Green Day's American Idiot tells the story of the life of an average rock star, or in this case, three. Even though the songs are not exactly kid appropiate, it was not geared toward seven year olds anyway. Of course, if the parents of 13 and 14 year olds, heard these lyrics, they would not exactly be pleased. As far as the music goes, the songs are brilliant and true and the vocals are just as good. Bille Joe, Mike, and Tre really did a good job with American Idiot.

Rihanna's Music Of The Sun is her debut CD. When I first bought it, I was expecting great dance music with catchy melodies and extraordinary melodies. What I got were a lot of slow songs. I don't think she reached her potential vocally. Even though I like the songs on this cd, I just don't think it was her full potential.

Even though this cd has catchy melodies, Play seemed to grow up way too fast. The'r looked changed from "tween star" to "desperate wannabe". When their music is popular with kids ages 9-12, who needs a song called "Hot"?? The vocals don't make a lasting impression at all. When I 1st bought this cd I loved it, but now that I have thought a lot, I rate this cd a 7.3.

Tween idol Lindsay Lohan has made an unexpectedly amazing song called "Confessions Of A Broken Heart." The song has an amazing melody and Lindsay actually shows the world the vocals nobody thought she was capable of. It tells the sad story of the relationship with her father. The music video is also addicting to watch. I rate this song a 10 because Lindsay shows her strength vocally and express herself emotionally and tells a personal story of her life through this song.

Carrie has proven hersef worthy of the American Idol title with her debut cd, Some Hearts. The title track Some Hearts says "I thought I'd never find true love but look at me now" and Jesus Take The Wheel says "Appreciate what you got because nothing lasts forever." I rate this cd a 9.5 because the vocals are amazing and the songs are sweet and catchy.
