Honestly I can't believe that the dreamcast will have been a decade ago in Japan this November.

The dreamcast was segas last attempt at winning back the industry with a console like the Sega mega drive (genesis) did. Sega came back with a console far superior to those of the fifth generation of home video game consoles it included, a 200 megahertz processor and a powerful graphics chip similar to segas NAOMI arcade graphics chip, also it had a new format called the GD-ROM which could hold around 1.2 GBS worth of game data. Sega had a chance with this console but it had one obstacle in the way this was the Sega Saturn. The Sega Saturn performed poorly in the console market when it was released due to that games were a nightmare to develop using a multi-core processor like the Saturn had and the play station one stole most of the market by making their console the best 3d console I ever seen (at the time of course). Beyond expectations of the market the Sega dreamcast sold very well selling over 500 units in its first two weeks and had a good line up of great games including sonic adventure which looked so beautiful in full 3d. The dreamcast also had online multi-player. In 1999 the year that the dreamcast was to launch in the US and Europe, Sony came out with the Play Station 2, gamers were amazed with the play station 2 but being far away from release some gamers still supported dreamcast. In March 2000 the PS2 launched in Japan and sold terrifically due to that it was the cheapest DVD player on the market and the dreamcast was known in Japan as last year's thing. Once the PS2 came out in the US it was a HUGE console war and the dreamcast fighted until the very end by dropping its price and bringing more games. But unfortunately in March 2001 Sega came out by saying that the dreamcast was to be discontinued and the company would turn to a software developer bringing games to all consoles. Dreamcast failed to live up to its original plan to own the market but most of us real gamers still have a place in ourselves to remember the dreamcast as one of the best consoles ever.

resident evil an all time classic survival horror game realeased for the ps1 in 1996 it was originaly made by unknown developers this is what made them famous.

Resident evil kicks off as a team called the S.T.A.R.S are caled in to investigate a series of murders happening in the Raccoon Forest.Once they Land the team discovver bravo teams helicopter nobody was in but it was safer than the remaining body of Kevin.Once the crew are searching the area joseph is attacked by a dog which bruttaly kills him this send them all running for cover in wot they find is a mansion but they thought it was safe.Once they look around they find a monster zombie thing eating of Kenneth a stars member of bravo team this is how the horro kicks off.

resident evil 5 for xbox 360 and the ps3 but not much info has been announcced so i wrote this blog to discuus my theories of wot the game might look like.

2.well detailed locations

3.local multiplayer

4.and an emulated version of the first resident evil.

who thinks lost on a video game console is going to look great i myself surfed the net and found out some rumours about the game.

1.the cryengine may be involved to create a realistic jungle enviroment

2.the game might finish with the survivors crashing on the island on september 22 the day they came to the island

3.players will be able to explore all DHARMA stations in LOST

one thing i hate about new consoles is the backwards compatiblity support on the PS3 and X360 for so on the UK list for the PS3 they did not include final fantasy 7 a top class game of all time and also they missed resident evil 2 which is one of my favourite games well at least the ps3 backwards compatiblity isnt as bad as the xbox 360s list and i also have a story about it in december 2005 i bought a copy of dino crisis 3 for the original xbox to play on ma xbox 360 once i banged it in the console an error message comes up saying i can not play it please go to www.xbox.com to check for updates on this game and there hasent been an update with dino crisis 3 yet so a year later i bought and original pre-owned xbox to solve this problem so the wii gets full support for BC and the xbox 360 dosent y dint they just put them all on i hope this happens soon lol.

i thought i would tell you all my experinces at the launches of all 3 consoles the Xbox 360 in 2005 in mojave desert,the wii in New York and the PS3 at GAME in Oxford street london.well first the 360 i won a lucky ticket to zero hour in mojave desert california to take part in the launch of the xbox 360 i flew to LA 3 days before the launch and already the hanger tht it was taking place in was already full of people and fun things to do i myself bought a 360 on launch but i got the 6th last ticket(lucky) i also bought prfect dark zero and king kong with it.The wii was a great time in New York i went to the nintendo store which was crowded with people and wiis to play i was one of the last in line again i got red stell and zelda with my console.And last of all the PS3 launch in london i was in the middile of the que once i heard tht virgin megastores were giving away vs i was ragin because i wasqueing up at game i got motorstorm and sonic with the ps3.
