Madonna is the first of many female performers today that has taken a music career and made it her own. She\'s created a model of female power that the likes of Mariah, Beyonce, Christina, Gwen use and the list goes on and on. Not many people, including the author who wrote this original article is willing to give her credit where credit is due. Madonna is as relevant today as she was when she came out. Why? Because she continues to show the world that she can still do what she does best..Create a CD full of futuristic dance and pop. I dismiss Steven Thomas\'s article as a biased attemt to join the many people in the music industry trying to write Madonna off. Instead of listenting to his opinion, buy the album for yourself and make your own decision. Take it from me, the album is pure fun and 100% Madonna. She is one of the few artists classified as timeless. We don\'t listen to a Madonna song, or watch a Madonna video and think to ourselves, this woman is turning 50. However, music writers are constantly trying to drive this fact home. My response to that, so what! She has revolutionized pop culture single handedly, and so what if she wants to revisit these roots. They are some pretty danm good ones and she knows this. So Steve, the next time you go and write a review on someones work, keep your bias to yourself and let the album do the actual talking. I bought the album, and I along with many others believe that it is amoung her best work to date. And don\'t think she isn\'t going to work this into the media as hard as she can. And no one can cause a stir like Madonna. Let the excitement begin!
