germany and 18 (finally) years old. I'm into videogames since Age of Empires I and started playing PlayStation back in 1998 when I got my PS1. I love Adventures and RPG's. Shooters are also okay but they have to be story-driven. I hate games with no real story.
