Angel: After the Fall
I was a bit disappointed that Angel got cancelled after the series finale left Angel and company battling a horde of demons. I was happy to hear that there was a Season 6 in comic book form. Apparently, after Team Angel takes down the Circle of the Black Thorn, the Senior Partners of Wolfram and Hart send Los Angeles and everyone in it to Hell. The comic book, Angel: After the Fall, shows what happens to Team Angel. Some of my favorite characters are in this book. Illyria, Nina Ash, Wesley, Connor, Gunn and even Kate Lockley. Today I bought the first issue and I enjoyed while sitting in my car in this hot Missouri Spring. I was lucky to find a place that sells the comic book. I wandered around downtown for a while before I found it. It was pretty well hidden. I learned about it from a guy who runs a second-hand bookstore. I hope the store wasn't one of those magic stores that only appear at certain times like in that book The Chocolate Touch. This comic book looks to be a worthy successor to the Angel series. Maybe there will be a movie or two made that is set after the comic book series. Something that will leave the us, the fans, and the characters in the Angel/Buffyverse with a sense of closure and finality.

Remembered And Forgotten Movies Of My Youth
For a while I have been trying to remember the name of a movie I saw years ago but could not remember the name of. The movie was about a young boy lost in the wilderness. The only parts I could remember were near the end. The boy has made breakfast and either a boat or helicopter lands. The boy asks if the pilot wants breakfast. Then, he is back at home and the movie ends. If anyone knows the name of this movie, please let me know as soon as possible. It has been bugging me. While trying to remember this film, I started remembering others that I had seen when I was younger. Maybe they will jog your memory a bit.
1. Daniel and the Towers
2. The Adventures of Milo and Otis
3. The Girl From Tomorrow
4. Back Home
5. Hyper Sapien: People from Another Star
6. Vincent and Me
7. The Boy Who Loved Trolls
Happy St. Patrick's Day
Today is one of the better St. Patrick's Days in recent memory for me. It got me thinking of some of the fairy tale creatures I used to think about when I was younger. Leprechauns, trolls, selkies, will o' the wisps, etc. Not a bad thing to remember being a kid once in a while. I just finished a three day weekend at work, I'm off for two days, I have internet at home and I finished a good book. When working in a factory, the days go by fast. The days off go even faster. The pain in my arms sure doesn't help. I need to get back into school soon. With my new laptop, I am able to access the internet at home instead of going to town to do it. The book I just finished is Dead Beat, the seventh book in the Dresden Files series. I plan to buy the next book, Proven Guilty, today at Hastings. I hope everybody who read this, Irish or not, will have a happy St. Patrick's Day.
