The inspirational lyrics, and the connection Slug makes with his fans through his words is straight out mind blowing. Every album being unique from the rest, and how he keeps every album fresh and all songs listenable is beyond my comprehension. Love his records and i hope slug and ant keep it coming.

Dark emotions, and even darker lyrics haunt the records this group makes. Making them a a good choice to those who are interested in self-loathing, or just typically sad songs. Filled with tracks dedicated to suicide, its hard to imagine how Self (rapper) is still alive. Classified under Emocore Rap, or just extreme conscious Hip hop, whatever the case, the tracks are good nonetheless. Keep in reminder though, most of their songs so far, aren't of the best quality, their only album out "The Death of Self, Collections 1" is a demo. Not exactly Dr. Dre or Alchemist clean cut produced material. Nevertheless, if your into lyrics, then the lyrics will definitely overshadow the quality-problem. If your into politics, suicidal/existential lyrics, and other things of that sort, then this group is for you. If your into club bangers and happy lyrics that make you feel warm, click the exit button right now.
