Not Aging Gracefully: Celebrities Who Didn't Age So Well
They say that age is just a number, but for some people, age is something they need to fight. As humans, aging is just a natural part of our existence. There are those who age like fine wine, looking better as the years go by. However, there are those who seem to look more and more unattractive as time passes.
Even famous celebrities aren’t safe from looking older. Still, even if time hasn’t been kind to some of them, it’s worth noting that they live their best lives compared to others. Take a look at some celebs who became more and more unrecognizable as they got older.
Val Kilmer, Heartthrob
During his youth, Val Kilmer was considered one of the most successful and attractive actors in the film industry. That is why he became a sought-after celebrity back in the ‘90s.
With his good looks and fit body, he was even cast as Bruce Wayne in the film Batman Forever back in 1991. Before the actor landed the coveted role of Batman, he also starred alongside another Hollywood hottie, Tom Cruise in Top Gun in 1986, which is where he was able to first catch the attention of the viewers.
Val Kilmer Now
As the years went by though, Val Kilmer’s good looks slowly faded away. One of the most noticeable physical changes in the actor was his ballooning weight. What once was a fit and muscular body turned into a body that was quite heavy around the belly. Of course, weight gain means bad news for celebrities, so naturally, Kilmer disappeared from the spotlight.
The actor then made a comeback a few years later when he announced on Twitter that he lost most of his weight and is back at 165 pounds. Whether the actor will be doing big movies again, that we’re not sure of. Let’s just hope he gets back on track soon enough.
Sally Struthers, Gorgeous Blonde
In the 1970s, a newcomer in the film industry, Sally Struthers, quickly became famous and captivated the attention of the American audience when she starred as Gloria Stivic, an outspoken young woman who constantly defends her liberal viewpoints about negative stereotypes and inequality in society, in the hit sitcom All in the Family.
Out of pure chance, the actress landed the role that launched her into stardom. Her blonde hair and pretty face added to the charm of her character.
Sally Struthers Now
You can say that aside from her talent, Sally Struther’s looks played a huge part in her fame. Unfortunately, she’s one of the actresses whose physical appearance changed drastically throughout the years. But looking a whole lot different from her glory days didn’t stop Struthers from doing her job.
Although she completely disappeared from the acting industry, she turned her attention to charity. Struthers became an advocate for the Christian Children's Fund to help starving and needy children in developing nations, which goes to show that you don’t really need good looks to be truly happy.
Mickey Rourke, Total Hottie
We all know Mickey Rourke as one of the hottest guys in the film industry during the ‘80s. His performance in the 1986 film 9½Weeks and 1987's Angel Heart proved to everyone just how sexy the actor is. Despite his growing fame, Rourke decided to venture into boxing in 1991.
Before he even started acting, Rourke trained as a boxer when he was a young boy. Of course, entering such a harsh industry meant that he received numerous jabs on that pretty face of his.
Mickey Rourke Now
Obviously, the actor had to sacrifice his good looks for his love of boxing. His time in the ring damaged a few parts of his face, but that didn’t mean Hollywood didn’t want him back. In fact, the opposite was true. Seeing his new look, Rourke became the perfect guy to portray misfits and misunderstood tough guys.
In 2005, he received his biggest role upon returning to acting in the film Sin City. To date, he is best known for his performance in the 2009 film The Wrestler which earned him a Golden Globe, a BAFTA, and an Oscar nomination.
Kathleen Turner, Pretty Lady
It’s difficult to ignore women as beautiful as Kathleen Turner. Back in the ‘80s, she started becoming more and more popular thanks to her performances in films such as Body Heat, Romancing the Stone, Prizzi's Honor, The War of the Roses, and Peggy Sue Got Married.
Not only did she look good but she sounded good as well. Her sultry voice was the perfect match for an animated character as seductive as Jessica Rabbit, which is why she was chosen to be the voice of the cartoon character in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
Kathleen Turner Now
Then again, time can be cruel as Kathleen Turner’s once slim physique faded away. As she grew older, signs of aging started to show on her. However, that wasn’t the reason why she quit showbiz. In 1990, Turner was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, which left her with extreme pain that made her unable to walk.
The side effect of the medication prescribed to her made her gain weight. Once her illness was treated, she started acting again and even appeared in shows such as Friends, Nip/Tuck, and Californication.
Rupert Everett, Bad Boy
With his deep-set eyes and a stare that would guarantee to make any girl melt, Rupert Everett started being cast as the bad boy in almost every film and show he starred in. Later on, though, he began accepting more different roles, and by different, we mean gay roles.
In 1984, he starred as Julian Mitchell, an openly gay student in a 1930s English school in the film Another Country. He also starred as Julia Roberts’ gay friend in the film My Best Friend's Wedding, where won his second BAFTA and first Golden Globe Award.
Rupert Everett Now
Clearly, Rupert Everett’s age shows on his face which makes him hardly recognizable. His once jet black hair has now turned gray, and his smooth and flawless good-looking face has been replaced with wrinkles, which is just a normal part of growing older.
To prove that he is unrecognizable, we’re sure that many of you weren’t able to notice that he was the ornithologist in the film Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. Lucky for him, his new appearance didn’t get in the way of his acting career.
Lara Flynn Boyle, A Classic Beauty
Twin Peaks wouldn’t be complete without Lara Flynn Boyle playing the role of Donna Hayward. The ‘80s cult television series was truly ahead of its time, and it was one of the reasons why the actress achieved fame and success if you’re not taking into account her unbelievably pretty face. Being able to show off her skill in acting and her beauty on the show opened many doors for Lara.
She is also known for starring as Assistant District Attorney Helen Gamble in the ABC television series The Practice for which she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
Lara Flynn Boyle Now
No matter how beautiful she is, it didn’t seem to be enough for Lara Flynn Boyle that she sought the help of plastic surgeons to make her even more beautiful. Unfortunately, the complete opposite happened, and her once-pretty face has now been damaged.
One plastic surgeon even made a comment on the actress’s face saying, "Her face looks like its melting. Now it's deflated." It seems as though Lara is one of the many actresses who gave in to the pressure of maintaining her youthful appearance.
Mark Hamill, A Young Skywalker
We bet there is no person who has watched the original Star Wars trilogy who didn’t fall in love with Mark Hamill as he played the role of Luke Skywalker. While many people expected Hamill’s career to take off thanks to his iconic role, the opposite happened.
Casting him in other roles was extremely difficult since it was hard to look at him as someone other than Luke Skywalker. Because producers didn’t want an actor who will be viewed as a character from a different movie, Hamill ended up doing voice overs instead.
Mark Hamill Now
Since he mostly worked behind the scenes, it seems as though Mark Hamill didn’t pay any attention to how he looked, so old age got the best of him. As the years passed, the actor let his former self slip away and became a bit more comfortable with whatever his appearance was.
The aftermath of his injuries from the car crash he endured following the first Star Wars movie also showed on his face. Eventually, the producers of the new Star Wars films urged him to bring back his former glory as he was set to make a comeback on the big screen.
Igor and Grichka Bogdanov, Double Wonder
Seeing not just one but two similar-looking attractive guys will surely get anyone’s attention, which explains why French twins Igor and Grichka Bogdanov easily rose to fame. The duo was famous during the ‘70s for presenting various subjects in science fiction, popular science, and cosmology.
However, their names made even more waves as they were involved in what is known as the Bogdanov affair, which claims that the brothers wrote nonsensical advanced physics papers and were published in reputable scientific journals.
The Twins Now
For years, the brothers were considered heartthrobs due to their handsome faces, but as they approached the late ‘90s, the twins’ appearance started to change drastically. Both Igor and Grichka took interest in cosmetic surgery and simply couldn’t get enough of it.
They had one procedure done after the other on their faces until they ended up looking nowhere near their former selves. In order to still look like twins despite going under the knife, the brothers always had their surgeries done at the same time.
Axl Rose, Rockstar Hottie
Whether we like it or not, there’s really just something so captivating about rock stars that many people always end up falling for them. During the late ‘80s, rockstars dominated the scene, and at the top of the ladder was the lead vocalist and lyricist of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses, Axl Rose.
As the group’s frontman, of course, Axl had to be good-looking. He was known not just for his amazing voice but also for being a bit unruly when he’s performing.
Axl Rose Now
Like all people, rockstars age too, and Axl Rose not just looked older, but he became a bit heavier too. Once known for having a tight body that could make any girl lose herself, the rock singer spent his time off the stage bingeing, not on booze or other substances but on food.
It’s kind of a better idea though if you think about it with all the reports of former rockstars losing their way as they battle substance abuse. Although he may not look like it, Axl still pretty much sounds like a rock god and is slowly making a comeback in the music scene.
Jocelyn Wildenstein, Classy Socialite
Can you imagine being a powerful woman in the midst of a male-dominated world? American socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein doesn’t have to, because she’s already living the dream of many women all over the world.
Wildenstein wasn’t just immensely rich, she was also highly attractive, which explains why she was able to gain a lot of friends from high places. It is rumored that she used to spend over $60,000 a year in personal telephone calls and half a million dollars for wine. Imagine just how wealthy she truly is!
Jocelyn Wildenstein Now
Sometimes, having too much money means you don’t even know where to spend it anymore. Her marriage with Alec Wildenstein, a wealthy art dealer with an aristocratic background did nothing but add to her already wealthy status.
Since she has so much money to spend, she decided to get cosmetic procedures done to her… a lot of it! Being the lavish woman that she is, Wildenstein had one procedure done after the other. There’s no telling when or if she’ll stop at this point.
Catherine Bach, Sexy Daisy Duke
Every woman in the world has Catherine Bach to thank for popularizing “daisy dukes,” a type of cut-off denim shorts that became her signature outfit in the television series The Dukes of Hazzard.
Playing the character of the same name as the clothing item she invented, Bach became one of the most desirable women of her time. Since her clothing on the show highlighted much of her legs, it was rumored that she got them insured for $1 million dollars.
Catherine Bach Now
It’s hard to believe that the once desired Daisy Duke of The Duke’s of Hazzard now looks like a completely different person. When the show ended, things went downhill for Bach. Like other actors whose role became too iconic, the actress was unable to land herself other projects since she was associated too much with Daisy Duke.
The lack of new projects gave her more time to focus on her children. Since she was out of the limelight for too long, Bach wasn’t able to maintain her once youthful appearance and focused on other things instead.
Geena Davis, Desirable Star
There’s no doubt that Geena Davis’ performance in the films Beetlejuice and then Thelma and Louise is what propelled her to be a successful Hollywood actress. Thanks to her box office success, the actress easily made headlines. She became even more famous when she married fellow Hollywood star Jeff Goldblum in 1987.
The couple became one of the hottest and most talked-about couples in Tinseltown during that time, so naturally, they started raking in even more projects. Davis went on to star in more noteworthy films such as A League of Their Own.
Geena Davis Now
We can’t say that the years haven’t been kind to Geena Davis, but a lot of people will definitely notice a huge change in her appearance. At the age of 64, Davis is still a sought after actress, starring in shows such as the horror television series The Exorcist.
Although her career is still stable, Davis makes it a point to be involved in other more relevant activities such as humanitarian and charitable campaigns. In 2007, she launched the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media.
Boy George and Culture Club
The Culture Club was one of the most famous bands back in the ‘80s. With hits such as Karma Chameleon, Time (Clock of the Heart), and Do You Really Want to Hurt Me, the band rapidly achieved stardom and was able to sell millions of copies of their albums.
As if the band wasn’t gaining enough attention, its lead singer Boy George had gained a huge following not only because of his amazing vocals but also because of his unique sense of style.
Boy George Now
Boy George was known for adding lots of colors to his outfit and his face. If you were to ask someone to describe the singer, they would easily describe him as a man wearing an extensive amount of makeup on his face.
Even after Culture Club disbanded, Boy George retained his style, only this time with a lot less color. Obviously, rocking an ‘80s look during this time and at the age of 59, the singer seems to look a bit out of place. Then again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and Boy George is free to dress however he wants to.
Cybill Shepherd, Angelic Face
Cybill Shepherd’s role as Betsy in Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver is admittedly what cemented her career as an actress. Starring alongside Robert DeNiro caught the attention of many people thus propelling her to fame.
In the 1980s, her fame grew even more in the TV show Moonlighting where she played Maddie Hayes, the owner of a failing detective agency and the love interest of Bruce Willis’ character. The on-screen couple became an instant hit, and their show lasted for about four years.
Cybill Shepherd Now
Naturally, Cybill Shepherd’s days as a leading lady were all gone, and her once youthful face started to age. Although she is still quite attractive despite her age, she looks way different than she was when she was younger.
Her career in acting didn’t slow down a lot though as she starred on television shows such as The L Word and Psych as well as in Criminal Minds and The Client List. It’s safe to say that this actress will be receiving some more projects very soon.
Caitlin Jenner, Powerful Woman
When Caitlin Jenner, better known as Bruce Jenner, first revealed to the public that she was a trans woman, everyone couldn’t believe it. Since she had a reputation for being an athletic person and a strict father before she made her revelation, a lot of people were definitely left feeling confused.
Still, being true to herself and breaking away from her former identity made this powerful woman glow more than ever. You’ve got to admit, Caitlin was just as beautiful as her daughters when she first showed herself in public as a trans woman.
Caitlin Jenner Now
Of course, shifting from male to female required a few surgeries here and there. As we all know, having too much surgery done has its consequences, in the long run, something that Caitlin had to learn the hard way.
When she became a contestant on I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, that’s when Caitly realized that she wasn’t happy with how she looks. According to her, "It takes a little longer to get ready but now I can be myself all day.”
Bruce Willis, Macho Man
Throughout his career, Bruce Willis has been famous for being an action star. His portrayal of John McClane - the cop turned vigilante - in the Die Hard series of movies is responsible for that. But before he was known as the macho man of Hollywood, Willis began his career in off-Broadway stage shows.
The success of his acting career earned him numerous awards. He has also appeared in more than 60 movies and even more TV shows which added to his appeal as a great actor.
Bruce Willis Now
We don't think many people were surprised to see Bruce Willis lose all his hair. Even during his earlier years in acting, everyone already had an inkling that the actor would go bald at some point in his life. True enough, the Die Hard actor was left with no hair as he grew older.
The remarkable thing is, the more hair he lost, the more projects he received. In fact, he is still one of the most successful and highest-earning actors in Hollywood. Take that!
Kelly Le Brock, Fantasy Woman
We’re all aware that other actors spend a great deal of time building their portfolios and proving that they have plenty of celebrity material running through their veins. Then again, there are a few lucky ones who don’t have to prove so much about their knack for acting, just like Kelly Le Brock.
From the first time she appeared on screen, she quickly became an instant hit. Starring alongside Gene Wilder in The Woman in Red catapulted Brock to fame.
Kelly Le Brock Now
It’s not hard to understand why some young and beautiful actresses feel the pressure to preserve their youth and turn to the help of surgeons who just end up doing more damage to their otherwise beautiful faces. Like her youth, Le Brock’s career is far behind her.
She is one of the unfortunate Hollywood celebs to end her career in acting due to a few personal problems, such as her divorce from her ex-husband, Steven Seagal. It’s true that you really can’t have it all.
Chuck Norris, Defying Odds
In recent years, Chuck Norris became such a famous star, not because he starred in any new films, but because of the funny memes which featured him, that circulated the internet.
One example of a meme that joked about how tough he is included, “Chuck Norris doesn’t turn on the shower. He just stares at it until it starts to cry.” Not only did he become famous for his skill in martial arts but also for his handsome and masculine appearance.
Chuck Norris Now
While we all would like to believe that Chuck Norris is immortal, time has taken a toll on him too, but not too much. As you can see, the actor is still very much active in his career. He recently appeared in The Expendables series of movies.
Even though most people think of him as this ruthless guy, in real life, Norris is a devout Christian. When he’s not acting, he spends a great deal of time focusing on his family and sharing updates about them on his social media account.
Whoopi Goldberg, Prime Years
Known as one of the most successful comedians in Hollywood, Whoopi Goldberg came to be known for her witty comebacks and hilarious facial expressions in each film she has ever starred in. She got her breakthrough role in 1985 as a mistreated woman named Celie in the film The Color Purple.
This movie earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress and her first ever Golden Globe Award. But it was her role in the 1990 movie Ghost that really got her noticed as an esteemed actress in the film industry.
Whoopi Goldberg Now
They say that laughter keeps people looking young, but clearly, the times have also caught up with comedian Whoopi Goldberg. Through the years, she clearly gained a few pounds and has a head full of white hair now.
But, it’s a normal part of existing, and the actress should clearly be praised for not giving in to the temptation of having any plastic surgery done to her face. Aside from putting on a few extra pounds, nothing really much has changed about the actress.
Wayne Newton, Boy Next Door
While Wayne Newton was widely regarded as a terrific singer, he was also noted for his boy-next-door look. He is also known as one of the best-known entertainers to come from Las Vegas, releasing one hit song after the other such as Daddy, Don't You Walk so Fast and Years which became part of the Billboard Top 100 list.
His most famous song though is Danke Schoen which was used as one of the songs for the film Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
Wayne Newton Now
While he did enjoy quite a successful career in his youth, things haven’t been running smoothly in the life of Wayne Newton as he grew older. Not only were his finances in complete turmoil, but he also had to deal with his ever-changing appearance that is brought about by old age.
The man whom we all grew to know as “Mr. Entertainment” spent much of the 2000s in court being sued for various forms of financial mismanagement. By 2012, he finally filed for bankruptcy.
Linda Evans, Dazzling Star
We all know that Linda Evans rose to fame due to her role as Krystle Carrington in the smash hit super soap of the 1980s, Dynasty. Starring in this show marked her career as a successful actress and one of the most desired women in the entire film industry.
She gave life to the character of Krystle for nearly eight years and was a hit for many American viewers. She was even nominated for the Golden Globes in five consecutive years for her role.
Linda Evans Now
Of course, nothing lasts forever, and that includes the youthful appearance of Linda Evans. And so, she also turned to plastic surgeons for help. Although what they did on Evans’ face wasn’t the best, it certainly isn’t the worst we’ve seen here on our list.
If anyone can recall, the actress was featured in Playboy in 1971 for her breathtaking good looks. The pressure of looking the same way for many years must have taken a toll on her, which is why she gave in to having cosmetic surgery.
John Travolta, Saturday Night Fever
We cannot deny it, but John Travolta truly won us over when he starred as Tony Manero in Saturday Night Fever and Danny Zuko in Grease. His talent in acting, singing, and dancing was quite impressive, especially for the ladies.
To add to his talent, his good looks also greatly contributed to his charm (just look at that manly cleft chin), which is why he is still one of the most successful actors in Hollywood today despite starting his acting career in the ‘70s.
John Travolta Now
Once having a full head of hair, John Travolta started going bald as he grew older, something that not many of his fans really expected. As a young man, one of Travolta's assets was his glorious mane that added to his overall appeal.
But, it seems as though he is one of the many men around the world who had to let go of his crowning glory. Other than losing his hair, the actor has a few wrinkles here and there, which is normal. If we're being really honest, he still looks good at his age.
Goldie Hawn, Superstar
Who wouldn’t notice an actress with big blue eyes and flowing blonde hair? No one does, and that’s why Goldie Hawn easily became one of the many award-winning actresses in Hollywood.
Her performance in the film Cactus Flower earned the actress her first Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and was followed by another Academy Award for starring in the movie Private Benjamin. Clearly, it took more than just her beautiful face and blonde hair to get her where she is now.
Goldie Hawn Now
Like any normal human being, Goldie Hawn now looks like what a 75-year-old woman should look like, and that’s ok. Having a long-spanning career in Hollywood definitely takes a toll on any person, and the actress is surely feeling the effects of her sleepless nights and busy days.
Even though she has aged a lot since her glory days, she is still happily in a relationship with fellow Hollywood celebrity Kurt Russel. Lucky for Hawn, she was able to pass down her beauty to her daughter, Kate Hudson.
Edward Furlong, Good-Looking Guy
Like a few lucky celebrities, Edward Furlong also had a great start to his career as an actor. He won Teen Idol and then starred as John Connor in Terminator 2: Judgement Day, which pretty much became a head-start for his budding career.
He also landed roles in other shows such as Pet Sematary Two, American Heart, Detroit Rock City, The Green Hornet, and A Home of Our Own. Although he did have a successful run throughout the ‘90s, his star began to fade eventually.
Edward Furlong Now
Sadly, Edward Furlong went down the wrong path and his life began to spiral out of control. His acting career began to crumble and he started abusing illegal substances which landed him in court and eventually jail. He finally ended up in rehab in October 2000.
He said; "I was a heroin and cocaine addict. It was really scary. I don't even think about [partying] anymore. It seems lonely now: running and clubbing and doing coke. I have nightmares about doing hard drugs."
Jackie Stallone, Mother of Rocky
A strong woman such as Jackie Stallone is no doubt capable of raiding two fine men such as Sylvester Stallone and Frank Stallone. Her colorful personality and involvement in the lives of her children surely caught the attention of the media.
While her kids have enjoyed their own successful careers, mama Stallone also had her own run as a celebrity too when she appeared in the UK's Celebrity Big Brother in 2005. She is perhaps one of the few famous celebrity moms in history.
Jackie Stallone Now
Much like her son, Sylvester Stallone, mama Stallone also made herself busy with all the cosmetic procedures she had done to her face. One could definitely take so many cosmetic procedures, and it’s obvious that Jackie has had one too many. She even admitted at one point that the surgeries done on her were botched.
But then again, the longing to look as young as possible is stronger than the fear of having a surgery gone wrong. There would be no more procedures for her though as she passed away in 2020 during her sleep.
Janice Dickinson, Top Model
Many people believe that Janice Dickinson was the first-ever supermodel in the world of fashion. Thanks to her confidence and beautiful face, she managed to score a lot of modeling projects during the run of her career. She even published a memoir, No Lifeguard on Duty: The Accidental Life of the World’s First Supermodel.
Yes, Dickinson was all that and more. While she had a successful modeling career, she almost didn’t make it since she was turned down several times, with agencies citing "she was much too ethnic."
Janice Dickinson Now
The pressure of being a top model obviously pinned down on Janice Dickinson, of course, she must have noticed at one point that she was getting fewer and fewer offers in modeling. So, she decided to start her own modeling agency instead.
Despite this, she still resorted to having cosmetic procedures done on her too. Sadly, it ended up taking away her youthful appearance as with other people who had plastic surgery. She opened up about this in her memoir Everything About Me is Fake… And I'm Perfect.
Johnny Depp, 90's Dreamboat
No one would dare question why Johnny Depp is considered by many women as the hottest man alive. Just take a look at his defined bone structure and chiseled jaw and you'll see exactly what we're talking about.
His British accent also helps a lot in adding to his already strong appeal, so it's not surprising at all why women swoon over him. His versatility when it comes to acting also caught the attention of many people, making Depp one of the most sought-after actors of our generation.
Johnny Depp Now
As an older guy, Johnny Depp still definitely hasn’t lost his touch, although admittedly, the signs of aging have started to show on his otherwise attractive face. His demand in Hollywood though still hasn’t faltered as he still has many projects on the pipeline.
Recently though, his film projects have been put on hold due to the dispute between him and his ex-wife Amber Heard who has been accused of verbally and physically abusing the actor. Most of the favor fell on Heard and Depp was asked to step down from his role as Gellert Grindelwald in the Fantastic Beasts franchise by Warner Bros.
Elsa Patton, Hot Momma
Elsa Patton, or more commonly referred to as Mama Elsa, has caught the attention of people when she first appeared as a star of The Real Housewives of Miami. Her influence on the show was so great that she was even given her own spin-off, titled Havana Elsa.
Unfortunately, the show was canceled when Mama Elsa was involved in an accident which resulted in a grave injury. Before she became a star though, Mama Elsa was noted for her banging body and beautiful face which can be seen in this photo.
Elsa Patton Now
Like many other good and beautiful things in the world, plastic surgeons had to screw up Mama Elsa’s face as well. Even her own daughter, Marysol is guilty of getting plastic surgery done even though the procedures done on her own mother failed big time.
She said when her mother had her eyelids done in the 1980s it; "gave her hematomas on her eyes for like three years." Marysol also admitted that the surgeries her mother underwent made her unrecognizable and looked far from what she looked like before.
Cayetana Fitz-James Stuart, Charming Duchess
Cayetana Fitz-James Stuart is the only non-Hollywood celebrity on our list, but that doesn’t mean she’s not noteworthy. As the 18th Duchess of Alba, Cayetana was among the richest people in the world.
She was even rumored to have spent a lot of money on her wedding that it could rival the expenses on the wedding of the Queen of England herself. During her prime years, Cayetana resembled some famous women in Hollywood, so you could say that she was quite an attractive woman.
Cayetana Fitz-James Stuart Now
Even royalty isn’t safe from old age. Cayetana de Alba, who was known for being one of the most beautiful people born in royalty became hardly recognizable as she grew older. But most people would be surprised to know that even at her old age, Cayetana was still very much popular with men, although we doubt they noticed her because of her looks.
Cruel as it may seem, many of her last few lovers were mostly just in it for the money. But, Cayetana was smart, and she left out her last husband from her will.
Suzanne Somers, Blonde Siren
Another blonde beauty on our list, Suzanne Somers rose to fame for her role as Chrissy Snow in Three's Company, an American TV show based on a British show Man About the House. It sounds strange, which is what it is exactly.
But despite its weirdness, the show managed to last eight long seasons while the British version lasted six, which is still pretty long. Her role as Carol Lambert in Step-by-Step is what truly made her one of America's favorite sitcom actresses.
Suzanne Somers Now
Although she did grow older, it’s not even obvious that Suzanne is already in her seventies. Even though it’s staring us all in the face, the actress denies ever having any plastic surgery done on her face.
As it turns out, she is an advocate of holistic and alternative medicine so having plastic surgery done on her would be quite strange if ever it were true. All we can say is, whatever she’s taking, maybe she could also give us some because she really looks good for her age.
Nicole Eggert, Baywatch Babe
Not just any woman can be a part of the cast of Baywatch. Aside from having great acting skills and a banging body, one also needed to have a pretty face. Luckily for Nicole Eggert, she had all three.
At the age of five years old, her beauty was already very much apparent as she joined children’s beauty pageants. As an adult, she retained much of her beauty and she was eventually given the role of Summer Quinn in the lifeguard drama Baywatch.
Nicole Eggert Now
Not even a Baywatch babe like Nicole Eggert is safe from the perils of aging. Once Baywatch ended, Eggert's career pretty much came to a halt as well. Since there was no need for her to wear the signature red Baywatch bikini anymore, Eggert gained a few extra pounds which come with growing older.
Although she didn't receive any more starring roles, she did appear in a few reality shows after her stint as Summer Quinn. Today, Eggert owns her own ice cream company named Scoops.
Lil' Kim, Rapping Icon
It’s not unusual for a woman to rap, but back in the day, it surely was. So, female rappers like Lil’ Kim were quite rare and quite astounding too, whereas today, a lot of female rappers are showing up one by one.
Lil’ Kim started rapping when she was just a teenager and it quickly became her passion. She rose to fame when she got involved with the famous rapper, Notorious B.I.G. when she was only 19 years old.
Lil’ Kim Now
Most people thought Lil’ Kim would eventually stop with all the cosmetic procedures she was doing on her face at some point. However, she ended up having even more procedures done. Remember, cosmetic surgery isn’t really meant to do much damage to a person’s face if they only knew when to stop.
A huge chunk of her career was spent settling legal and financial issues. The rest of the money she earned was spent on plastic surgery as can be seen in her drastic transformation.
Donatella Versace, Fashion Queen
The Italian fashion designer, Donatella Versace, is widely regarded for her trendy and iconic creations. But above all that, the fashion mogul is also famous for changing the world of fashion. Throughout her career, she has dressed a multitude of A-list celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Kate Hudson, Blake Lively, Angelina Jolie, Katy Perry, Cheryl Cole, January Jones, among others.
While she is quite famous for coming up with new trendy clothes, Donatella has a style of her own. She's mostly regarded for her blonde hair and tanned skin, but that soon will change drastically over the years.
Donatella Versace Now
Even the most fashionable woman in the world became deeply obsessed with cosmetic procedures. If you ask anyone, Donatella Versace might have one too many procedures done on her once pretty face.
It’s truly hard to imagine how a wealthy person such as Donatella would end up in the hands of the wrong cosmetic surgeon and have a botched procedure done on her face. Despite this, it seems as though she is unfazed by the comments of many people and still insists on going under the knife some more.
Courteney Cox, ‘Friends’ Sweetheart
Her time as Monica Gellar in the hit TV sitcom, Friends is definitely what launched the career of Courtney Cox, making her one of the most famous women in Hollywood. She even received seven Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for her performance on the show.
Throughout her career, her dark hair and delicate features became her trademark look. Even while being part of the Friends cast, Cox was offered many projects such as Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and Mothers and Daughters.
Courteney Cox Now
As expected, Courtney Cox also went through numerous cosmetic procedures to keep herself looking young, thus helping her land more roles in various films and shows. She later starred in the series Cougartown and Dirt, as well as in the Scream film franchise.
As her cosmetic procedures are becoming more and more obvious, she opened up about it on an episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls where she said that she has taken it a bit too far in an effort to retain a youthful appearance.
Joan Van Ark, Adorable Woman
Famous for her role of Valene Ewing on the long-running series Dallas, Joan Van Ark won our hearts due to her incredible acting and her beauty. She did such a good job on the show that she managed to reprise her role on 13 seasons of the show’s spin-off, Knot’s Landing.
She also starred in other shows including Love Boat, The Six Million Dollar Man, Bonanza, and M*A*S*H. Her performance in these shows didn’t go unnoticed though as she won the Soap Opera Digest Award two times.
Joan Van Ark Now
Fast forward to today and Joan Van Ark ended up leaving her fans in shock due to the drastic change and insane amount of plastic surgery she had done on her face. According to plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn, a number of procedures might have been done on her face.
He said, “I suspect she’s had at least one facelift, if not two, causing her neckline and jawline to look tight. Her forehead is smooth and wrinkle-free, a possible consequence of a brow lift and Botox.”
Keith Richards, Rolling Stone
We remember Keith Richards as the guitarist who revolutionized rock and roll by adding elements of the blues. It didn't hurt his legacy that he was part of the Rolling Stones. He is responsible for delivering some of the best hits of all time.
From Before They Make Me Run to ballads like Thief in the Night, his melodies will always be the stuff of legends. We also happen to know Richards' unhealthy rockstar habits, as well. Even Richards knew that it would catch up to him soon enough.
Keith Richards Now
After years of substance abuse and smoking, Keith Richards' old habits have finally shown. Of course, that hasn't stopped him from performing and touring. He and the Rolling Stones still played gigs back in 2019. Most importantly, Richards is now proudly sober.
He also finally quit cigarettes in 2019, after learning that it causes premature aging. Still, he has a good attitude towards growing old. In his own words, "We age not by holding on to youth, but by letting ourselves grow and embracing whatever youthful parts remain."
Slash, Rock and Roll Demon
The Guns N' Roses guitarist doesn't need an introduction. Anyone can recognize the hat, hair, and shades combo on stage. Slash is still best known for his work with the band. Although his side projects have achieved success, as well.
Throughout his career, he has received both critical and commercial acclaim. That is why he is considered one of the greatest and most influential guitarists in rock history. And like any other rockstar, he indulged in a hedonistic lifestyle, too.
The Guns N' Roses were always notorious for their wild behavior off the stage. They partied hard and partied a lot. The late nights, booze, and substance abuse have all contributed to its members' premature aging.
We can clearly see it in Axl Rose and Slash. If it weren't for the iconic top hat, hair, and all, it is pretty hard to recognize Slash. At least he has been sober now for more than 15 years. He has been eating healthier now, as well. He is even into cardio now. It is never too late to change your habits, after all.

Pamela Anderson Now
These days, Pamela Anderson has slowed down. She has taken a step back from modeling and the entertainment industry. We still see her appear here and there. Sadly, most of the time, people have ridiculed her for the noticeable difference in her cheeks, lips, and nose.
Some of it, you can probably just chalk up to part of the natural order of aging. It happens to all of us. However, critics feel that the drastic changes to her look are more because of some questionable plastic surgery decisions.
Macaulay Culkin, 'Home Alone' child prodigy
Macaulay Culkin was only 10 years old when he starred as Kevin McCallister in the hit comedy Home Alone. It was the film that turned him into a superstar. He is often regarded as one of the most successful child actors of not only his era but in history.
He semi-retired from acting at the age of 14. As with the troubling trend of child stars, he has faced a few bumps along the way. In 2004, Culkin was even arrested in Oklahoma City for controlled substances possession.
Macaulay Culkin Now
He might not be as cute as he once was. But hey, who stays that cute for 40 years? Perhaps some of those boyish features didn't age so gracefully. These days, Macaulay Culkin has opted for a quieter life outside of the spotlight.
He has also repeatedly denied claims of hard drug abuse. In the past years, he has focused on his New York-based, pizza-themed comedy rock band The Pizza Underground. He has also appeared in some independent films. Culkin will soon be part of the 10th season of American Horror Story.

Kelly McGillis Now

She told E.T., "I look age-appropriate for what my age is, and that is not what that whole scene is about. I’d much rather feel absolutely secure in my skin and who and what I am at my age as opposed to placing a value on all that other stuff.”
Carrot Top, King of Prop Comedy
While critics are divided on Carrot Top's actual performances, his mass appeal remains. The comedian is best known for his brand of prop comedy and satire. This has made him one of the most popular comedians in America.
He still has one of the longest-running stand-up acts in the country with his Las Vegas shows at the Luxor Hotel and Casino. The so-called "King of Prop Comedy" is a one-man circus for everyone to see. Yet, for some reason, he has received little-to-no attention from big studios.
Carrot Top Now
Those locks couldn't stay forever. But hey at least he has tried. Now in his '50s, Carrot Top has tried his best to maintain his hair. Sadly, father time is undefeated. He does like to stay in shape though. Many fans were surprised to see him get buff over the years.

Bardot has also been a recording artist, releasing a handful of albums back in the '60s and '70s. Most people still associate Bardot with the supposed "sex kitten" ideal of her era. But for someone who once rejected the French Legion of Honour, she is so much more than her sexuality.

With martial arts films like Hard to Kill and Under Siege, Steven Seagal was one of the most coveted action stars of the late '80s and '90s. He is a 7th-dan black belt in aikido, beginning his adult life as a martial arts instruction in Japan.
This stone-faced martial arts expert and his ponytail became almost mystical on screen. He was famous during an era that wanted action laced with international crime. This is why Seagal ruled the box office for many years.
Steven Seagal Now

Madonna can sometimes be unfairly ridiculed because of plastic surgery rumors. While we all may agree that a regular 60-something-year-old woman does look very different from the Queen of Pop, she is just a mere victim of the business.
The entertainment industry is especially nitpicky towards women. Nevertheless, the changes in her look have not stopped her from being relevant. She is now enjoying her living legend status. Kate Moss Now
Today, Kate Moss remains one of the most famous supermodels in the world. However, she is not the same 14-year-old girl who had yet to set foot on the runways. She is now in her 40s and her decades of drinking and partying have seemingly aged her.

Even without his numerous accolades, Pacino can effortlessly capture the audience's attention with his incredible appeal. His deep-set eyes are more than enough to convey the feelings of his tortured characters. It's no wonder his career stood the test of time.
Al Pacino Now
Of course, Al Pacino cannot play the same smooth and suave character all the time. Clearly, he has to move on to other roles and inevitably grow old as well. He is now in his 80s but you can still spot the handsome actor within him behind those wrinkles and grizzles.
Once that overgrown hair and inappropriate goatee have been styled, Pacino might probably resemble the man he was during his prime. Regardless of whatever he chooses to do with his looks, his immense talent will surely never go away.
Mike Tyson, Legendary Boxer
Try to forget his legendary pet tigers for a second and let's focus on the boxing legend himself, Mike Tyson. This world-famous athlete made waves in the ring from the late '80s to the early '00s. During that period of time, he has earned a couple of nicknames such as "Iron Mike" and "The Baddest Man on the Planet."
For three years, Tyson reigned as the undisputed world heavyweight champion. That's just one of his accomplishments as a boxer. He also holds the record as the youngest boxer to win a heavyweight title.
Mike Tyson Now
Countless achievements aside, Mike Tyson was outrageously fit and undeniably handsome. He particularly stood out with his soft voice and the gap between his teeth. However, stepping out of the ring has affected him physically over the years. He has not kept in the shape like before.
Some argue that his facial tattoo and wrinkles just do not have what it takes to make a killer combination. Tyson's supporters, however, would certainly have their idol's back and focus on other aspects of his life instead.
Meg Ryan, Rom-C0m Princess
If there was an ultimate girl-next-door during the '90s, it would definitely be Meg Ryan. The blonde beauty starred in a slew of romantic comedies for more than a decade. She stole hearts with her golden locks, sweet smile, and shy looks. Moviegoers were rooting for her characters to get their happy endings.
As the darling of Hollywood cinema, it would be impossible to choose only one of her classic movies. These include When Harry met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, and You've Got Mail.
Meg Ryan Now
Like other Hollywood actresses, Meg Ryan found herself being inclined to "getting a little work done." She underwent plastic surgery that altered her face quite obviously. Since the shape changed from time to time, her collagen-blown lips became so apparent.
While she went under the knife, Ryan remains a true America's Sweetheart from the '90s. Fans can still spot that infectious smile and affectionate look. Plus she took her hair game to the next level so there's that.
Mick Jagger, Rock Icon
Back in the '60s, Mick Jagger was one of the musicians that fans would swoon over. As the frontman of the world-famous rock band The Rolling Stones, he was never a stranger to the spotlight. Not only did people talk about his musical contributions, but they also followed his romantic involvements.
Jagger embarked on a journey as a solo artist in 1985. Though fans still had his back, it was evident that he was more successful with the band than as a single performer.
Mick Jagger Now
Like other musicians of his time, rock and roll has not always been kind and easy to Jagger. Decades of touring and performing have started to take a toll on him. The changes in his physical appearance have become apparent, but that's also because he is not as young as he used to be.
Despite what he now looks like though, his success and contributions in the music industry are already cemented. He is a living legend and everyone still aspires to make moves like Jagger.

Haley Joel Osment Now
Similar to many other child stars, Osment's acting career began to decline as he grew older. He reportedly had problems landing roles due to substance and alcohol problems. Before fans knew it, he had already stepped away from the limelight. The next few years would result in visible changes.

Though Andress is best known for her alluring face, banging body, and acting prowess, she is actually way more than that. She speaks several languages including French, German and Italian, and even studied art in Paris for a year.
Ursula Andress Now
It's quite hard to believe that it has already been decades since the first-ever Bond film hit theaters. As decades went ahead, so did Andress's career and age. Some have actually claimed the possibility that the alluring actress has gone under the knife.
Whatever is the truth, it's undeniable that Andress looked somehow different from the way she did emerging from the sea in a white bikini. Despite that, she does not really have to prove anything to anyone anymore. She is already an icon in her own right.
Jack Nicholson, Shining Star
