The latest "original" album released by APC (as of 05-05-05, cool huh?) APC's lead singer is Maynard Keenen, who is also the lead singer of Tool, a similar band but with much more "umph". With Maynard's amazing singing and the eclectic music style, this is deffinitely something that you would want if you like the unique kind of music.

Personally, I love APC. If you've every listened to Tool, it's the same kind of music just with a lighter tone. This album was very dissapointing to me. First of all all it is a bunch of covers, secondly, they are political covers, thirdly, they are bad political covers, and lastly, Maynard just isn't made to sing those bad political covers. So i wouldnt recomend this to many, if you want to hear APC doing somthing different, check out aMotion, which is an album with a bunch of old APC songs but remixed, it's pretty impressive.

The second "major" album released by Evanescence. Unlike the previous, Origin, this album has a much more brighter, pop feel to it. The tracks range from scary-"Tourniquet", to sad-"My Immortal", to hard rock-"Whisper". This is an sction-packed album and I encourage anyone whose tired of the same old stuff to check it out and see how it is.

This is Evanescence first album, contrary to the popular beilief that Fallen was the first. Actually Origin isnt even the first, there were many other albums released when they were more of an underground band. The tracks in this album have many similarities as Fallen, in fact some are the same exact song but a different version of it. Fallen has a more pop feel to the songs and Origin is the darker side. The beautiful vocals of Amy Lee singing those deep lyrics will deffinitely give you something to think about, or just something to sing along with. So if you like songs that have a more deep feel to it and enjoy good lyrics, this is deffinitely something you should check out.

The latest Album thus far produced by Linkin Park(current date: 03-02-05). This is officially the second major album produced, following Hybrid Theory. For what was presented in Hybrid Theory-an angry resentment-this album gives a more "light at the end of the tunnel" feeling. But dont fret, the same artistic genius shown in Hybrid Theory is still present in this album. The uniqueness of this album compared to the others is how Linkin Park plays with different sounds and instruments to create an adictively original melody. For example in track # 11 "Nobody's Listening", they use a japanese flute for the main instrument in the song, simply unforgettable. So if you liked Hybrid Theory you will deffinitely like Meteora, which is a more optimistic version of Hybrid Theory.
