Hey everyone

Well it's been a while since my last blog (a month actually). I want to thank everyone who wished me a happy B-day My B-day was great and I really enjoyed spending the day with my family and friends.

My father and I went to a museum about three weeks ago. It's called Boijmans van Beuningen and it was a really great museum. I sort of expected it to be a lot smaller than in turned out to be, but I really didn't mind that it was big even if I got lost in it, though of course my father keeps saying that we didn't get lost. Yeah right They also had a lot more paintings from really famous painters as well. They had paintings from: Monet, Kandinsky, Rubens, Rembrandt, Dali, van Gogh ect. All in all it turned out to be a much cooler museum than I thought it would be. And yes I did just use the word cool to describe a museum, I guess this really proves that I'm a geek

Last Wednesday was my first day of my new study. (See first I was studying to become a teacher at a primary school, but now I'm going to study to become a teacher of English. I decided that this is what I really want to do, even if it does mean I have to start fromm scratch again). But Wednesday was just an introduction day and tomorrow I will officially start my new study and I'm really excited about it. I do stay in the same building as my old study, so I at least will have something familiar.

Now the reason that I haven't really been on here as much is because of my suddeb obsession (see title) with Smallville. Blame my country for that, I did You see they aired a few new (well new for here then) episodes of Smallville and then suddenly they stopped. But by that point I really wanted to see what would happen next so I started watching it online. And then before I knew it, I watched every season of Smallville and even bought season 1 on DVD. So yeah that's that.
But I also caught up on other TV series and read a few books.

I will try and comment on your blogs soon, cause even though I read most of them I didn't leave comments so I will do that when I've got the time (which will hopefully be very soon).

Hey everyone

I'm glad we got our old blogs back even if it means losing the new ones (though it still sucks). Luckily I only wrote two blogs, so it isn't much I lost.

On August 2 (in two days) I'm finally turning 18 and I'm really excited for it My computer pretty much broke about a year ago and since then the love between my computer and I was tragically lost So for my b-day I would get a new computer. Then my parents bought a computer last week, but unfortunately they said it would take two weeks before my computer was in order, which meant that I wouldn't be ready on time for my b-day. So my parents told me that last week, but I didn't care much because I'm already thrilled that I'm getting one at all. But then they called us the day after my parents told me that, that the computer was ready already. So I already got my new computer for a week now today and I couldn't be happier
I've been really busy with transferring a lot of stuff from my old computer to my new one, and I'm still not completely ready.

So on Sunday (my b-day, no I can't say it enough ) my family and friends, that are not on vacation, are coming over to celebrate and I'm really looking forward to it I probably won't be on here on Sunday, but I will be back on Monday.

Hey everyone

It's been like two months since I've last been on here, but now it's finally vacation so hopefully I will be on here more. I missed you all, that's for sure.

School kind of sucked, partially because of my internship. The teacher, from the grade where I had my internship, and me just didn't got a long. And so she was being mean on my rapport, and reporting all kind of nonsense things. And so I was really afraid that I would fail my internship and that just sucks, but luckily this didn't turn out that way. And I passed, so I was happy with that

My computer is just broken, so I've been stealing my brothers laptop for now. Because for my b-day I'm going to get a new computer and I can't wait.

And here's part 2 of the 3, with the top 15 shows according to me. And believe me when I say I had a lot of trouble making his list, but I hope you'll enjoy.

10. Moonlight: I really love this show. I've always been fascinated with Vampires, so it isn't so weird that I love this show as much as I do. Too bad it only lasted for one season, I think this show had so much more potential and I would have liked to see more of it.

9. JAG:This show is a little for my time, but I still love it. I've seen quite a few re-runs on TV, and lately the DVD-boxes are out here in The Netherlands, so I've start buying it. And hopefully all the seasons will be released soon. BTW I'm totally a Mac/Harm shipper.

8. Friends

This is the only comedy show on my list, but it just had to be on here. I mean I've spent 10 years with these characters, and I love them all. I own all 10 seasons on DVD and no matter how many times I've seen it already, I still enjoy it. Plus it can always make me laugh even though I feel like crap.

7. CSI: New York

In the beginning it was my least favorite of all the three CSI's, but now it's my favorite. I don't know exactly what changed, but I think it had something to do with Lindsay coming onto the show. Don't get me wrong I really liked Aiden, but Lindsay brought something interesting to the table. And I just love the whole M&M's storyline.

6. Buffy the Vampire Slayer

I just love this show, especially the first three seasons while Angel was still in it. I admit I'm a huge Angel/Buffy shipper and I still think that they belong with each other. After Charmed I think this was the second show that I just become obsessed with. And probably where my love for vampires comes from.

A day which started out as a happy and fun day turned into a drama.

This Queensday started out like any other Queensday I can remember. I celebrated it with my parents with going into the town looking at some booths, listening to some live music and going to the fair. It was just another fun Queensday, until one of my aunts called my father to let him know that something at happened in Apeldoorn. Every Queensday the Queen and the rest of the royal family visit a town, play some fun old Dutch games ect. This year thattown was Apeldoorn. We rush toward my aunt's home (because she lives close by where we were) to see what had really happened. Then we see on TV that a man in his black car drove through the cordoning off operation and crashes into a monument, just a few feet away from the bus where the royal family was in.

In order to do that however he had to drive though the crowd of people that where there to see the royal family. You could just see the people flying though the air. There were 17 injured, from witch four have already died and five more are badly injured. The driver himself is still alive, though he is badly injured, and in police custody. The Queen herself has expressed her regret for what happened and to tell that she feels for the victims and their loved ones!

There was the big question for awhile whether this was an accident or an attack on the royal family. But no we are sure enough to say that the latter was true. What everyone here in the Netherlands now wants to know is the reason why he did, but sadly there is nothing known about that yet.

Everyone is very shocked, myself included because you just don't expect anything like this at all! And since nothing like this has happened before, you don't even consider it.

All the celebrations in Apeldoorn were cancelled, and a few other places followed this. Other places decide to continue to celebrate, like Amsterdam. Amsterdam is pretty much the place to be on Queensday and a lot of people go there to celebrate it, because there is a free concert there were a lot of famous singers perform. They did have their reason for continuing and they were silent for a minute to think about the victims and their loved ones. And trust me it's quite an impressive site to see about 200 thousand people completely silent.

Anyway everyone is still pretty much in shock, and hopefully they will find out why that men did it soon.

I think that it's safe to say that Queensday is never going to be the same again!

As I am typing this; I just heard that there are now 5 people dead. We don't know yet wetter it's the driver ( who is in critical condition) or someone else.

My heart goes out to all the victims and their loved ones!

Edit: The offender died last night in the hospital which means that there are now 6 dead by this terrible attack. Now we may never know for sure why he did it, but since he just recently lost his job, the greatest guess is that he was angry about the economic crisis.

There are now seven dead and eight still injured, from witch one of them is in critical condition.

Hey everyone

I finally have vacation, yeah That's because this Thursday it's Queensday ( Koninginnedag as we call it) On Queensday we celebrate our Queens' b-day. Only it's not really her b-day, it's her mothers b-day ( who was Queen before her). Our Queen: Beatrix' b-day is January 31, but because it's too cold to celebrate it then we continue to celebrate it on 30 April. See that's not complicated at all And we also have a fair now, so that's always a lot of fun

Hey everyone.

I hope everyone is enjoying Easter!

This is my 100th blog and I wanted to do something special. So this blog I'm going to give you some more insight into... ME! So be warned!

As most of you all ready know; My name is Robin and I'm a 17 year old girl from The Netherlands (Holland).

Last year I graduated from High school.

And my diploma is framed and hangs on a wall in my bedroom.

Currently I'm studying to became a teacher, and since this is my first year I still have three more to go after I finish this one.

And this is the front of the building where I go to college. It a very new building, one year old. But recently is was officially opened by our own Princes Maxima. Unfortunately I couldn't be there for the opening cause I was at my Internship.

Normally I always wear my contacts, but of course I also have glasses. Which I wear at home.

I collect watches, simply because I just love them

This are just a few of them, cause I have more laying around.

I love jewellery.

Some of my favorites bracelets.

But what I love most of all are Earrings.

I usually don't wear a lot ( or no) make-up, but I do love lipgloss and lipstick.

Even though I'm not religious ( though I do believe that everyone should be albe to believe in what they want) I'm very partial to Buddhas.

And yes people I love Tarot cards to predict my future I bet you didn't knew that about me

I recently did it and I have to say that my future looks pretty good. So now you know that if you ever want to know what's in store for you, you just have to ask me

I'm also into fantasy stuff and other weird things...

I love to read and here are some of the books that are laying in my room.

Reading about places I went to or really want to go to is always fun to do.

My dream is to go to New York someday

Which is the reason that these hang at my walls.

I use paint samples as bookmarks, cause I like all the colors.

I'm addicted to buying college notebooks.

Hey everybody

I hope everyone is doing okay, and life is treating everyone well

It's been a while since I last blogged. School is keeping me plenty busy. Sometimes I have a ten hour school day, which is way too long if you ask me I've also been busy with my internship.
Luckily my next semester which starts Tuesday is a little bit easier, so hopefully I have more time to be on here
I'm just finished with my two weeks exams, and I think it all went pretty well.

So when you get tagged you have to write 16 facts about yourself, so since I got tagged twice that would have to be 32 facts. I'm not sure I'll be able to come up with them all, so I'm just going to see how far I'll come

1. I'm a huge fan of the Harry Potter books.

2. My favorite season is summer, simply because that means no school and it's my B-day then.

Pfew I made it!

Last Thursday my course started ( the one with the foreign students) and I met them all and it was real fun. Some of them com from Austria, Turkey and Belgium. One even come from Canada. But I noticed that the most com from Spain. Anyway after meeting them I'm even more excited about this course. Alas though there were no cute guys, cause they were all girls

... If it were not, we would have people standing in the corners of our rooms.

So my second test period is over, and hopefully I'll have no more tests for a while. It didn't go as well as the previous week. Mainly because I haven't been able to do one test, cause I was sick. But hopefully I will be allowed to take that test another time *crosses fingers* Luckily I think that other tests went okay.

Yesterday I finally bought the Moonlight DVD-box So I've been watching Moonlight pretty much this whole day...
And more good news, tonight finally a new Numb3rs episode on TV, I can't wait to see it

Hey people

Well I just finished my first week full of tests and I think it went pretty well. But Friday was a bit too much for me. Everyone had to give a presentation that lasts about 5 minutes. You would think that it wouldn't be so bad right? Well then you're wrong. Cause there are about 25 people in my cl@ss, and we had to listen to everyones presentation. So I sat there longer than 3 hours and basically listening to the same thing over and over again, I was not happy. Luckily I was hanging out with some friends afterwards and I suddenly felt a lot better
And then to think that I still have one week to go *sigh*

I gave myself up to follow a course Internationalisation @ home at school and I'm really looking forward to it! There are coming about 20 foreign students to our school to learn about the Dutch education. And basically me and other students will help them with this and will learn them some standard Dutch. So I can't wait to begin this course

Oh and if anyone wonders about my great topic title, well I couldn't make up anything so I decided to use a quote instead even though it has nothing to do with my blog

And now I'm going to study some more, yay...

Hey everyone, I hope you're all doing great!

As some of you may know, I'm a student at the PABO to became a teacher. Well I'm currently in my first year and two months after you start with your education you already have an internship. I had my internship at a group 7.
Now I'm going to tell you something about how the school system works for an elementary (primary) school where I live ( The Netherlands). So be WARNED!
When your four years old you start with you elementary school and then your in group 1. When you're 5 years old your supposed to be in group etc. It goes on until group 8, then they're about 11/12 years old. After that you go to High School.
THE WARNING IS OFF
So I had group 7 for my first semester, and yesterday was my last day there and it was really sad
I'm really going to miss them! The kids said they were all going to miss me as well, and that was really sweet. The even made me a big card and then every kid wrote something in it. I'm defiantly going to save that card for ever!

The next two/ three weeks I have tests weeks. I already have a new internship and that's at group 1/2, I'm really excited about it. It is so different than what I just did, so I'll probably learn a lot of different things.

Hey everyone, I hope you're all doing okay!

School started Monday again, and it was good to see and talk to everyone again. School itself was okay as well. But it's been pretty cold latley, which I'm not so fond off, cause it s*cks standing in the cold and waiting for the train or the bus.
But when I woke up this morning and I looked outside, I saw that there was snow outside And when I was waiting on my bus, it started snowing again. Sadly, it wasn't very much snow ( at all) and by the time I came back from school, almost all the snow was gone. So I couldn''t even have fun in the snow
Other than that I've been pretty good

Hey everyone

On Monday one of my best friends celebrated her B-day ( even though she'll turn 19 in about 3 weeks from now) and I (we) had an awesome time. I gave her perfume from Kylie Minogue and the DVD: The Sound of Music, cause that's what she wanted. So she was really happy with her presents, which made me happy as well Anyway after we had lots of fun we also went to the movies. And we saw the movie: Four Christmases with Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon. And I have to admit that the movie was a lot better than I expected. I thought that they movie had some things in it that you don't see in most comedies. SO it was fun and pretty original

Anyway enough about that, now I just want to wish all of you a:

Hey, I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

Like I mentioned in my previous blog, I spent the biggest part of Christmas Eve day, at my friends house. I had a really great time there! I even helped my friend prepare dinner, and trust me when I say I can never be found at a stove. I really can't cook, so I'm surprised I didn't burn anything
After dinner, I watched some TV there ( All you need is love: Christmas special) with my friend and het family. Yep, it's was lots of fund

1st Christmas day was really fun, and I had a wonderful time. But 2nd Christmas day, was still fun, but some things went wrong and that wasn't really nice. We had a blockage in our plumbing, so the water couldn't get away and we got a leakage . But luckily the problem is now solved.

I got a lot of awesome presents and I'm really happy with them

I got: -Three Children books ( for my education), and I really wanted them so yeah
- I got the book: HP and the Half-blood Prince from J. K. Rowling ( I have read them all in Dutch, but I'm currently reading them all in English as well. *CoughObsessedCough*
- I got three seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer ( 4, 5, 6) so now all I need is season 7 and then I finally got them all
- I got the movie: The Bourne Ultimatum, so now I have all three of them *does a weird victory dance*
- I got a book: The tales of beedle the bard from J. K. Rowling, and I really like it, cause it rocks
- I got a very cute notebook, for me to write stuff in.
- I got the movie: Dangerous minds, finally. I've wanted it for a long time, but I could never find out, figures... But now I have it
- I got some delicious chocolates from my father, like every year, and every year they are Hmmm...
- I got The Sims 2 Free Time, which I'm really happy about.
- I got Breaking Dawn from Stephenie Meyer, the fourth and last of the Twilight installment. I can't wait to read it...
- I got some Vogue stuff for the shower, so I can continue to smell nice
- And I got some very cute green earrings

This was my Christmas this year, I can't wait till next year. I hope you all enjoyed it like I did!

Hey everyone! I hope you all have a good Christmas eve day, today

Well it's finally that time of the year again, and I'm super excited about it. I just finished shopping for Christmas presents yesterday I started shopping for them like a month ago, but when I'm looking for something in particular I can never find it But luckily I finally found my last gift yesterday, so now I'm done

Today, I'm going to one of my best friends house, to celebrate Christmas with her and her family. I can't wait, it's going to be really fun. I'm going to eat there as well, and my best friend is cooking this dinner herself. I don't know what it is yet, but whatever it is it's going to be good. My best friend is half French ( from her mother side) and they always cook French. It's alsways delicious, even though I can never pronounce what I'm eating

And first and second Christmas day, I'm just going to spend at home with my parents and my brother. Which is always a great Christmas!

Hey everyone, it's been a long, long time since my last blog and since I've really been on here... I guess I just took an extended Holiday from here. But the time I was away, I did really miss everyone here, so I hope you are all doing well!

For me a lot of things happened in real life while I was on my 'holiday'. I am now officially a student ( I really like using that word). My study is called PABO, and it comes down to the fact that I am now studying to become a teacher, something I really wanted ( still do) to become. So I'm really happy that I'm now on my way to becoming one So far I'm really liking it, and I'm getting good grades, so yeah So lately I've been very busy with my study, but for now I have a two weeks holiday.

And of course it's almost Christmas, and I'm really looking forward to this, cause Christmas is probably my favorite time of the year.

Hey, everyone

So I finally have my computer back, I'm so happy about that So tomorrow I'll start commenting on everyone's blog again.

Well today is my B-day, and yes, I'm 17 now

I didn't really do anything special today, cause all my friends are on vacation, so I just spend today with my parents. Which was quite nice

I finally got a new camera, cause I broke my old one when I went to London with school. I'm really happy with it.

And well here is the one I got.

I also got the CD from Dirty Dancing the musical, and I have been listening to it the whole day.

There were also some other little presents I got, but won't bore you with that. Well that and I'm to lazy to name it

And before I forget, I became an editor for Navi Rawat; she plays Amita Ramanujan on the series Numb3rs!

Well enough talking, it's time for a little party!

Hey everyone

How are you doing?

Since I still haven't gotten my computer back, I haven't been on much. But the times that I can 'steal' the computer for a while, I've been on here. I do read most of your blogs, but I simply don't have the time to leave a comment on them

Like some of you might know, I went to the Dirty Dancing Musical last Sunday, so this blog will be about it.

Well I can honestly see that it was.... AMAZING! I enjoyed every minute of it! Well to begin me and my mom had pretty good seats so I could see everything, which is always a good thing We had probably the places on the balcony so I was happy about that The only thing that I didn't really liked about that, was the balcony part We sat pretty high, and for someone who is afraid of heights it's not a real good thing. But when the musical started, I didn't even thought about that anymore, cause I was enjoying it way too much, so I have to say that it was totally worth it.

The musical was great, you could really recognise the movie in it, they really followed the storyline: I was so happy about that The dialogue was great and also came from the movie ( well the biggest part then), only then in Dutch
The actors did an amazing job, so applause for them
And of course the dancing was fabulous, and they successfully did the famous LIFT
The music was very good as well, there were a few songs which were song so beautiful that I got goosebumps from it. And of course they played the song I've had the time of my life during the last dance.

Hey, everyone

How is everybody?

I'm really sorry that I haven't been leaving a comment on your blogs recently. This is because me and my computer are fighting My computer is acting up again, so I haven't been on much. Tomorrow I have to bring my computer away, so it can finally be fixed, which is a good thing. But this also means that I won't have a computer for a while There are other computers in my house, but they're mostly occupied.
So I will probably not be here as much, and probably won't leave a comment on your blogs. I just thought that I would let you all know

As for good news, I'm going to the musical Dirty Dancing today, and I'm really excited

So I guess I'll see you all again when I get my computer back, hopefully soon...
