HEYYYYY EVERYONE!!!!

Its been a while. I hope everyone is as GREAT as me right now. I am officially finished YEAR 12 (Senior year). Today at 5:15pm I finished my last exam. Its sooo strange. I have absolutely no responsibility for 5 months. (Well Sorta) and I have Schoolies in like a week. And its my birthday in 3 and a half. I will be 18 So much exciting stuff.

So what will I do? I am pretty sure I am just going to shop, tan, drink and watch DVD's. Yep it's almost summer and its getting pretty toasy here. WOOO. I can relax.

To all those who have exams/study/homework/school. I am deeply sorry.

I'm backk.... Although, the layout still pisses me off.

I am sorry to continue to complain about the new layout. I no you are all probably sick of hearing it, but on September 30 there is a tv.com blackout planned. It means not logging on to the site for that 24-hour period in protest of the new layout. The following day you post a blog on changes you would like to see.

That I am sorry I haven't been on to comment or post any blogs. My school life is all consuming. With exams in a few weeks I don't have a life outside study. If I am not at revision lectures, work or studying I sleep. Very exciting life, I know.

That I HATE the new tv.com layout, its annoying, stupid and confusing. BRING BACK THE OLD LAYOUT!! What do you guys think of it?

I have been watching Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, 90210 and Privileged. I am loving 90210. Privileged shows promise, I am not quite sure what I think of it. One Tree Hill season 6 has been awesome and I a loving Gossip Girl as always. Getting a bit sick of CB though....

I just wanted to come on and say HI and sorry for being MIA, I know I have missed a lot of blogs and stuff but I have been really busy with School, and I will be for the rest of the week. Bahhh year 12 is such a drag. I went and looked at Melbourne Uni on sunday and now I am totally ready for it to be over. It is sooo pretty. I think I could go there for the pretty-ness. Oh and they have an exchange program to NYU, which I would totally want to do. Now all I have to do is get in... (Which is hard).

TV-

I am so excited. Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill start in 2 weeks! On a much sader note, I just found out the this will be One Tree Hills last season I know it can't last forever, but, I don't want it to be over!!

So I thought I was going to go as Wonder Woman, but we went to 3 costume stores, and frankly all of the costumes of her were terrible! They were either too big, too small, or too tacky. So after trying on many, and having a lot of fun with it I decided on....... Little Red Riding Hood Its decently short and has a cape, and its soo funny to wear. I have been hearing about other peoples costumes and it should be fun. Lol, I am so immature, but its so fun to dress up. I will see if I can post some photos

So me and my group have adopted this new exchange student from Italy. She is really sweet and innocent. She is coming to the party as Sandy from 'Grease', should be fun. She didn't really have anyone to hang out with, so I felt bad. So I will be doing lots of tourist stuff with her, lol. Ohh and she has never tried different cuisines before ( like Thai, Indian, Japanese etc. ) only ever Italian. So we are taking her a Thai restaurant tommorrow night Ohh and we taught her a whole bunch of swear words, what they mean and how to use them I swear I am a great influence! haha.

I haven't been on too much in the last couple of days, because I have been reading 'Fearless Fourteen' by Janet Evanovich. It's the 14th book in her Stephanie Plum series. Has anyone else read it? If you haven't I strongly reccomend it! They are based on the life of Stephanie Plum and her job as a Bounty hunter after she loses her other job. Its a light read full of Thrills, Spills and Kills.

How has everyones weekends been? Have you done much? I haven't really. On Friday Night me and some friends went to Urban Burger and then to get Hot Chocolate. Watched the Notebook on Saturday. Again. For only the 100th time. Cried Again. It's such a cute movie. Then today me and my friend got Mango Smoothies, And Bagels (Which we Schmeared :p) And tried on shoes. Suchhh a riveting life I live

Heyyaa Everyone.

This is a Random blog for me to complain So Sorry in Advance. I am a little bit grumpy. Oh I finally reached level 18, I am no longer a crazy Neighbour, but A land Shark . How Has everyones weekends been?

I went to the Football on friday night, we lost. Wasn't fun. So we left early and then me and my friend got lost so we walked around the whole City for like an hour before we got to our train station. And then there were these creepy guys that were having bets on our age Then Saturday I did homework (exciting I know ), then my friend came over and we watched Friends. We are in Season 8 of Re-watching it. I love that show so much. Especially the episode with Brad Pitt and the 'I hate Rachel Green Club'! Then the next morning me and my friend went to this new cafe we found that we really like. They sell 20 different kinds of hot chocolate. And the first time we went they were Uber nice, but this time I got white-chocolate flavoured and it was terrible. It was sooo sweet I could barely drink any of it.

So I have a very blog related song, I swear it never does end. Now that schoolies is organised and we have made all these fun Summer plans, I just want it to be then and not have to be at school and do exams. Today was the First Day back from our Holidays. I can safely say I started it off well. I woke up at 9:40 and yeah I was supposed to be there at 8:40. So I missed my first cl@ss It's probably the first time in my life that I have slept through my alarm. It wasn't a bad day, it just seemed to go on foreeeevvvverrrrrr. And we got Homework and Bleh

How are you all? I haven't been on lately and I would like to say I have been really busy with interesting stuff, but I haven't really. I have just been mucking around, doing bits and pieces, enjoying the holidays.

I went to a party, got dinner a few times, had a movie night, went shopping, hung out with friends and spent as much time in my Pyjama's as I could Ohhh and I saw the Sex and the City movie. I really liked it, but I was so distracted by the fashion I went with my best friend and during the whole movie I would nudge her and be like "Omg look at her shoes! Her bag! The Dress!" Etc. I am not normally like that though. I hate it when people talk during movies, but she had some nice shoes. And I totally want that closet!

And another exciting thing, we finally booked our flights for schoolies! For those who don't know what it is, which is probably most of you. Its a giant three week party for people finishing Highschool this year. We leave on the 27th of November and are there for 2 weeks. I will have my 18th birthday while we are there, which is going to be strange, but one giant celebration.

So I am a little bit excited. School Holidays. Finally.

They are only 2 and half weeks, but that's better than nothing. Because we are in Winter, and half way through the school year its just a short break. I am so pumped for them though. I get to Chilax. I don't think I will do much, just random stuff. For all those on holidays, what are your Plans?

To keep the tradition of song titles as blog titles I was trying to think of a song name that is actually relevant to the blog (For once) and the first song that came to mind was Holiday- By Jet, but when I was trying to think of the lyrics the only ones that came to mind were the ones from Holiday- By Doktor Kosmo's. Anyone that watches One Tree Hill will know it from the time Lucas and Nathan went to get the free HCM tests and it got stuck in the tape player in Nathan's car. It's a Funny song. "Holiday...Holiday... It's the best day.. Ice cream day... I am only happy when I have holiday"

So I was Tagged. I have to write 10 interesting/weird things about myself. I don't like these things.

1. I write a million 'To-Do' lists, but I never ever follow them, and usually loose them

2. If I set an alarm, I always wake up before it goes off. But if I don't I can sleep fine.

3.I am dealthy afraid of spiders. When I was really little I would pick them up (weird, I know) but instead of growing out of a phobia, I grew into one.

4. I hate biting Apples, I have to cut them up.

5. Shopping is my therapy. I like to buy things. Especially shoes. I have four containers of shoes under my bed and a full shoe insert for my closet.

6. I am in no way religious, which somewhat disturbs my parents.

7. I could not live without music. I love finding a great song that I have never heard before.

8. I have laughing attacks. Sometimes I will laugh at something funny and for the next 5 minutes I cannot stop laughing.

Hope everyone is good and that your having a goood weekend. Mine has been alright. Its been pretty chilled. Saturday I went to this big clothing sale for a charity. All big brand stores donated some of their stock to the charity to sell to raise funds. We got there kind of late, like less than an hour before it closed so everything that was on sale they took a further 50% off. So that was good. I got two black jackets (They are different), a blue cardigan, another top and a pair of silver flats. So I was pretty happy with those.

Then Saturday night we went to my friend Nat's house again, because this week she is going on holiday for over a month, so we won't see her. It was alright, but there was soo much drama it was exhausting. Nat has a thing for one of our friends, who has a girlfriend, but he kissed her and Nat won't admit it but she is jealous and was soo rude to his girlfriend to the point where they had to leave. And then someone came a Nat's brother was talking about him and he overheard and then got angry at everyone. And just so much other stuff, it was like a soap opera. So we got out of there pretty quick.

Anyway. I just saw the Grey's Anatomy season finale. I loved it. I think its because I am a big Izzie/Alex fan and they kissed and were very cute. But I am also happy that Merideth worked out some issues and the on and off again saga with Derek will be over. I think that George/Lexie are actually a good suit. I think that it is one of the best Grey's Anatomy episodes I have seen in a while.

I hope everyone is having an excellent weekend. My was pretty fun. We were celebrating mid-year exams being over so me a some friends went out to this cafe for dinner. It was really good. Then we went to our friend Nats place who was having a bunch of people over. That was pretty good. She made a cocktail out of every liquor she could find in their bar. It actually turned out pretty good We played foosball (Man do I suck at that game. I lost twice 5-10), then we made a bonfire and sat outside mucking around. As we were leaving Nat hugged me and spilt her whole cocktail down the back of my coat. I had to put it in to be dry cleaned.

Then Saturday I didn't do much. I babysat my niece, Natasha. She is so gorgeous. She is 5 years old. She is in a card making phase, where she makes cards for everyone. She made me a cat one and put whiskers on it and everything. Very funny.

Then Saturday night marked Trashfest 01. Its this thing me and my friend made up to help celebrate exams being over and letting loose. Basically it is trashy food + trashy booze + trashy music and Trashy movies. By trashy I mean like corny and funny. Anyway we had Tequila and champagne, lollies and chocolate, lots of 80's, spice girls and fun music and '10 things I hate about you'. It ended up being a really fun night. I am a little worried because I don't remember anything after 10pm. Like no memory at all. I have never had that happen, even with drinking I remember most of it. We did the tequila the traditional Lick-it, Slam-it, Suck-it way with the salt and lime and basically danced and sung like maniacs to the music.

Surprisingly today I feel fine. I don't really get hung over its awesome and my footy team Carlton won today YAY! We won by 30 points and are finally in the yop 8!.

MY MID-YEAR EXAM IS OVER!! No more exams until the end of the year. Only the GAT (General Assessed Task, its like a means testing thingy), but you can't study for the GAT. I am sorry for my outburst, but I put so much time and effort into study and preparation I am just relieved its over.

I plan on doing really relaxing things tonight. No homework

We are more than halfway through the week! Woot. This Semester just seems to be dragging on forever, I just want exams and everything to be over. I am completely jealous of anyone of Summer vacation right now. Because I want summer and a vacation

It's Winter where I am and we have been getting really bad fog. This morning I had to walk to school and to get there I take a shortcut across this sport's oval/pitch. As I was walking across it the fog was so heavy I couldn't see the other side or even like 5 meters ahead of me. It was really scary It was all quiet, cold and eerie. You could get lost in it.

Today wasn't very fun, I had a huge Economics test, it is out of 60 and I barely finished 3 pages and I have like another 7 to go and only 50 minutes left. Hmph. Its on Economic growth, full employment and how supply and demand factors can influence their growth targets. Hehe, sounds very exciting doesn't it!! Not. Then I had Legal Studies and I swear we spent most of the lesson talking about the new Green P's (Probationary License). Which suck. It means when we turn 18 we can get our P's and we have to do them for an extra year, making a total of 4 years. And in the first year we are allowed one passenger over a certain age limit and have a 10pm curfew. Pretty stupid if you ask me. Anyway, then I got to go home so I was happy. And mum brought me home Sushi

I hope everyone is having a good weekend! Although its the weekend so I don't see how it could be bad I am savoring what is left of mine. Starting Next week I have a SAC (School assessed criteria), which is like a test everyday next week and 2 on one day. Hmph. Then the following week, we have Mid-year exams! Yay

I have a a pretty good weekend though. Friday night me and some friends went to this Japanese place and had Teppanyaki. Was very fun. I tried squid, which was OK, I am not a very big Seafood fan. But the best bit was when the Chef guy throws the food at you. Those chefs are really talented, what they can do. They cook all the food on the grill in front of you and while he was making the fried rice he was flicking egg at us and we had to catch it in our mouths. I caught it a few times Then once he had made the rice they pack it into a bowl and they throw you an empty bowl and then throw you the bowl of rice and you have to catch it in the empty bowl. I caught it We made him do practice throws with us though The Chef from the other table was pretty crazy and he got one of his guys to go outside and stand across the street and he threw him a bowl of rice, he actually caught it! It is easier than it looks and sounds.

Then yesterday I had a family dinner at this Indian restaurant, called the Rotti Botti. Lol. The food was really really good though. Then my friend came over and we were supposed to hire Sex and the City and watch that, but because of the movie, there was none left to hire or buy. So we ended up playing Buzz. I won, because I am awesome

As I type I am cooking chocolate chip muffins with chocolate icing. They smell really nice. I am having a PJ day. Its far too cold to venture outside. I miss not having good shows on TV.

Heyyy all I Finally got ths blog to work! Yayyy

I hope everyone is great! I am in an exceedingly Happy mood for no particular reason. It's great. I haven't been up to much. Ohh I was on TV the other day Did any Aussies watch the Comedy Festival's Great Debate on monday night? Well if you did you would have seen me. We were there and we went up on stage with a We love Hamish sign and you can see us. Was very funny We got to hug him which was great, because I love him. I got like a million txt messages after it aired and a bunch of people came up and said they saw us. Which was kind of a suprise because we wern't on for very long. Oh well. < Haha I can't stop doing smiley's as you can probably notice. :)

Speaking of TV:

Gossip Girl- Wasn't as good as I thought it would be, but I still love it It seems like that have gone in a bit of a circle. Like with all the couples not together and it being a new year of school and stuff they are basically starting again. But I am looking forward to the Hamptons! I knew that Chuck would do what he did, I feel sorry for B, but I think I like Chuck the way he is, like him being all committed and romantic would be weird. I loved it when B kicked him in the shins. So N/V was pretty pointless. And she is still in love with Dan. Who is rather annoying Hmmm... I don't think I want to see N/S.

One Tree Hill- Bah I hated the end. I need to know who it is, I am not good at waiting for things like this. I keep changing my mind on who Lucas calls. At the moment I think its Peyton. But also maybe Brooke. It better not be Lindsey, so I am not going to consider her I just don't think Brooke would do that to Peyton and Peyton did say it was her dream to say yes. Anyway. Jamie and Gavin were sooo cute at the start of the episode! Was cool how Mouth quit, since apparently he is moving does that mean he is gone from the show? And is Dan dead? I hope not. It was sad Brooke had to give Angie back so soon. Ahh I hate Lucas's hair!! Was funny when Peyton threw the water balloon at his car. And wow to the BB court. Naley scenes were cute as ever. I hope next season picks up a bit. Rachels back

Hii All! I hope everyone has had/is having a good weekend. Mine has been pretty good. Friday was a hard day for a lot of people at my school though. It was the funeral of a girl who died the previous weekend. I didn't really know her but some of my friends did. It was sad, but they are all moving on for her. Friday night after work I went shopping with my friend. We had to find new outfits for the party we were going to Saturday night. I bought these really cute black Mary-Jane heels and this black and white patterned mini dress with three quarter sleeves.

Saturday I didn't do very much, just did the homework I knew I wouldn't do today Saturday night I had a combined 18th Birthday Party. They hired out this underground bar thing for the venue. It was really nice. It worked really well because there were lots of sections like there were pool tables, the D-floor, the Bar area, seated place with couches and stuff and lots of free space. Which was good considering there was probably like 200 people there. It had like a black and red theme through it. My only complaint was the DJ. He didn't know who Corey Hart or the Artic Monkeys were! Hence the blog title All he wanted to play was really hardcore house music, but luckily another guy came and made it better with more of a mix of stuff.

To get in you had to show photo I.D to the bouncer, for the guest list and my friend forgot her I.D so we had to go downstairs and find one of the Birthday girls because they weren't going to let her in. Also If you were underage, like me, the bouncer drew a black X on your hand, so you couldn't go to the bar. Worst idea ever. We rubbed it off as we walked down the stairs.

Like every good party there was lots of drama and fun. Lot's of dancing, drinking and hooking up. There were a few fights and lots of gossip. Pregnancy rumours and someone is supposedly is engaged. Tomorrow should be interesting. The girls put up a $2000 bar tab, but it went in half an hour By the time we got there it was gone. It was a really good night all up, everyone had fun so that was good.

Today I felt a little seedy. I mixed too many different drinks. Plus we didn't go to bed until about 4 am. I am really excited for Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill though I really want to see them, but then after we have to wait 3 months for new episodes

How are we all? Hopefully you are better than me. I have tonsillitis, my throat is so sore and I sound like a frog I have had 3 days off school but I am going tomorrow. I feel a lot better than I did a few days ago though

Aside from being sick I had a pretty good weekend. Friday night I had work, which was joyus fun (I work in a library haha ). Nahh it's not as bad as it sounds. Then after that I went to my friends house to hang out and we watched old episodes of Friends. We watched 'the one with Unagi'. I love that episode, sooo funny. I love the mockery of Unagi with 'Salmon skin roll'.

Saturday was good. I finished my homework then I went to the mall to get my mum her presents for mothers day. And while I was shopping I found these really nice heels reduced from $100 to $60 to $15 from this big stock sale. They are soo nice and down to $15! Then that night 3 of my best friends and I went out to dinner to a Mexican resteraunt. The food was really good, really traditional. We also got lemon margs. They were so good. Its like alcoholic, lemon slurpie. I think the people there thought we were a little insane though, we spent the whole time laughing and taking photos ( We are not the most mature people in the world )

Sunday I woke up feeling sooo sick. We went out for breakfast and I couldn't even eat mine my throat was so sore. I basically spent all of mothers day in bed. Lucky I got mum some nice stuff for mothers day because she spent the day looking after me.

TV-

Gossip Girl- I really liked the Chuck/Nate/Blair/Serena scenes. I really hope they can all become proper friends again. The non- judging breakfast club was cute. I didn't really like Dan in this episode he was all weird. Yay no Jenny either I am still unsure on Nate/Vanessa I didn't really see much chemistry between them. Next week looks sooo good.

One Tree Hill- I felt really sorry for Brooke, I am glad Angie is going to be OK. LOL to Nathan and Deb and Deb/Skillz. Haley and Jamie were really cute. Lucas is jerky little baby. I was hoping after Linday told him what she did he could move on, but what he said to Peyton was so mean. And OMG grrr to the misleading promos!

I thought I would continue with the tradition of a song title as blog title- by John Mayer. ( this is no. 3, surely 3 can be tradition? ) through lack of anything more interesting to call it. So I haven't really been up to anything accept school so I haven't blogged. I do have another funny story though.

There's this girl, academically she is like a total genius, but in like normal practical, life she is totally clueless. Well we were outside and she goes 'Wow it is really windy and there aren't even any tree's around!' and me being my sarcastic self said 'Yeah! Because tree's make wind'. Then she started laughing and patted me on the head ( she is a lot taller than me) and said 'Naww poor Layla didn't think tree's made wind'. So then we started laughing uncontrollably and fell to the floor for like 10 minutes (We were a bit hyper at the time). When we pulled ourselves together we explained to her the notion of high and low pressure systems. She actually thought that tree's made wind because when its windy they are always moving around. This isn't even the best bit. We told somebody her theory and the only thing he thought was wrong with it was that she forgot the ocean. Because the ocean moves the tree's which then create the wind. I love them both but omg.

So onto TV:

Gossip Girl- Loved it. Chuck was being really cute and nice. For Chuck anyway. I loved that Blair won this episodes round And the whole Yuki thing was funny. I am not sure where I stand on the N/V pairing, I am however grateful he is with her not Jenny. Jenny. I don't have to acuse her of being a stupid user, she admitted it herself (haha im soo bitter ). I mean seriously? The poor guy seems to actually like her. Like she has a chance to be queen. Georgina. I am loving her and I can't wait to see what revenge she has planned.

One Tree Hill- Again in comparison to GG it wasn't great. I love Skillz. Him and Peyton and him and Jamie. So cute. Poor Brooke, although I saw it coming anyway. Deb and the clown? Ew. The pilates thing was funny. What Millicent did was really cute. I am going to be repeditive but omg, the whole Lindsay thing has got to stop! Its been dragged on already and its boring! Soo I am not sure about what to think about Dan's D- bomb. I wouldn't be suprised if it wasn't true.
