So Far, 2008 has been incredibile for me and I can't believe everything that I've seen so far. I've had 9 Number one hits so far on Beta Records Folk Music Charts including 7 in other countries and I've led the way for Beta Records Folk Artists, all year long at this point staying at #1 since December 31st, 2007 with "Wish I May, Wish I Might" hitting #1 and staying there for 5 weeks. Now I have a new #1 here in the U.S. with "You Caught My Eye" which is also #1 in Mexico, and it was #1 in the U.K. In the U.K., I have a new number one in an old favorite called "I'm Sailing Away..." which just turmed 20 and became #1 on its 20th birthday, WOW!
On a developing note, I have been accepted to audition for the upcoming program, "America's Got Talent" and will be auditioning in Dallas on March 3rd at the Majestic Theatre. If all goes well in round one then round 2 will take place a few days later. But I'll have to wait and see what will happen.
Keep it tuned right here for further developments.

How hard was it for Walt Winston to top the success of "The Sun Will Rise Again"? It was hard for Walt Winston to top "The Sun Will Rise Again" which had 11 of its 13 singles hit #1 on Beta Records website. 18 Wheels of Mayhem has 2 #1 hits with "Truck Drivers Aren't Supposed To Cry" and "Whoa Mama" which quickly hit the top of the Truck Driving Country Charts on Beta Records website. 30 #1 hits and Walt remains unsigned and undiscovered. What more does Walt Winston have to do to get noticed?

Im not really into hip hop, but I couldn't resist listening to this. OMG, It does remind me of a party I went to and this guy was just passing gas all over the place really stinking up the joint and he was just dancing all by himself wearing stuff from the disco era and finally the guys wife finally encouraged him to open the dance floor for everyone else to dance. He went home happy so what the hey. This song reminds me of that night in Vegas where this happened. Good song Wally

Walt coming off of the success of the single "I'm Sailing Away...."
Walt also recorded three of the four songs from his EP-45 "All I Do Is Daydream in the mix as well. The original title was going to be Knock At My Door, but Walt couldn't get the sound right for that song so the song was finally recorded 3 years later by Walt & Bongo McCray and I'm Sailing Away... was a big hit in St. Louis right from the git-go so that became the title of Walt's first album.

Psychedelic Folk is led by The Waltles first Top 20 hit ever called "Man Of Many Faces" truly a number one song by a number one Folk Act on MP3.com and Man Of Many Faces is a timeless tune that will get you hopping and bopping to Psychedelic Folk at its best. The selection of the songs are fantastic, and The song "Good Morning World" is Walt's songwriting at its finest! Chris Noblin does an excellent job on lead guitar throughout the album and Chris has really developed as a songwriter with "Softly, I Leave You" and
"Feeling Free" and these gems round out an outstanding album. Sit back and enjoy the music.
