First of all these guys need a new name because i read an artical about them and i thought 'Motion City' was a movie and this was a 'Soundtrack' for it.
The new CD 'Commit This To Memory' in one word is 'awesome' it received 4 and half stars in a newspaper article. I recommend you go to the website and open up the music player for a listen to their new album. Make sure you listen to it more than once because it takes a while to recognise each song individually. The best songs being 'Everything is alright', 'When you're around', 'Feel like rain', 'L.Gfuad' and 'Hold Me Down'.
It is a brilliant blend of rock, pop and punk music with lyrics that have hints of emo.
This album is miles ahead of their previous album 'I am the Movie'. The new one was produced with Mark Hoppus from Blink 182 and another member of Yellowcard and another from Jimmy Eat World.

To describe Motion City Soundtrack's new album is a cross of the late Blink 182 and Taking Back Sunday with drum beats similar to Yellowcard.
