Turning seventeen!
Hey, everyone ![]()
So I finally have my computer back, I'm so happy about that
So tomorrow I'll start commenting on everyone's blog again.
Well today is my B-day, and yes, I'm 17 now
I didn't really do anything special today, cause all my friends are on vacation, so I just spend today with my parents. Which was quite nice
I finally got a new camera, cause I broke my old one when I went to London with school. I'm really happy with it.
And well here is the one I got.

I also got the CD from Dirty Dancing the musical, and I have been listening to it the whole day.

There were also some other little presents I got, but won't bore you with that. Well that and I'm to lazy to name it ![]()
And before I forget, I became an editor for Navi Rawat; she plays Amita Ramanujan on the series Numb3rs! ![]()
Well enough talking, it's time for a little party!
Enjoy the food and drinks ![]()

And feel free to play some games.

And what's a party without some hotties...

Huge Hugs! ![]()
Dirty Dancing Musical...
Hey everyone
How are you doing?
Since I still haven't gotten my computer back, I haven't been on much. But the times that I can 'steal' the computer for a while, I've been on here. I do read most of your blogs, but I simply don't have the time to leave a comment on them ![]()
Like some of you might know, I went to the Dirty Dancing Musical last Sunday, so this blog will be about it.
Well I can honestly see that it was.... AMAZING! I enjoyed every minute of it!
Well to begin me and my mom had pretty good seats so I could see everything, which is always a good thing
We had probably the places on the balcony so I was happy about that
The only thing that I didn't really liked about that, was the balcony part
We sat pretty high, and for someone who is afraid of heights it's not a real good thing. But when the musical started, I didn't even thought about that anymore, cause I was enjoying it way too much, so I have to say that it was totally worth it.
The musical was great, you could really recognise the movie in it, they really followed the storyline: I was so happy about that
The dialogue was great and also came from the movie ( well the biggest part then), only then in Dutch
The actors did an amazing job, so applause for them
And of course the dancing was fabulous, and they successfully did the famous LIFT
The music was very good as well, there were a few songs which were song so beautiful that I got goosebumps from it. And of course they played the song I've had the time of my life during the last dance.
Here are some pictures from the musical, not taking by me btw, cause that wasn't allowed and I broke my camera like a year ago...

Here's a link to the trailer from the musical. And be WARNED, the first 19/20 seconds it's nothing important so you can just skip that bit

And little bits from the musical during the Dutch musical awards gala 2007. Not all things happened the way you see it here, like the singers, they are not part of the musical, but you can see THE LIFT.

Well hopefully I get my computer back soon, so I can leave comments on your blog again. And thanks for all the comments on my previous blog. ![]()
Love yay all!!
Huge Hugs!
Apologize...
Hey, everyone ![]()
How is everybody?
I'm really sorry that I haven't been leaving a comment on your blogs recently. This is because me and my computer are fighting
My computer is acting up again, so I haven't been on much. Tomorrow I have to bring my computer away, so it can finally be fixed, which is a good thing. But this also means that I won't have a computer for a while
There are other computers in my house, but they're mostly occupied.
So I will probably not be here as much, and probably won't leave a comment on your blogs. I just thought that I would let you all know
As for good news, I'm going to the musical Dirty Dancing today, and I'm really excited ![]()
So I guess I'll see you all again when I get my computer back, hopefully soon...
Love yay all!
Huge Hugs!
A picture says more than 1000 words!
Hey, everybody I hope you're all enjoying this weekend
Like I said in my previous blog, this blog will be about my oldest cousins wedding.
Warning: this will be a pretty long blog, cause there are going to be quite a few pictures, and me rambling
Well the wedding was great, and I'm soo happy that I went. It was a very long day, but totally worth it.
My cousin is religious and his fiancée ( now wife
) isn't, but because it really meant something to my cousin they also married in a church. Yes you read it right, also. Because they are two totally different people and had other ideas, the married twice. But more about that later.
First we all had to gather around in a place in Amsterdam, from there a bus would pick us up and drive us to our destination.
Here are some pics, of me and part of my family at the gather point.

Kim. that's my cousins fiancée ( now wife), alsways said than if she was ever going to get married, she would want her family in a Kilt. So the biggest part of her family wore a Kilt, and here is a picture of that.

Then finally the bus that would pick us up arrived, but it wasn't a normal bus it was a English red double-deck
Will get to see how it looks on the outside later, first a few pics from inside the bus

And hey, you can see more Kilts
We had a lot of fun in the bus, cause Kim's family was absolutely CRAZY ( not that mine family isn't), but in a good lovable way.
Me and my brother in the bus

My cousin, not they one that got married, but his younger brother.
When we arrived at our location: Het Vondelpark, a man with a bagpipe was waiting to escort us trough the Vondelpark to our final location ( for the time being). And it was so funny, cause other people were staring ut as with a confuesed expression and were taking pictures of us, and that was really funny

Once we were all seated my cousin: Remon and Kim finally walked in, and in my opinion she looked really beautiful

Part of the room, and as you can see there were quite a few people; this is just one side of the room the other side was just a packed.

Ring time.
After that, it was time for a little PARTY

Their delicious cake *yummy*

Them cutting the cake.
Cheers, to the happy couple
After that, back to the bus to go to the church to get married there. And now a picture of the bus with the happy couple.

The Church.
The ceremony was lovely and it meant a lot to my cousin so I was happy that he was happy

Them getting out of the church as husband and wife
After that we went to the beach to a rented 'cottage' to celebrate some more
A few pics from the rented 'cottage'.

They had some very comfortable couches and of course my family nicked a nice little corner whit some couches
And we danced the night away ![]()

That was a happy day, can't believe it's been a week already...
Love yay!
Huge Hugs! ![]()
One year anniversary
Hey, everyone
I hope you're all doing fine!
I'm doing great at the moment, just a little bit tired from yesterday. The wedding was awesome, but more about the wedding in my next blog
Like I mentioned in my previous blog, yesterday was my one year anniversary here on TV.com and I like to celebrate that with a blog
When I was bored last summer, I was surfing the web and I accidental stumbled onto this site. Or to be more accurate I stumbled onto the forum of CSI NY, so I read some of the topics and I thought that is was all very entertaining. So for about a week I went to this site and read the CSI NY forum, then I started thinking about maybe joining this site. But I thought that it wasn't really for me, and I don't remember why exactly but I decided to just do it and joining this site.
This was one of me best decisions ever and I'm soo glad that I decided to join this site, cause it's been an amazing year
And the reason why it's been such a amazing year is because of all the nice people ( with this I mean you all... I thought that was obvious
) here on TV.com, and I want to thank you all for that
You all rock!
I would name you all, but that would take another year
, so I decided not to, cause there are just too many people to name
I made a little list on what I want to have done here on TV.com for my two year anniversary ![]()
- I want to be level 30, but higher is good as well ![]()
- Want to have at least 5000 forum posts.
- Written 50 or more reviews.
- At least 100 blog posts.
- And maybe become a editor for something, but this one isn't one of my priorities.
Enough talking and time to celebrate!

Here's is some food. For everybody something to choose from
![]()

Of course some cheese ![]()
And now the drinks!

And for those who don't drink alcohol ( including me
)!

Cheers everyone

Huge Hugs! And here's to another amazing year!
Love yay!
