Grad Skool...sighs

I'm starting to study for the GRE. I bought a vocab review book and I was just skimming through...oh my gosh There's so much English I don't know!

I'm got a small dilema. I want my masters in bioinformatics. However, I REALLY don't want to have to commute or relocate to get it. The university in town isn't really the best school for this type of degree. v___v

I did some searching and I discovered John Hopkins University has an online masters degree for bioinformatics. Which is awesome, because then I won't have to comute or relocate but...those near me strongly discourages the whole "online" degree thing >__>

ugh...decisions, decisions.

oh goodness, don't you absolutely HATE school related decisions.... i always get this impending doom, "screwed if you do, screwed if you don't" feeling.... it takes a certain kind of student to do a degree primarily online, and if you've never taken any serious courses online it may be a legitimate shock

then again, if you have the motivation and will to do grad school, then you can probably handle it, i'm sure having the soon to be hubby around will help.... always nice to have someone to bit.... complain to

Online classes are a lot tougher than campus. They can eat up a lot of time. It's part of the reason I've been gone so long. I spent so much time online on the classes, when I had free time, I didn't want to spend it online

Definitely find out if the credits will transfer, and how much it is, and try a few classes at first. That way you're not out so much money.

First before I go on about blabbing about me, note, I do not accept random friend requests. I'd at least like to know who you are before I add you. Now, about me. I'm a junior in college. I'm working on a computer science degree. :D ...and when I graduate I will be a Software Engineer. Metal Gear Solid is my all-time favorite series, and I like almost all genres of games...maybe minus a few odd ones. And there you go...me in a really, really tiny nutshell :-/
