These Award Show Fashion Choices Made Jaws Drop
Over the years, we have come across some rather scandalous fashion moments. Some starlets decided to venture onto the red carpet wearing practically nothing, while others got creative with how to hide their... assets. Jennifer Lopez's iconic Versace gown dipped so low that one wrong move would reveal much more than she had planned. Lady Gaga is famous for pushing the boundaries of her outfits (meat dress anyone?), and the likes of Carmen Electra, Angelina Jolie, and Bella Hadid followed suit.

We compiled a seriously wild array of award show and red carpet looks that made people's jaws drop. You may have seen or heard about some of these, but we are here to give you a closer look - you haven't seen them quite like this before.
Emily Ratajkowski's Angelic Birthday Suit
Model Emily Ratajkowski has always been very comfortable with her body, so when she arrived at the 2019 Met Gala wearing some sort of wrap around her chest with little more covering her, we were not that surprised. That being said, photographers went wild and the public could not look away from the angelic model.

The Met Gala in 2019 was Camp themed, so the outfits were indeed out of this world. Ratajkowski took that literally and added a pair of wings to the side of her head to complete the look. We're certain that the attention went elsewhere.
Kendall Jenner's Barely There Met Gala Gown
Kendall may be one of the youngest in the Kardashian-Jenner clan, but she is in no way lacking in attention. Jenner walked into the 2017 Met Gala wearing a netted gown with only a few strategically placed pieces of fabric underneath. The model is familiar with the public eye all over her, but this was a whole new level.

While the dress was indeed revealing, Jenner has been known to walk around wearing even less, if you can imagine that. We're pretty sure you can actually imagine it.
Amber Rose's Leaving-Little-to-the-Imagination Chain Dress
Almost every time Amber Rose walked the red carpet she did so wearing something that made people turn their heads. In 2014, as she walked down the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet, she wore a chain dress that was completely open in the back and slightly more modest in the front.

Rose proudly marched down, stopping for photographers and fans alike. This dress is still talked about as one of the most scandalous to have graced the red carpet.
Lady Gaga's Meat Dress
Lady Gaga's meat dress is practically a legend. In 2010, Gaga attended the MTV Video Music Awards wearing raw meat on her head, feet, and body. People were outraged and rather disgusted by the outfit, but it was all they could talk about, which we have to believe was the whole point of this outfit, to begin with.

Gaga's style has evolved since this fateful day, but she is still very much turning heads with her revealing and outlandish fashion choices. The meat dress, however, will never be forgotten.
Jennifer Lopez's Plunging Versace
Ah, the famous Versace gown. Jennifer Lopez wore this tropical number to the 2000's Grammy Awards, which she attended with then-boyfriend P Diddy. As soon as she got out of the car and onto the carpet no one could take their eyes off of her. Half of the people prayed her dress wouldn't fly open, while the other half surely prayed that it would!

Needless to say, pasties are a brilliant invention and no wardrobe malfunction happened. What did happen is that Lopez was forever solidified as a beauty and style symbol.
Celine Dion's Inner Diva Coming Out to Play
Celine Dion can pull off any look she wants, she is a diva after all. So when she arrived at the 2019 Met Gala looking like a literal golden goddess, people stared and jaws were dropped. Her outfit was more revealing than she normally goes for, as her bodysuit was not accompanied by pants or skirt.

Her headpiece of feathery abundance was another element to a shocking outfit, yet somehow it all worked together. The tassels on her bodysuit draped her body perfectly, making it all much more demure, but one wrong move could have been embarrassing.
Angelina Jolie's Slit Heard Round the World
Angelina Jolie doesn't need any help when it comes to getting attention, but when she arrived at the 2012 Academy Awards, everyone's jaws dropped. The slit on her black gown was higher than she had ever dared before, and when posing for photographers, she popped her leg out so that no one would miss it.

Talk about this dress has since died down but it took months for it to happen. People everywhere were cropping her leg and debating over whether they liked it or not. One thing is for sure, Jolie's look has been written down in history.
Kim Kardashian's Wet Look
Kim Kardashian has a whole team of people who make her look exactly how she wants to look. So when it came time to get ready for the 2019 Met Gala, her look was prepared down to the oil that would give her the wet look.

Kardashian's theme was water, but in addition to her hair being 'wet' and her dress seemingly having droplets coming off of it, she is literally sewn into a dress so tight and so close to her skin tone that she essentially seems naked. Planned? We think so.
Rihanna's Sparkly Coverup
Rihanna should have given people a heads up about her 2014 CFDA look as there were those there with a weak heart that could have been in danger of heart attacks as a result of her look! We will spare you the front of the dress since we have more modesty than Rihanna does, it seems.

The singer paired a sparkly coverup, that she was wearing over skin-toned underwear, with a furry shawl that did little to keep her warm. The revealing nature of this number is without question why it is so tantalizing.
Bella Hadid's Red Number
Bella Hadid, sister of model Gigi Hadid, and a model herself waltzed into the 69th annual Cannes Film Festival in a red gown that truly stunned. The silk dress had a waist-high slit that needed to be watched carefully, as well as a plunging neckline that sat perfectly on Hadid's figure.

She looked like a classic siren in this outfit, and she definitely could get whatever she wanted if she just asked. Looking like that got everybody's attention.
Giulia Salemi's Wonder Under
Giulia Salemi wore this orange gown to the premiere of The Young Pope at the 73rd Venice Film Festival in 2016. The actress wanted to make sure that she got noticed among the bigger stars who were in attendance, and she got her wish!

Salemi's dress had several slits up the front of it, so high up that the actress shared with the world that she was not wearing undergarments. Her tan line was a dead giveaway in this case, and of course, the fact that the wind tried to make this whole outfit that much more indecent.
Hannah Ferguson's Side View
Hannah Ferguson took a tip from Elizabeth Hurley's stylebook when she chose to wear this cutout black gown to the 2016 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Launch Celebration in 2016. Sharing with the world that she was not wearing anything under her dress, Ferguson walked down the carpet to make sure her best angle was snapped.

The model typically finds herself in bikinis so this dress has more fabric than she is probably used to. Still, jaws dropped when she walked into the event and showed everyone the side view of her dress.
Ciara's Silver Goddess Look
Singer Ciara does not have to do much to get people's eyes to pop out of their heads, but when she attended the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, that is exactly what she did. The songstress wore a silver gown with cutouts to large that everyone got a wildly impressive view of her body.

Ciara is proud of her body and what it is capable of, so showing it off is her way of praising it. Still, the security man here is as close as everyone wanted to be when she wore this number.
Christina Aguilera's Scarf Shirt
Christina Aguilera walked into the musical world at a young age, and it seemed like overnight she grew into a beautiful young woman. Within that night, however, Aguilera also decided to make this red carpet look work. For the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards, she wore what can only be described as a scarf around her chest.

2002 was the year of the low rise jeans and even lower and shorter skirts, so Aguilera was exactly on-trend. Needless to say, she turned heads as she walked into the award show, showing off exactly what the good Lord gave her.
Beyonce Covered By Nothing But Jewels
Queen B can do no wrong, especially at the Met Gala. Beyonce showed up to the 2015 event wearing a partially see-through bejeweled and bedazzled gown that was meant to look like she was wearing nothing underneath it. Now, Knowles has more class than that, of course, but it made people do a double-take nonetheless.

The perfectly placed jewels were complementing the nude bodysuit she was wearing beneath it all. The undergarment was so close to the color of her skin that it was really hard to tell if there was one or not, making this look very memorable.
Cher's Purple Stunner
Throwing it back to the '70s for this Academy Award shocker. Cher, ever the original and 'do whatever I want' kind of woman, showed up to the 1974 event wearing a flowy skirt and matching bralette, complete with flowery headpieces. At the time, this look was downright scandalous.

The Oscars are known to this day as one of the most respected achievements and therefore the award show itself sees its famous attendees wearing nothing short of the fanciest of outfits. Well, Cher was always one to do what worked for her, so here she is doing exactly that.
Toni Braxton's Breakthrough Dress
In her prime, singer Toni Braxton sold millions of albums and won many musical achievements. In 2001, she attended the Grammy Awards where she won a statue of her own. While that achievement is fantastic, it was her outfit that night that got all of the attention. Braxton wore a very revealing white gown that had only one measly strap on each hip holding it together.

Braxton looked stunning in her look, which was more daring than any other artist that year and made for some pretty juicy conversation afterward.
Carmen Electra's Self-Holding Gown
Another white gown that was being held together by practically nothing, or in this case, glue, is Carmen Electra's 1998 dress for the MTV Movie Awards. Heads turned as Electra walked through the red carpet, with people wondering how her dress was staying up. But don't worry, this was not the actress' first rodeo.

Electra kept the rest of her look pretty toned down considering her dress did all the talking. She used some brilliantly placed tape to make sure no wardrobe malfunctions happened.
Iggy Azalea All Laced Up
Singer Iggy Azalea attended the 2017 iHeartRadio awards in a laced up pink gown that hugged every curve she was blessed with to perfection. Photographers and fans went wild when she arrived in this outfit, as it looked like it had been quite literally sewn onto her figure.

Azalea is known for her voice and her attitude, which was on full display in this getup. The light pink shade of the dress was almost close enough to her own skin tone to be confused, and certain areas of the lace were a little close for comfort to more revealing ones.
Cindy Crawford Turning Everyone's Head
The ultimate bombshell, Cindy Crawford, attended the 1991 Academy Awards with then-boyfriend Richard Gere in an outfit that completely outshined him and garnered her all of the attention - something we doubt Gere cared about very much since he had her on his arm.

Crawford showed up wearing a red gown with a v-neckline so deep it got to her belly button. She knew to keep everything else super simple and let the dress, and her body, do the talking. This look is still talked about today, it is an inspiration for starlets everywhere.
Bjork's Swan
There can't be a list of award show fashion choices that made people's jaws drop and not have Bjork's 2001 Academy Award look on it. As if out of a storybook, or some kind of prank, singer Bjork wore a swan inspired dress to the event. This was surely the dress seen around the world at the time and has become a legend ever since.

Whether you like Bjork's music or not, this look put her on the map and her name is famous, which we suspect was the whole reason behind taking on this look in the first place.
Gwyneth Paltrow's Double Take Top Half
Gwyneth knew exactly what she was doing when she chose to wear this dress to the 2002 Academy Awards. She opted for an Alexander McQueen gown that she has since grown to regret not wearing a bra with. The dress wasn't see-through, although it gave the illusion it was, it was how tight it was that made Paltrow look back with regret, and everyone else unable to stop staring.

This look got Paltrow on the worst dressed list of the award show season that year, something she has since had a hard time living down. But in addition to the worst dressed, this look has remained relevant and shocked over to this day.
Halle Berry's Strategically Placed Pattern
Halle Berry won the Academy Award for Best Actress in 2002 for her role in Monsters Ball. Knowing that she was nominated for such a prestigious award, Berry chose to wear a gown that was going to get some buzz. The maroon gown had a full skirt and a thin net top.

A flowery pattern was sewn in exactly the right place to keep her somewhat modest, but that didn't stop people everywhere from staring. Berry looked stunning, and her gown along with her Oscar gave fans everywhere a whole lot to talk about.
Rihanna's Regal Look
The Met Gala is where celebrities go to wear the wildest things, especially because each year has a different theme. In 2018, Rihanna wore an outfit to perfectly fit the theme, which was "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination". Leave it to Rihanna to make her religious look leggy and steamy.

Hopefully, not too many people were offended since modesty and religion typically go hand in hand, but we doubt Rihanna cared either way. Her look was front and center, attention-grabbing and powerful - exactly like she intended it to be.
Katy Perry's Chandelier Look
Yes, singer Katy Perry wore a chandelier outfit to the 2019 Met Gala. The theme for 2019 was "Camp: Notes on Fashion" which is incredibly open to interpretation. Perry took it to the extreme with this lit up ensemble, which included battery-powered lights and a matching headpiece to the dress.

Perry has always had her own colorful style, but this look was a cut above the rest. As she walked down the red carpet and up the stairs to the Met Gala, all eyes were on her.
Kylie Jenner and Her Purple Friend
The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner tribe, Kylie, knows exactly how to get people's attention. When she arrived at the 2019 Met Gala along with the rest of her family, it was her purple looks that wowed quite literally everyone. Kylie paired her purple mermaid-inspired chain gown with a large purple furry shawl and purple hair.

Every piece of her outfit, hair, and makeup was done to perfection with nothing out of place. Jaws dropped, eyes popped out of heads, and envy filled every woman there.
Jennifer Lopez's Cutout
What? You thought we were going to have Jennifer Lopez on this list only once? There are too many of JLo's looks to count that could make this list, but this one is right there at the top with the green Versace of 2000. Lopez wore this stunning cutout gown to the 2015 Met Gala. The theme that year was "China: Through the Looking Glass" which is why she wore red.

As beautiful as she always looks, the cutouts on this gown were what people couldn't take their eyes off of. JLo is famous for her, well, backside, so when she showed up with this gown practically showing it to the world, attention had to be paid.
Lily Collins' Magical Affair
Actress Lily Collins, also known as the daughter of iconic musician Phil Collins, arrived at the 2019 Met Gala looking like a '70s princess. Her combination look of fairytale and groovy goddess could not be ignored. Her inspiration for the look was actually Priscilla Presley on her wedding day to Elvis!

The hair and makeup took hours to create, but her wow factor was on high and everyone noticed. That's the point of the Met Gala looks, and Collins totally nailed it.
Cara Delevingne's Colorful Ensemble
Cara Delevigne is a model and an actress who comes from a family of more models and actors. To say that she is the most outgoing and original of her family is a given. To the 2019 Met Gala, she wore this colorful and incredibly campy outfit that took several looks to truly swallow.

Her headpiece had bananas, eyeballs, and plastic dentures in it. She had some folks scratch their heads but that was the whole point of her outfit - to shock and awe. Sticking her tongue out in every photo was also quite helpful for the effect.
Lady Gaga's Seductive Met Gala Outfit
Much like Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga is also another starlet who has had more outfits shake heads and stun to silence. For the 2019 Met Gala, she did just that when she wore less than she normally does - meaning a black sparkly lingerie set with fishnets to seal it all together.

She added a blonde wig and dramatic makeup and walked about the pink carpet without a care in the world. This is Lady Gaga's world and we are just living in it. This look is definitely one for the books.
Ariana Grande's Princess Moment
Pop icon Ariana Grande always looks like an innocent little princess - that is literally her whole angle. Her music is massively successful and while she sings about more risque stuff, her look is always a young one. For the 2018 Met Gala, Grande didn't stray from her usual style but took it up by about 100 notches.

A billowing gown featuring the fresco on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, along with a massive bow and white hair extensions, Grande gave audiences and fans exactly what they wanted in all its religious glory.
Scarlet Johansson Shining On Display
Any time Scarlett Johansson walks onto a red carpet people stop and stare. The 2020 Academy Awards were no different. Johansson arrived looking like a silver statue in a gown that was the perfect contrast to the gold of the Oscar statue. She wore two similar gowns, one for the ward show itself and one for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

This look was for the award show itself, featuring what Johansson is most famous for physically front and center, literally. Johansson knows what to work when she is in front of the countless camera lenses.
Jennifer Aniston's Classic Black Look with a Twist
Jennifer Aniston arrived at the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in a dress that wrapped her up like a perfect present. The black sparkly gown featured a slit high up her leg and a neckline dropping all the way down to her belly button. Somehow, Aniston doesn't look like she is too exposed, just exposed enough.

Aniston's red carpet style is always on point, giving us just enough to make us stare but not too much as to make it too much. There were many conversations about her look that night after the fact, which is exactly the goal.
Miley Cyrus' See-Through Gown and Always There Attitude
The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards were brought to life by Miley Cyrus and her outrageous vibe. The singer and actress walked into the event wearing more than she has in the past but still leaving very little to the imagination. Her see-through "dress" was worn over black undergarments essentially. She added matching sheer gloves and her signature tongue.

It is more often than not that Cyrus makes jaws drop. It is more surprising the times that she flies under the radar. This award show look, however, is exactly the Miley we all know and love.
Hailey Bieber's Barbie Moment
Hailey Bieber, or back then Baldwin, arrived at the 2019 Met Gala looking like a human Barbie doll. The model was wearing Alexander Wang and walked the pink carpet with the designer. No one could have pulled off this look better than her, as this backless, curve-hugging dress was not hiding anything.

There was no other choice for people but to stare and her as she made her way into the event. Literally, people's eyes were glued to her every move whether they liked it or not.
Charlize Theron Looking Like An Oscar Herself
The 2004 Academy Awards was special for Charlize Theron. That was the year she won for her role in the film Monster. She had to gain a lot of weight for the role of Aileen Wuornos, so when she showed up looking like a golden statue herself, people were mesmerized. Theron walked into the award show as the brilliant Oscar statue that she won.

No one could ignore the actress, her statuesque figure gliding across the red carpet in a pale gown and glowing skin. Her presence is undeniable and this red carpet fashion moment was styled to make people talk about it.
Lady Gaga Leaving Little to the Imagination... Again
She does it again, this time with her band. Lady Gaga walked the 2017 Grammy Awards carpet in a leather getup that was impossible to look away from. Her upside-down shirt, meaning her low cut was a high cut, and her abs were showing. Don't get us wrong, she looks amazing, it is just an interesting construction.

There is nothing usual that we can expect from Lady Gaga and that is exactly what she is known for. The multi-talented woman is fashionably adventurous.
Rita Ora Literally In A Bathrobe
Rita Ora can sing, act, and be downright funny. In an attempt to troll the MTV EMAs in 2017, she wore a literal bathrobe as her outfit. Now, she made it a lot more glamorous of course, adding diamonds wherever the eye could see. She also had a full face of makeup so as to never be caught without it!

She made people scratch their heads as well as turn them since a bathrobe is indeed unusual, but she tied it at just the right spot so that people could try and see if they could catch a glimpse of something more.
Sharon Stone Stunning In Silk
An icon like Sharon Stone walking down a red carpet is one thing, but having her walk it wearing a pink silk gown that is nothing short of a second skin is a completely different story. Stone wore this look to the 56th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards in 2004 and people are still talking about it.

Stone is an entertainment legend who is also a style and beauty icon. While she may no longer be in her 20s, she is still dropping jaws everywhere she goes.
Chrissy Teigen's Orange Presence
For the 2020 Grammy Awards, Chrissy Teigen decided to go with this playful and sexy dress, which suits her personality entirely. She has an incredibly playful personality if her social media accounts are any indication, but she is also drop-dead gorgeous. Showing all the leg she could possibly muster, Teigen walked the event carpet and enjoyed the stares.

The top of the dress was a modest one, but the slits on both legs and the flowy disposition of the skirt made for a very steamy bottom half.
Nicki Minaj's Skeleton Look
Not all jaw-dropping outfits on the red carpet give that effect because they are revealing, others do so because they are strange. Case in point, Nicki Minaj's 2010 American Music Awards look. She wore a dress that featured a ribcage and hip feather element to it. She added a dipped hair look and altogether it was a lot.

Minaj's look has evolved quite a bit since then, but this one will haunt her for a while. Fans found it funny, critics found it ugly, but overall it is a creative outlet that managed to get people talking and that was the whole idea.
Lizzie Gardiner's Million Dollar Dress
The American Express Oscars dress worn by Lizzie Gardiner literally has its own Wikipedia page. The actress, who won an Academy Award that year, wore the creation which featured 254 American Express gold cards. The Oscar she won was for the category of Best Costume design, so it makes sense that she would wear something that everyone would notice.

Little known fact: All of the cards she was wearing were real, but they were expired so no one could use them! This may have been worn in 1995 but is nowhere near being done fawning over.
Courtney Love's All Torn Up
Singer and songwriter Courtney Love is famous for her many things - her voice, being married to Nirvana lead Kurt Cobain, and having an attitude that can be a lot to handle. There are times when she is full out grunge, and others when she glams it up. In the case of the 1995 Golden Globes, Love wore a dress that was a satisfying mix.

The ripped dress look was exactly what she wanted, and gave her the attention of everyone as a result of its revealing nature. This dress remains on best and worst dressed lists from years past and is used as an example of a look that made people go wild.
Elizabeth Hurley's Pinned Together
Taking you back to 1994, Elizabeth Hurley was still dating Hugh Grant and both were seeing a boom in their careers. Hugh took Hurley to the premiere of his film Four Weddings and a Funeral, where Hurley stole the show. She wore a Versace gown held together by gold safety pins.

At the time, and since, this dress has been a hallmark of the red carpet look to beat. The deep v-neck also helped things along, but the sides were shocking, to say the least.
Winona Ryder Taking the Plunge
In 1996, Winona Ryder was heating up into her prime. All eyes were on her at the time, as she attended the John Huston Award for Artists Rights Honors Martin Scorsese event. Ryder doesn't get out as much these days, but then she was a red carpet bombshell that wowed photographers and fans everywhere.

In a glamorous yet understated look, Ryder wore a black gown that had a squared-off neckline that was considered at the time incredibly low. This is modest by today's standards, but boy did she turn heads when she wore this one.
Lady Gaga In All Her Glory
For once, Lady Gaga went what we would consider classic for her. She attended the 2015 Grammy Awards wearing a silver gown that clung to every inch of her body. The deep neckline and high leg line were everyone's dream come true. She added emeralds to her look for an extra pop, but no one was looking at those jewels in particular.

Usually, Gaga has her wild style to live up to, but leave it up to her to shake things up by wearing a classic yet incredibly revealing outfit that would be just as memorable as if she was in her MTV Awards egg again.
Lindsay Lohan Appearing In Public
It is not every day that you get a glimpse of actress Lindsay Lohan. True, today she is not even living in the United States. But in 2012, she had just finished filming the movie Liz and Dick and attended the premiere to promote it. Lohan's look left people puzzled - the overly dyed red hair, slight changes in her face from a little work being done, and a gown that left her looking nude, to name a few.

This red carpet look was one the world made go viral for a time. Lohan has fans all over the world who want nothing more than to see more of her, so when she's out and about, she gets noticed.
Cher's Feathers and All
Cher has abs like we all dream of having, so it makes sense that every time she goes to an award show she would show them off. First the 1974 Academy Awards, now the 1986 Academy Awards. This time she added a feathered headpiece that screamed at people to pay attention.

Cher gave her best Broadway dancer look a try at the event, wearing a narrow tube top with an embellished neck design. The dramatic look worked, as everyone's eyes followed Cher wherever she went.
Cardi B's Big Red
Never one to shy away from an outfit or topic that would make her the talk of the town, rapper and singer Cardi B wore this red-feathered number to the 2019 Met Gala. Cardi is all about scandalous moves and making waves, so when given the opportunity she is sure to knock it out of the park.

The theme for 2019, as we mentioned, was "Camp: Notes on Fashion" and while we are sure this has something to do with it, all we know is that looking away is an impossibility for us and anyone else.
Gemma Chan's Pink Parachute Dress
Channeling her Crazy Rich Asians character Astrid Leong, Gemma Chan made her presence felt during the 2019 Academy Awards night. The English actress looked like a million dollars in a Valentino Couture gown on the red carpet of the prestigious event.

The pink parachute dress did not only appeal to onlookers because of its massive volume but also because it had pockets! This impressive look cemented Chan's status as a fashion icon and made her an anticipated celebrity during awards season.
Madonna's Mesh Situation
Hailed as the "Queen of Pop," Madonna has been capturing hearts since the 1980s. She has the looks, the wits, and the talents. There is no doubt she is one of the most influential figures in popular culture.

In 2013, Madonna proved she still got it as an icon. She had no problem ditching a big ballgown or at least a pair of pants for her Billboard Music Awards look. The edgy getup was the best reminder that Madonna still reigns supreme.
Alessandra Ambrosio's Flowing Cape
Having been a Victoria's Secret Angel for more than a decade, Alessandra Ambrosio has always felt comfortable with her amazing body. The Brazilian model took a break from the runway and strutted on the red carpet for the 2019 Cannes Film Festival.

Ambrosio wore a stunning red draped gown at the international event. She was too busy flaunting her outfit that she barely noticed the swarm of photographers clicking their shutters. Who needs Angel wings when you can have a flowing cape attached to your sleeves?
Chrissy Teigen's Biggest Slit
If there's anything that we can confirm about Chrissy Teigen, it's that she likes beyond-thigh-high slits for her red carpet gowns. The supermodel-turned-cookbook author took her cues from Elizabeth Hurley and wore a dress held together with a gold safety pin.

Unfortunately, Teigen actually had a wardrobe malfunction but dealt with it gracefully, even apologizing to "anyone harmed mentally or physically by [her] hooha" on Instagram. She also expressed her gratitude to her laser hair removal team.
Zendaya's Gorgeous Gown
Speaking of slits, Disney alum Zendaya showed fans she was all grown-up when she strutted in a green Vera Wang ensemble that had a thigh-high cut. The Euphoria star seemed to have given a nod to The Little Mermaid's Ariel with her red locks.

Zendaya's look unsurprisingly broke the Internet at the time since she was already on a roll with her red carpet style choices. The Emmy Award-winning actress followed this look with other memorable hairdos and gowns.
Nayer's Monochrome Jumpsuit
The Billboard Music Awards may have chosen a blue carpet over red but that never stopped celebrities like Nayer from making a major statement with their sartorial choices. The Give Me Everything singer particularly stole hearts with her style and plus one!

Nayer hit the red carpet in a risqué black and white dress. The monochrome jumpsuit extended to her head like a hood and down to her ankle. Nayer was also all smiles since she was accompanied by her cute pooch.
Doja Cat's Sparkly Dress
Singer and rapper Doja Cat did not disappoint when she attended the 2020 Billboard Music Awards in a Georges Hobeika dress. In fact, she was one of those who spiced up the red carpet with her orange 'do. The songstress sparkled in a silver outfit that was strategically placed with jewels.

Doja Cat completed the look with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and matching lavender Amina Muaddi heels. She looked fierce like a feline friend but she gave that reassuring expression that she won't "Won't Bite."
Billy Porter's Breakout Style
Multi-awarded actor Billy Porter stole the show at the Oscars by wearing a tailored tuxedo jacket over a full-skirted strapless velvet gown. The Pose star dominated the infamous red carpet in 2019 with the custom Christian Siriano creation. Apparently, Porter intentionally chose a controversial ensemble to create discussion.

In an interview with Variety, Porter talked about the gorgeous tuxedo-gown. "I'm an activist. I knew that that tuxedo gown at the Oscars would create a conversation surrounding what gender means, what all these rules we put on everybody in life."
Britney Spears Looking Extremely Lucky
At the turn of the 21st century, Britney Spears was a common sight in newspapers and magazines as well as at various red carpet events. She would sell millions of albums and bring home many awards. As a pop star, everyone followed her moves down to her fashion choices.

When the Lucky singer received two Billboard Music Awards in 2000, she wore a revealing monochrome outfit. From head to toe, Spears wore an orange hot number that was considered stylish at the time.
Bella Hadid's All-Black Ensemble
The younger sister of Gigi Hadid once again left little to the imagination when she showed up on the MTV VMAs red carpet in 2020. Having already done this in the previous years, Hadid definitely looked every bit confident and comfortable with her skin.

The 2016 "Model of the Year" was clad in a sheer off the shoulder bodysuit paired with black trousers and black bedazzled heels. Hadid's beauty stood out with large silver hoops and hair tied in a messy bun.
Keke Palmer's Sultry Style
Keke Palmer practically grew up in front of our screens. She was the lead character in the 2006 film Akeelah and the Bee and the hit sitcom True Jackson, VP. This is why during the 2016 American Music Awards, everyone couldn't believe that the Nickelodeon alum was now a young lady.

Wearing a daring two-piece outfit, Palmer served up some Rihanna style and opted to go braless. The see-through silver crop top and matching skirt gave way to her toned tummy and long legs.
Olivia Culpo Impressing the Universe
Six years after winning the Miss Universe 2012 crown, Olivia Culpo showed that she had more to offer to the world. As someone who is used to catching everyone's eyes, Culpo wore a striking set of black lingerie beneath her barely-there dress.

The 28-year-old fashion influencer and social media personality has already flaunted her body on stage during the swimming competition of the international pageant so pulling off a red carpet look like this one was a walk in the park.
Janelle Monáe's Head-Turning Look
From time to time, Janelle Monáe likes to remind her fans that she doesn't only have an incredible voice but also an impeccable style. The American songstress stunned everyone during the 2020 Oscars even before performing her 2009 song Come Alive on stage.

Monáe dazzled everyone with her custom Ralph Lauren gown. The silk mesh evening dress also featured a draped hood that accentuated her beauty. Monáe topped the look with some pieces of jewelry.
Z LaLa Came To Conquer
As mentioned, not all outfits are considered jaw-dropping because of how revealing it is. Sometimes it's the over-the-top design that takes the cake. See, for example, Z LaLa's out-of-this-world outfit at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards. She obviously wanted to dress for the occasion and thought outside the box to do so.

The German model and TV personality was not part of the movie but that did not stop her from shining during the release. Schäfer sizzled in pieces of garbage bag strips that were attached to one another. The unusual gear caused quite a stir.
Joy Villa's Wild Ensemble
The Grammys red carpet has seen a ton of jaw-dropping looks over the decades. Singer-songwriter Joy Villa is among those. One of the strangest outfits she wore to the award show was a black dress that resembled an animal's ribcage.

Cardi B Blooming Like A Flower
There aren't a lot of female rappers in the music industry, but the few who managed to become successful in their chosen musical genre have some of the most insanely creative fashion styles anyone has ever come across with. One of the female rappers we're talking about is Cardi B.

In 2017, the career of this rap goddess suddenly bloomed, just like her chosen outfit for the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. The dress she wore that night is reminiscent of the Sandro Botticelli painting The Birth of Venus and the blooming of a pretty flower. Whatever you think of her outfit, we're pretty sure it caught your attention too.
Rihanna's Golden Moment
Not only did Rihanna's 2015 Met Gala gown look like gold but it probably weighed like gold too. Made by Guo Pei, the "Good Girl Gone Bad" looked regal while effortlessly carrying her golden dress with a train weighing 55 pounds.

Other women would most likely struggle through the night while dragging this dress, but not Rihanna. In every red carpet event she attends, she ends up getting the attention of more and more people, and this gown definitely garnered a lot of oohs and aahs.
Issa Rae Bluer Than Blue
At first glance, one might think that Issa Rae's sparkly blue gown is just like any other elegant outfit that a lady such as herself would wear to a red carpet event, but a closer inspection would show a message hidden within her dress. If you look closely at her belt, the words ‘Every N— Is a Star’ is written on it.

According to the Awkward Black Girl star, it is her response to the constant depiction of black people as tragic figures. If you ask us, not only did this YouTube star look good, but she also managed to get her message across successfully. Now, that's truly hitting two birds with one stone!
Paula Patton Cascading Gown Design
Going to red carpet events, stars always expect that they would be either praised or criticized for their outfit choices. Even though they begin the evening believing that they're the best-dressed celebrity of the event, they would soon realize they're wrong... or not.

This white Stephane Rolland gown with a cascading ruffle design worn by Paula Patton at the 2014 Golden Globes drew a lot of flak, which begs the question "why?" Many people who saw this dress thought it was quite elegant, but there are also a lot of people who had a lot of nasty things to say about it. At the end of the night, what matters most is the star's confidence, and Patton had plenty of it.
Sarah Jessica Parker's Sexy Gown in the City
Being one of the stars of a show called Sex and the City, Hollywood star Sarah Jessica Parker knew that she always had to look her best, especially during red carpet events where all eyes, and cameras, would be focused on her.

At the 2014 Oscars, Lupita wowed the crowd as she wore a baby blue Prada gown that made her look like a Grecian goddess. While she is a skilled actress, Lupita may very well enter the fashion industry too because she's got style and she looks great in anything she wears, and that's a fact!
Rihanna A Vision in Pink
Rihanna is one of those stars who effortlessly looks gorgeous no matter what she wears. Well, her outfit is always on point anyway, so there's really no reason for anyone to slam her in any way.

As always, she stole the scene during the 2015 Grammys as she wore a pink tulle gown designed by none other than Giambattista Valli. Honestly speaking, we think she has enough tulle in her dress to make two more outfits, but knowing Rihanna, having too much of something is never enough.
Zendaya Making Magic on the Red Carpet
Ever since her days as a Disney star, Zendaya's presence has always commanded the attention of everyone around her. Obviously, her abundance of both beauty and confidence didn't just make her a successful actress but also a successful model, which explains why she has amazing style every time she struts her stuff in any event she attends.

One occasion which calls for excellent taste in fashion is the Met Gala, an event where models such as Zendaya are always invited. During the 2015 Met Gala, she proudly wore a Fausto Puglisi high-low gown that made her stand out from the crowd. Finishing off her look with a crown on top of her head and Zendaya looked like the true winner of the evening.
Lena Waithe's Rainbow Bonanza
We bet a lot of people would agree when we say that Lena Waithe's chosen outfit during the 2018 Met Gala is as colorful as her personality. Wearing a rainbow cape designed by Carolina Herrera along with her entire outfit surely made a statement that has sparked public unrest for many years now.

The Master of None star is a proud member of the LGBTQ community, which explains why she chose to wear the colorful cape during the event. While some would hide who they are, Waithe proudly wears hers on her sleeve.
Margot Robbie Gold From Head to Toe
No one can deny the fact that Margot Robbie is one of the most attractive actresses in Hollywood, and her outfit choices always become the basis of what would be considered "in" from not. While many would agree that gold is too much for any person to wear, the Wolf of Wallstreet star made it look good without any effort.

The golden Tom Ford gown that she wore during the 2016 Academy Awards perfectly matched her golden hair and megawatt smile. To top it all off, she was able to make golden clothing the latest fashion trend.
Lupita Nyong’o Bright and Bold
Sometimes, less truly is more, and in Lupita Nyong'O's case, all she needed was a pop of color to get everyone's attention. Her bright orange gown designed by Ralph Lauren, which she wore during the 2014 Golden Globes was an elegant yet bold choice of outfit.

Just a year before this event, she was considered a newbie in the film industry, yet wearing this outfit makes it seem like she's been in the business for many years already. It's truly one of her most iconic outfits to date.
Cate Blanchett's Graphic Gown
When people see Cate Blanchett, the words "elegant" and "classy" immediately pop into their minds. That's because for as long as we can remember, the Hollywood actress has always managed to wore ensembles that make her look like anything but ordinary.

Dressed in a printed gown designed by Giles Deacon, Blanchett quickly dominated the red carpet during the 2015 Cannes Film Festival. Although the modern prints on her gown were eye-catching, they were simply no match for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button star.
Zoë Kravitz Pretty in Pink
It's a nice view to see Zoe Kravitz changing things up in her wardrobe once in a while. While we all know that the Fantastic Beasts star loves dressing in darker colors, mainly black, but during the 2017 Met Gala, she stunned the crowd as she wore a baby pink Oscar de la Renta gown with a long trail. Of course, it still had a hint of black, but the gown is mostly pink.

Paired with blonde hair and she definitely had a lot of heads turning towards her direction that evening.
Natalie Portman Embracing Her Feminine Side
It still amazes us how a woman such as Natalie Portman could rock both bold and feminine looks. Not many women could confidently sport long locks one minute and still have the same level of confidence with a shaved head the next minute. It's just impossible to achieve! The V for Vendetta star, however, could do so with ease.

During the 2011 Golden Globes, Portman donned a pink Viktor & Rolf gown with a rose accent to finish off her look. For those who haven't noticed it, the reason why she's so blooming that evening is that she was carrying a child in her belly. It's impossible to see her belly bump, but it's there.
Lady Gaga's Electrifying Ensemble
Throughout the years, we've witnessed the evolution of Lady Gag's style. Today, we mostly see her wearing more classy and conservative pieces. In the past though, Mother Monster was always caught flashing more out of this world clothing which became her signature style for a while.

One of these more unique pieces was the dress she wore during the 2010 Grammy's. Her electrifying gown, made by Armani Privé really turned heads wherever she went. Although it was a bit unusual compared to what other stars were wearing that night, Gaga obviously pulled it off with poise and confidence.
Jennifer Lopez Getting Loud in Pink
Based on what we've seen all these years, it's hard to deny that Jennifer Lopez could in fact pull off any piece she wears. In the 2018 premiere of her movie Second Act, J'Lo wore a puffy pink dress made by Giambattista Valli.

Like her song Let's Get Loud, the singer/actress definitely caught the attention of everyone with the loud color and design of her gown. To get a grasp of just how excessive her gown is, she rode to the event in a sprinter van just because there's too much tulle in her outfit to even accommodate other passengers.
Lupita Nyong'o's Powerful Purple Gown
Back in ancient times, only those of royal blood were allowed to don outfits that are purple in color. These days, anyone can wear it but not everyone can pull it off. Lupita Nyong'o, however, was definitely able to pull off her deep purple Versace gown during the 2018 Hollywood premiere of Black Panther.

She was definitely queen material in her dress, much like the character she portrayed in the hit Marvel movie. We've learned in past red carpet events that this actress is not afraid to wear eye-catching colors, and honestly, we don't have a problem with that.
Cardi B's New Look
Cardi B became famous not just for her rapping skills, but also for her over-the-top clothing choices. There are times though when she just decided to lay low and show a completely different side of her.

At the 2017 Diamond Ball, she surprised everyone when she wore a classic Christian Siriano gown that made her look like a real life princess. The off-the-shoulder sleeves, sweetheart neckline, and voluminous skirt all complimented the feminine charm that the rapper seemed to have been hiding all these years.
Whoopi Goldverg's "Whoops" Outfit
We all know that Whoopi Goldberg has a good reputation in the film industry, but we're not sure though what her reputation is in the fashion industry once she wore this purple and green outfit during the 1993 Academy Awards.

A quick lesson in art would show us that purple and green are complementary colors (almost), which means that they go well with each other. We don't know why this outfit isn't working out though. Could it be the design? Wanting to catch the attention of everyone, we strongly believe that Goldberg did so for all the wrong reasons.
Jennifer Lawrence's Simple Yet Drop Dead Gorgeous Style
In the Hunger Games film franchise, Jennifer Lawrence was able to successfully carry out the role of headstrong and outspoken Katniss Everdeen. Her character wasn't afraid to get down and dirty and had a more masculine side to her.

In real life, Lawrence is the embodiment of all things feminine, starting with this Calvin Klein dress that she wore during the 2011 Academy Awards. She was definitely able to take something so simple and make it look red carpet-worthy. Her entire look was praised by many personalities, including several fashion critics.

Not only was the color an excellent choice for the award-winning actress, but the overall design and detail were also on point. All we can say is this is one actress that's simply oozing with style from head to toe.
Jane Fonda Remains Stunning Throughout the Years
It's safe to say that Jane Fonda is already an expert when it comes to receiving awards and looking good in front of the camera. Due to her long-spanning career in the film industry, Fonda already knows what looks good on her as opposed to what doesn't.

At the 2016 Golden Globes, the veteran actress donned a white YSL Couture that made her look more elegant than ever. The ruffle details on her gown gave it a bit more personality. However, that actress later revealed that she chose the design as a way to cover her mastectomy bandages.
Saoirse Ronan's Fiery Tribute
We cannot deny the fact that Saoirse Ronan is one of the best dressed stars in Hollywood. As she attended the Met Gala in 2019, with the theme Celebrating Camp: Notes on Fashion, she thought of putting together an outfit that would bring out the fiery lady in her.

She turned a red dress into one of the most interesting fashion statements that evening as she paired it with two dragon-like pieces as a decal on her shoulders. If you ask us why she chose that outfit, we don't know either, but it sure does work.
Bryce Dallas Howard's Simple Blue Dress
As the eldest daughter of actor and filmmaker Ron Howard, a lot of people expect Bryce Dallas Howard to be just as successful as her famous father. You'd be happy to learn that she is in fact one of the most sought-after actresses in the industry, and it's not difficult to see why.

Even though she is the daughter of a famous Hollywood legend, Bryce still managed to make a career of her own with just pure acting skills. Not only that, but she is one of the most beautiful actresses in Hollywood too, not to mention having a great fashion sense. At the 2016 Golden Globes, she wore a blue Jenny Packham gown that didn't take too much of the spotlight. It was the perfect balance of simple yet elegant.
Rooney Mara Goth Goddess
Beginning her career in television and independent films, who would've thought that a woman such as Rooney Mara would eventually make it to red carpet events such as the Golden Globes?

Wearing a black Nina Ricci gown at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards ceremony, the actress definitely gave off an elegant goth queen vibe throughout the event. To this day, the dress she wore during this event remains as one of her most iconic looks yet, and it's really not hard to see why.

As time passes, more and more men in the film industry are trying to break the standards of what male celebrities should and shouldn't wear. One guy who continuously and proudly wears outfits that are a bit more different than what we're used to is Timothée Chalamet.

At the 2019 Venice Film Festival, he wore a silver Haider Ackermann outfit with a matching belt that was cinched at the waist. Just like other personalities such as Harry Styles, Chalament proves that men could don any outfit that they want without having to listen to what society says about them.
Liu Wen's Oriental Appeal
There aren't a lot of Asian personalities who make it to the Met Gala, but one who did manage to grace the event's red carpet is Chinese model Liu Wen. Some celebs opt for more one of a kind ensembles as they attend the event, but Liu Wen decided to go for a more classic look during the 2014 Met Gala.

Wearing a Zac Posen gown, Liu Wen made everyone's jaws drop to the floor and just admire her while confidently wearing her green ball gown.
Ezra Miller Patchwork of Styles
One look at Ezra Miller and every woman starts to swoon. His defined bone structure is simply a dream come true for the ladies and explains why he looks so dashingly handsome all the time. Because of that, the Fantastic Beasts actor tries to level up by making sure his outfit is always on point.

At the 2018 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, Miller wore a Bode outfit that looked like it had some patchwork sewn onto it. Instead of the usual black tux, Miller definitely mixed things up successfully and proved that men shouldn't always play safe when it comes to dressing up.
Saoirse Ronan Anything But Basic
From child actress, starring as Susie Salmon in the film Lovely Bones, Saoirse Rona has grown up to be one of the most talented actresses of her generation. Winning award after award, the young and vibrant celebrity also managed to undergo a style evolution that is fitting of a multi-award winning actress such as herself.

One of her most unforgettable outfits was the one she wore during the 2018 Golden Globes. Designed by Versace, Saoirse looked stunning as she smiled in front of the camera while clasping the Golden Globe trophy in both of her hands.
Susan Sarandon Brighter Than the Sun
There are a few celebrities who wear an insane amount of gold yet still look trendy and stylish. While there really is no rule as to how people would wear this color, we think it's safe to say that it should never be done excessively.

Such a bold and vibrant color should be worn in the simplest way possible, which is the exact opposite of what Susan Sarandon did during the 86th Academy Awards in 1996. She even paired her outfit with some sunglasses even though it was night time indoors. Even she was blinded by how bright her outfit was.
Elle Fanning's Old School Look
There's no questioning that Disney made the right move in casting Elle Fanning as Princess Auror in Maleficent. Looking at her in real life, her beauty truly is more than words could explain. Being aware of this fact, the young actress tries her very best to emphasize her beauty by donning outfits that compliment her looks.

As such, she wore a lot of different styles of clothes to the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, but one of the most talked-about outfits was her Dior Haute Couture dress. If it reminds you of women from the '20s, that's because Elle was inspired by an old photograph of a model wearing a similar outfit.
Charlize Theron The Woman in the Orange Dress
Charlize Theron's beauty has been considered by many as unrivaled and timeless. She proved this to the non-believers during the 7th Annual Vanity Fair Oscar Party in 2000 when she wore a tangerine colored Vera Wang gown that covered everything but her back. While many would agree that Theron made fashion history during the said event, the actress actually thinks otherwise as she revealed that she failed to land several roles all thanks to this dress.

Kate Hudson's
There's no denying that Kate Hudson managed to inherit not just her mother, Goldie Hawn's talent in acting but also her beauty. Sometimes though, beauty and talent aren't enough for some people, as these can easily be ignored with just one outfit mishap.

At the 2001 Oscar Awards, people seem to have looked right through Hudson's beautiful face as they turned their attention to her grey dress. A lot of people weren't too pleased with her chosen outfit for the event, and they kept on pointing out one fashion blunder after the other. Still, she paid no mind to her haters and went on to enjoy the night.
Hilary Swank Looking Like A Million Dollars, Baby
It's amazing how Hilary Swank could go from Million Dollar Baby to Black Dahlia in an instant. There's no doubt that her role in the former was a bit more masculine and strong than we're used to, but we're impressed to see just how versatile this actress can be both in films and in real life.

During the 2005 Academy Awards, Swank decided to go for a more feminine, yet daring, outfit that turned the heads of everyone who saw her. For a year such as 2005, her back-bearing outfit might have been considered too revealing, but looking at it now, we can say it's just the right amount of sexy.
Anne Hathaway
We still can't believe how far Anne Hathaway has come in the film industry ever since her Princess Diaries days. She has truly achieved a lot from the moment she made her debut on the big screen. Throughout the years, she has portrayed different kinds of characters in various film projects, and along with the changes in her roles comes changes in her style as well.

At the 2013 Oscar Awards, Hathaway wore this elegant Prada gown. She originally was supposed to wear something different but changed at the last minute to avoid wearing something similar to her Les Miserables co-star Amanda Seyrfried's outfit.
Lady Gaga Looking Classy In Black
Lady Gaga's performance in the film A Star Is Born truly cemented her reputation as an excellent singer and actress. Her rendition of the song Shallow, together with her co-star Bradley Cooper really won the hearts of many people across the globe.

Of course, she was asked to perform the song during the 2019 Academy Awards, so she had to look for an outfit that would best fit the event. As a result, she sported this black gown by Alexander McQueen as she graced the red carpet. As usual, Mother Monster looked stunning in her outfit.
Kate Hudson's Bohemian Glow
Fast forward to two years after she was slammed for her outfit choice during the 2001 Academy Awards, actress Kate Hudson managed to redeem herself as she sported a boho chic Valentino dress to the Golden Globe Awards in 2003.

Although this still isn't considered by many as an Oscar-appropriate dress, it's a million times better than the dress she wore two years prior. Even though she never let those negative criticisms get to her head, we're pretty sure there is plenty of room in her heart to learn from them.
Charlize Theron Red with Fury
We couldn't agree more with those saying that Charlize Theron was a vision in red when she wore this sexy yet sophisticated plunging dress to the 2016 Oscar Awards. The Mad Max: Fury Road star is known to wear some of the most elegant looking gowns the fashion industry has ever seen, and this event was no different from the rest.

As usual, she flaunted all her best assets while wearing the red stress. Did we mention that red is the color of confidence, something that Charlize is abundant in?
Jennifer Lopez Modern-day Cinderella
The last outfit of Jennifer Lopez that we're going to see here on our list is the one she wore during the 2015 Academy Award ceremony. She's such a huge fashion icon that there's a need for us to include her several times in this list just because she keeps on wearing some of the trendiest clothes we've ever seen.

In this event, the gown she wore, which was designed by Elie Saab, is considered by many as a modern Cinderella look. The voluminous skirt had just the right amount of tulle and the color complimented the actress/singer's skin tone perfectly. Need we say more?
Madonna's See Through Combo
We're not going to deny that Madonna is perhaps one of the most legendary musicians in history. With such a title in her name, she ends up doing anything she sets her heart to, even wearing outfits that don't exactly agree with the latest trends.

In the 2011 Vanity Fair event, Madonna wore a black see-through skirt, paired with a black leotard and another see-through cover-up that is accentuated with black fur. During that time, it's as good as a crime for women not to wear pants. It just wasn't the trend. Still, Madonna did her own thing and rocked her outfit that evening.
Salma Hayek's Curves In All the Right Places
We believe that no one would argue with the fact that Salma Hayek is one of the hottest and most seductive actresses in the industry. When she first appeared in the Quentin Tarantino film From Dusk Till Dawn, everyone knew that she would have a successful career in Hollywood.

As one of the most attractive women in the film industry, of course, Hayek doesn't just have a beautiful face but a banging body too. Luckily for us, she wore a black Prada outfit to the 2005 Academy Award ceremony which was immortalized in photos such as this one.
Angelina Jolie Pregnant Never Looked This Good
Pregnant women must be wondering how Angelina Jolie could still manage to look this good even with a bloated belly. Most knocked up ladies complain about how tired and stressed they look thanks to their whacked up hormones, but not this Hollywood actress who is more glowing than ever.

Wearing a Max Azria Atelier olive green dress, Jolie wowed everyone once again at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival along with her then-husband Brad Pitt and Kung Fu Panda co-star Jack Black.
Marion Cotillard's Not So Fishy Situation
It might be Marion Cotillard's confidence that makes her such an attractive woman, but for all we know, her beauty contributes greatly to the fact that she is one of the annual stunners during the Academy Awards. She never seems to choose the wrong outfit to wear during the event, no matter how ridiculous it may seem.

For the 2008 Academy Award ceremony, Cotillard focused on fish scales as the theme of her outfit. Now, there are a hundred scenarios running through our minds where fish scales used as a design for a go could go wrong, but with her chic fashion style, Cotillard knows exactly how to make it look better.
Demi Moore Ruffles Things Up
Most women end up looking less and less attractive as they age, but the exact opposite seems to be happening to Demi Moore. As the years pass, the Hollywood actress seems to be getting even more attractive than in previous years. We don't know what her secret is, but it would sure be nice to know it.

She wowed everyone with her blush peach cascading ruffled gown designed by Atelier Versace during the 2010 Academy Awards. If you adore what she looks like here, then you should definitely see her during the next few years after this event.
Anne Hathaway Shines Through the Night
Anne Hathaway has always had a great eye for fashion, and she never seems to miss a trendy outfit whenever she sees one. For the 2010 Golden Globe Awards, she did it again as she wore a sparkling Armani Prive gown with tons of sequins sewed on to catch glimmers of light that made the actress look like a shining goddess.

The best part of her outfit though was the absence of a back part. Using illusion tulle, all eyes were on The Princess Diaries actress during that evening.
Gwyneth Paltrow Looking Sleek and Chic
Every time Gwyneth Paltrow attends a red carpet event, she couldn't help but create a new trend that everyone would soon follow. At the 2012 Academy Awards, her white Tom Ford gown with an asymmetrical neckline partnered with a removable cape made fashion history as it became one of her most unforgettable outfits during the event.

Undoubtedly, the body-hugging gown fit like a glove to her slender body, and it ultimately made her look more sleek and chic than ever before.
Lucy Liu Takes A Step Into the Future
While we were all living in the present, Lucy Liu already had one foot at the future... at least with the outfit she wore. During the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2012, the Charlie's Angels actress chose to wear a futuristic Versace silver outfit that hugged her body in all the right places.

While not many people were able to appreciate this look during that time, it most certainly fits well in the fashion industry today. For what it's worth, Liu definitely broke away from the normal ball gowns that most female celebrities wear to red carpet events.
Meryl Streep Channels the Oscar statue
For years, Meryl Streep has dominated the Academy Awards with her sheer brilliance as an actress. Not only that, but she seems to be an expert when it comes to deciding what outfit would look good on her and be Oscar winner-worthy. With so many awards in her name, it's no surprise why the multi-award winning actress managed to mirror the award she is so fond of receiving.

A perfect example would be the gold Lanvin dress she wore during the 2012 Academy Awards which reminded everyone of a female version of the Oscar trophy. Her outfit that night was the perfect choice as she won the Best Actress award for her role in the film The Iron Lady.
