Recently, I took up writing again.

I was so against writing any type of fanfiction because I didn't like the idea of messing with other people's creations, but it's really helped me a lot.

I just entered a One-Shot into Portrait Magazine's One-Shot challenge and voting is going on through May.

I haven't left a blog post in ages!

What do the deminsions have to be for the signature banner on here? It's been so long since I've attempted that, that I forget.

I swear, my damn A/C has it in for me. I'm serious! So Thursday night, I had to stay up all night doing homework and needless to say, my energy was kind of low for Friday.. well this evening, I went to bed all happy because I was finally able to get some sleep, and my air conditioner starts flaking out!!!! i mean it is going haywire!

The fan in the A/C keeps changing speeds rapidly and then shutting off!!! I think it's out to get me because I cannot get any type of sleep with it running like this and all I wanna do is see the back of my eyelids and it's not gonna happen Somebody help!

Can someone please tell me why I was so excited to not only get started again with school, but to become an R.A. as well?

Don't get me wrong.. the R.A. thing is great--but I didn't think it would be quite this much of a balancing act between school and the job! I'm just happy that I'm NOT in a freshmen dorm... It's like they get worse and worse every year.. I see some of my colleagues and they are just exhausted CONSTANTLY.... I mean I'm tired, but it's nothing compared to what they must be going through.. I am very thankful to have been placed in an upper-classmen dorm because we've had very few problems so far in this building.

And! School food... let's not even go there.. (for too long, at least ) We pay an astronimical amount of money for our meal-plans and we have some pretty gross food... As displayed here...

And yes--those are green beans in what is apparently supposed to be a type of lasagna.. --we actually have to pay money to eat that!

But cla(sse)s are enjoyable so far!!! So I am excited about that!!! I'm loving my media course Our professor is awesome! The second day of cla(ss) we got to watch music vidoes!! Of course, there was a point to them, but still! I should have signed up for media courses a LONG time again

So I've been absent from the old place for quite a while now.. I've been very busy and have not really had any time to come on that much..

My R.A. training has started and let me tell you how frustrating it is!!!! They have all this stuff they want us to do.. paperwork, bulletin boards, etc.. yet they keep us in sessions ALL DAY LONG! They even occupy our evenings--so we can't get anything done then! Like today--we wasted a whole hour doing a pointless session that didn't even relate to anything.. it was just a goofy session for everybody to have fun with.. now I am all for that, but come on--how do they expect us to get any work done if we are having all of our time occupied?

I mean I love the job so far--it's just a little bit frustrating because there is just no time to get anything done! Like right now, I should be working on my bulletin board, but I don't have a printer available to me to print out stuff for it. The library closes early in the summer, so I don't really have any access to a printer. So I'm pretty much stuck in my room this evening, being un-productive. It's very frustrating.

Perhaps once school actually starts I'll be on-line more! But if you wanted to say hi or anything like that, just message me and I'll try and get back to you if I ever get a minute! Hope this blog finds everybody doing well!
