This is why the rest of the world is not the biggest fan of the U.S

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcJn5XlbSFk

after I watched that clip i was pissed off...and I dont usually get pissed off that easily (except for really frustratingly hard levels in video games)

But its Fox News showing their intelligence yet again...I cant believe this BS.....this is in the wake of a week where somewhere around 10 Canadian soliders got killed in Afganistan in the war effort. Now personally I believe this whole war mission is pointless and there is no way to suceed in afghan (as history has proved) but these guys seem to think that the Americans are 100x better than everyone else (not the first time that has happened). Now I realize that Fox News is not the most creditable source of news, but this is ridiculous. I know 6 year olds who have more intelligent conversations and debatesthan this.

now I know this will be read by U.S citizens, and Ive got nothing against you guys (unless you in the same mindset)but can you guysreally even think why these douche bags would say stuff like this? Its not like U.S has tons of countries on their side at this point, so I dont know why they are getting allies pissed at them.

the u.s image has really taken a beating lately....i wonder what barack would say about this one

Wow....that's sad.

I can't watch Youtube on my office network... like it affect productivity or something but I'll make sure to watch it later... but Fox News, HA! most of america thinks it is the worst news available. I'm sorry they even exist, but that's what you get in a capitalist nation... people will say anything for ratings, advertising, and money...
Posted 03/23/2009 12:34pm
i now know that this redeye show is supposed to be a joke...and thank god
i dont even hate jokes against canadians (i love south park episode making fun of Canada)...but it was just that this was a rant from a new station, not comedy central (I know Fox News isnt supposed to be the best ever) Main thig is that I know that someone is probably taking this as a real news article...they may not be the brightest but someone takes foxnews' word seriously

and it has very bad timing especially with the recent losses for canadian forces...its like rubbing salt in the wounds of the families who have lost ppl to the war

First and foremost, dude I know you're a bit upset, but using the d-bag word is only going to get you banned from GameSpot. As you know I have no problem with anybody, except for people who lag switch on Gears of War 2, and more obviously, ignorant people. Like the ones that you have mentioned. I have the utmost respect for anybody who's served in the war, especially people (or countries) who help America in wars that has nothing to do with them.

Not everyone from the US is this way...and not all of us watch and revere Fox news The people who do really disturb me. Really, really disturb me.
Posted 03/23/2009 4:38pm
i know not all americans are like that! im not trying to say that at all...its just those opinions that are so out there that give a bad stereotype for the rest of the world to see
the most annoying part about the late night foxnews rant, was that if any other country were to rip the U.S war effort you know it would cause a big uproar...especially if they were insulted by the country they were trying to help

The first time I saw this I did laugh. I will admit this. A few of those people were actually comedians then actual anchor-persons. I think we do have a unusual perception on the Canadian military just like we do with the French armed forces. We just export more military power as oppose to a lot of other countries. We also tend to forget that even though we share a lot of western values, we're still two different countries. So not everyone agrees with us. But Americans still do appreciate the help regardless of what Fox News(or any other new station) has said.

I am an american myself, and I am disgusted by this. It's amazing they would show off such cruel stereotyping on public TV...then again, its FOX tv. I've heard a lot of stuff about how in-credible those guys are.
Posted 03/23/2009 9:56pm
Yeah I was pretty disturbed by this, this guy was having way too much fun for it to be a pure joke.

I'm pretty angry at it and I think he needs to pay for what he said.

Ya know, I generally like Fox News and think they receive alot of unfair criticism because they lean to the right much more than any other network... but like many cable networks, some of their crap is pure crap, like this. It's a shame too because there are a handful of really credible news guys on that network that catch a bad rep because they're attatched to the same network.

@raahsnavj - Actually Fox News is the one of the (if not the) highest rated news network on TV America, so most Americans dont think it's the worst news. Here's a link. Not everybody on there are as ignorant as this joker. Bill O'Reilly has one of the highest rated cable news shows as well, and overall he's pretty fair. I dont care what anybody says, he's fair. You want to hear biased then listen to Chris Mathews, Keither Olbermen, or Rush Limbaugh.

@carljohnson3456 - I hearby revoke my statement and then agree with volcomstoner that most american's are idiots then...
Posted 03/24/2009 10:06am
@raahsnavj - I dont recall volcom saying most Americans are idiots.
Posted 03/24/2009 11:06am
And Volcom, dont ever watch Fox News YouTube videos, lol. Sometimes they're funny because it shows the douchebaggery sometimes displayed by the network, but none of the clips on YouTube are meant to spin Fox News in a good light. I watch Fox News quite often, mainly in the evenings and at night, and I've never really seen this type of garbage on during that time. Just wanted to assure you, it's not always that ridiculous. And even though I'm a contribution to making Fox News one of the highest rated networks on TV, it's not because I (or we) all like to watch this type of disgraceful garbage.

EDIT: One Fox News YouTube video I will recommend is the one where a bunch of guys at a protest start saying "Eff Fox News" on camera, lol. Maybe that will make you feel better after watching these jokers...
Posted 03/24/2009 11:10am
ugh, those guys are f**king idiots.
Posted 03/24/2009 1:13pm
I HATE Fox News. Seen that Family Guy episod about it? That's why.
Posted 03/24/2009 1:51pm
HA! I don't even watch Fox News. These people are trying to be funny, but I didn't laugh one bit.
Posted 03/24/2009 4:59pm
Actually Carl J, I feel you're right about Bill O'Reilly. I usually don't watch Fox at all, my mom starts yelling after watching their news for 2 minutes. I always try to tell her to calm down and try to see what they're trying to say, doesn't always work. Anyways the little I saw of Bill O'Reilly I was impressed. The one guy who I could say made sense and I liked. I like that Olberman points out cruelty and power being greedy (when they're actually being greedy not when he does it to make a story), but like anything it gets excessive.

I mean I guess CNN isn't bad. I go to the website daily.

But you know Volcom I wonder the same thing, "Are Americans really like this?" and I'm an American. I guess the kids from my college who're from Virginia have said it's pretty bad, people are senseless right winged jerks. Then again there are some senseless left winged jerks in my area.
