Slow Night on TV

Well, I only watched the American Idol elimination show last night. I felt bad to see Brandon go, since he was deserving to stay on longer, but since he wasn't in my top 3, then I won't complain.

Tonight brings two shows and sports to my calendar. The first is Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader on Fox. It moves to it's new time tonight at 8 PM. The second is the premiere of Raines with jeff Goldblum on NBC.

FYI, Survivor on CBS will not be seen tonight. It is preempted by March Madness.

Bullrun was great!!! / Tuesday Night TV

Well the hit of the night was Bullrun. I enjoyed the premise and the hour flew by. I 'PVRed' it for my teenaged son to watch. Parents be forewarned, although everything is 'bleeped' out, the show is rated TV-14 for a reason. The editors cut a lot out but the people are downright rude with each other. That said, good cars, interesting people, and the threat of being caught by law enforcement make for entertaining TV in my book.

American Idol was ok. I have to say that we only watched the singing and the judges afterwards. We 'FFed' through everything else for the sake of time. The women kicked the men's butts. Lakisha and Melinda were much better than everybody else. Phil, Gina and Stephanie were a step above. Brandon, Sanjaya and Halley were average. The other 4, Jordan, Blake and both Chrises were rough. I will say, my wife along with the judges did disagree with me about Jordan, so it probably was just me ;-)

I started to watch American Heiress since it was the series debut and I promply fell asleep. 'nuff said.

Tonight brings the elimination show for American Idol on Fox and the series debut of Saints and Sinners on MY.

Good shows

Good shows on last night. The Riches grabbed my attention. I'll tune in to watch more. The Black Donnelly's is just over the top. I've seen the 3 televeised episodes plus the one on NBC.com and although I like the individual characters, I'm having a hard time with the story line. I heard Deal or No Deal was good. I'll have to find it on replay.

I still have to watch 24 from last night and Blood Ties from Sunday night.

Tonight brings 4 shows so I'm not sure what I'll be watching yet. American Idol on Fox, Dirt on fX and two premieres, American Heiress on MY and Bull Run on Spike

Good news in the Penguins are staying in town. Glad to see the 'guins sticking around. Hope they go far in the playoffs.

Part Euphoria / Part Sadness

It's strange, I didn't want to see Rob and Amber win the Amazing Race, but at the same time, I like to see the tension they cause. The All Star show just won't be the same with them gone. I'm not sure who I'm rooting for now.

Deal or No Deal was ok. $200 isn't a lot to win. Some people just don't have any luck.

Robin Hood, Saturday night on BBC America was pretty good. It's good entertainment. Check it out if you like light programming.

Earth Storm, Sci-Fi Saturday night's programming, was a waste of time. To me it was just bad. The only thing worse was Georgetown's destruction of Pitt in the Big East Championship game.

I've got the premiere 2 hour episode of Blood Ties on the DVR. I'm not sure when I'll get to watch it. Monday Night is a good night for TV.

Deal Or No Deal, Heroes, and The Black Donnellys are all on NBC and 24 is on Fox tonight. The good thing is that Heroes is a repeat since I won't be home until after 9 tonight.

Sad Saturday

I wish to offer my condolences to the family of Drea. Even though I'm new and never came in contact with her, I realize that life is short, precious, and must be cherished.

Last night, I enjoyed watching Pitt beat Louisville in the semifinals of the Big East Tournament. Next up is Georgetown.

Tonight I've got that good kiind of dilemna. Three things to watch at 9 PM. First up is the Pitt / Georgetown game. I'm going to time shift Robin Hood on the BBC - America station. Finally, on Sci Fi is Earth Storm.
