Paranormal activity

So i went to go see the movie Paranormal activity if you couldn't already guess. It's only playing in select areas so if you havenn't heard of it that would be why. I was so hyped for this movie i heard good things from other people and the previews looked awesome but things weren't meet to be.

I'm not even joking when i say that my fave part of the movie is when the theater lights came on and it was over. I didn't even jump once through the "scary movie" and let's just say that's pretty easy with me. It was seriously boring.

It did leave me on the edge of my seat because i kept thinking something was going to happen but nothing did. I give it a 3 out of 10. If you have to see feel free, but if your on the fence save your money.

I have heard of that movie the last week and see the trailer, i get surprised and want to see the movie, but i get scare easily when something strange happens suddenly on that kinda movies. But i will see it someday and try to not get scared.

Scary movies are really boring nowdays. last scary movie i watched was the orphan. and man did i regreat it? hell yes.

I still need to see ZOMBIELAND , was highly impressed about the movie from your opinion of the movie . W8 , is it running in our theatres atm ?

I haven't watched it yet,but I tend to find movies or shows on such things bizarrely boring and uninteresting. I am not saying that such things do not happen,but often the amateurish way in which they're shot makes them feel as if they've been fabricated.
As for "scary movies",I am not too much into them.
Horror movies are more about atmosphere than camera tricks and spooky special effects.
Hollywood horror movies nowadays rely too much on gore. If I want gore and be entertained,I would rather watch a Tarantino flick.

Never heard of it, like in general lol Might have to look it up, see if its a movie that maybe i should look out for.
I've already gotta bad first impression through your score but there are a few generally awful movies i've found myself to enjoy...ala Ghosts of Mars

Yeah, I downloaded a screener and watched it too and it's just an overly hyped movie... I have to admit it's not horribly bad for a B-movie and a low budget, but if this movie won the ScreamFest Scariest Movie award, I dont wanna see the other movies. I truly feel sorry for anyone who wasted their hard earned money on this. Just download it, watch it, then spend another 30 minutes after thinking what a marketing ploy this was... it kind of reminded me of the way The Blair Witch Project was marketed... come to think of it, TBWP was way better than this movie. Please don't pay to go see this!!!
