Cuatro, a safe place for series

Not all in Spanish TV is a chaos. Cuatro is a new born television specialized in series. Alias is airing from the first chapter (it was cancelled in Tele5 years ago, after a bad treatment), initially on the prime time of the Saturdays... but they said "this tremendous series doesn't have the following it deserves and we think the new schedule will make it more accessible for all". Now I can see Alias on the evenings of Saturdays and Sundays. And also I can rediscover La Femme Nikita on the Sunday evnenings, hardly followed on the very late night on Tele5 some years ago.

Now they have recovered V, the classic series about the invasion of earth for the early Saturday and Sundays

Other day I will talk about the new series I've discovered in Cuatro.

What the f*** goes in the mind of TVE programmers?

I said last time that TVE choose to move ER to past midnight, but, without finish the season airing they decided to make it disappear from TV, replacing it by a really bad program (TAG = Tan a gustito, don't confuse it with JAG), moved of the original place (Sunday's evenings) for his bad audience.

With Smallville it's insane. First placing it on prime time, then moving to Friday's night (3 episodes per night, one new with 2 re-aired), then moving without notice to Sunday evening replacing the bad program TAG (re-airing the week episode!!). Today they have a mess with sports broadcast, delaying the scheduled movie 2 hours and making Smallville disappear again without notice.

Go hell, programmers of national TV, I want to see the great series you have bought with the taxes of every Spanish.

ER, another series at midnight

Last January 10 th TVE decided to fill the place of the canceled (and terrible) late show Rufus & Navarro with the first two chapters of ER 11 th season, a wonderful premiere.

Next week, a replace program, a disastrous and boring interview program make ER go to the "habitual" schedule: 0.00h. Sincerely, I don't understand the money wasted in buy the series, make it a promote... now, let's hope they air it all the weeks at same hour till the end of season.

2 days for 4400

Incredible but true.
The TV-programmers gone crazy and the Tuesday night was a hard night (4400, Rome and other programs).

Antena3 decided to air the miniseries 4400 (6 chapters) in only two days (Monday and Tuesday). I don't understand how they get profit of their high-price products. They've been for 3 weeks announcing the series coming and now they burn it in the quickest they can. I don't see the logic in it. Don't they trust in the series?
They could air it along all December a chapter a week, making it the Xmas series. How they are going to air the second season? In just a weekend (6 chapters a night)?
About the series, first 3 hours were normal (maybe a little tedious) the last 3 hours were great (with all the characters advancing and the subplot of the rich man).

Rearing the recently aired

The craziness in TV programmers is insulting the TV viewers. Last week finished the airing of Lost, and they think it was a good idea to re-air it from the beginning just after the last chapter... Well, a good idea, I doubt, but I doubt it more when they have aired 2 chapters per week, finishing the whole season in the half time (or minus, cause the second week they changed it from Sundays to Thursdays).
Same craziness with Desperate Housewives (same channel TVE1), they have aired it in the fastest lane with two chapters per week, and after the last chapter: the first and second again, beginning a re-airing with 3 chapters per week!!
Please, Mr. TV programmers, don't burn your series, a chapter a week is enough, and let us breath before re-air a series.
And for the A3-TV programmers also, please let us breath and NEVER AGAIN show three chapters in a row! (Last season of 24 in just 8 weeks, wow!)
