Have a nice summer!
I just want to wish you all a very nice summer, hope you enjoy it. I've finished all my finals, and I'm going to spend my summer reading a lot, watch a lot of films and not doing anything in particular, except travelling of course. I myself will be spending my summer vacation in Spain for week, then I'm going to a political camp here in Norway.
I took this picture when I was about 10-11 years old. It's one of my favourites.

Oslo - my kind of town
I love Oslo, I always will. This is the town I grew up in - and it's the town I've grown very attached to it. Even though I no longer live in Oslo, I'm more familiar with the city, than the place I live in now. I was born and raised in Oslo, and is a part of my up-bringing. Not to mention the fact that I attend school and have all my friends there.
Yesterday I took a stroll down 'Slottsparken', which is the park that surrounds the castle of our King and Queen. And there's no other place I would rather be. It was so beautiful. It's been rather warm these past few days, so people were wearing shorts and bikini. The flowers were in full bloom and it looked absolutely stunning. All the trees were green and I could breathe the fresh air. As you can see in the pictures I took yesterday, spring's here!
Personally I don't understand those who don't like Oslo. It's absolutely lovely!

Time for an update!
I'm sorry I haven't been good in updating my blog, I've been sick since Easter and I've had so much to do lately. Either way; I just hope you're all fine!

Hello again!
Well, over to an other subject; I finally worked out how to set up my printer, so I've been printing out all these novels and e-books I've found on the net. Don't get me wrong, I prefer hardbacks, but find it necessary to print the stories out first, especially if I have to import them from England etc. Anyways, while I've been searching on the internet, I've been drawn to fan-fiction. I must admit, though maybe not out loud, that it sort of amuses me. I prefer fan-fics about CSI, or Grissom and Sara in particular. Okay, I must sound like some kind of a freak or a geek or something, but the novels and stories are quite exciting really. As the great CSI and Grissom and Sara fan I'm, I can re-live and think of new stories in my head. And I can get my own ending, like them getting together, etc.
I remember some years back I was great fan of the Lois & Clark-series and watched every episode and read every fan-fic I could find. Well, I guess it's the same with CSI now. And finally my printer works, therefore I can print everything I want, which is very satisfing actually. I don't have to be at campus anymore to just print the things I want.
If you're interested yourself I suggest you visit http://www.fanfiction.net. There you can find all kinds of fan-fic. AND if you're a real Grissom and Sara fan I suggest you visit http://www.grissomsararomance.com/. I love that site, there you can find everything from avatar to fan-fics. I can't wait for the next season of CSI. Here in Norway CSI has not yet finished season 6, so I'm longing for that last episode. I did download it though, but it's not the same.
Well, good night!
Oh, just before I go I`ve got to recommend some sites, mine actually, and I would be really glad if you checked them out.
In English: http://yvonnekarate.googlepages.com/home
In Norwegian: http://yvonnekarate.googlepages.com/yvonnesside
My homepage: http://www.geocities.com/yvonne_karatekidgirl/index.html
They are all under construction. On the two first ones I`m working on a new blog etc, so just be patient!
